Have spent 7 MONTHS re-doing their work OVER and OVER. The job should have taken 3-4 days max. They act like they are interested in your business and making you happy, but do the exact opposite. The owner, Bona, blames everything on his employees, and never takes responsibility of his own work. Most of the employees are very professional, as long as the owner stays out of their work. I would pay double to have worked with someone else.

    Complete Home Improvements
After leaving four voice mail messages over three weeks I finally gave up. If I cannot rely on Justin to have the common courtesy to return my calls I surely cannot rely on him to fulfill an agreement or contract. Try improving your basic communications. You may or may not be a great contractor but if I cannot get in touch with you then you are of no use to me. Please don't try and say that you did not get the messages. I will gladly show my AT&T call records.

I was very pleased with every project Hagood construction has done for me. The kitchen re-model was the largest I had him do. We had a wall moved, replaced cabinets, added an island, tiled the floor, moved a refrigerator with ice-maker, etc. It all went very well. The quality of the work was excellent. It's been 3 years and it has held up beautifully. I have since had Chris do a small roofing repair, which also went well. I would recommend Chris Hagood without reservation.

    RC Interiors
The overall experience was great, and we are very pleased with the final outcome. Roger and his team offered a very competitive price, and when the job was complete, I paid exactly what he estimated. The subcontracted plumber charged a little more than I expected, but the tub installation was flawless - no creaks, shifting, etc. like I have read about with some other remodeling projects.
Roger worked with me through my decisions on how the tile and trim would come together (ceiling and floor). I am glad I took his advice on installing a niche box in my shower - our friends and family have commented on how nice and professional it looks.
Even though the walls and ceiling do not come together at perfectly square angles, Roger was able to get the tile to look perfect. The baseboards and trim are also perfect: clean angles, smooth fits and finish, and a very professional look.
I would highly recommend Roger Vaughn and his team at RC Interiors for anyone looking for professional work to be done as part of a tiling, trimming, or general remodeling project.

Contractor was very professional and helpful. He navigated interaction with our insurance company to assist in our claim. All work was completed as promised and in time. Very satisfied with accessibility and work done.

We cross-referenced Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau and came up with the McMunns.  Super easy to work with Roger and his son on this project, which was a partial renovation of a 105 year old house so that my wife and I could sell and move to a new house.  We did a thorough walk through of the property with them initially ... they really listened to what we wanted to have done and suggested approaches and alternatives.  They produced for us an itemized punch list to choose from, stuck with us as items had to change (like wall paint color), scoped down work when leaky pipe damage was not as extensive as expected and didn't charge us the full price for the task, and just knocked out a quality job all around in a reasonable amount of time.  The repairs to the wall and flooring where a drainage pipe from the upstairs bathroom had cracked and leaked inside a wall was particularly noteworthy.  You wouldn't know a section of the original plaster wall and tongue and groove flooring had been replaced unless you had lived there before ... they did that good of a job matching the stain to the original adjacent floorboards.  I can't tell you how happy I was to walk through the house with their contract/punch list in hand and see the quality job they did on every single them we asked them to do ... nothing left out ... nothing done half way.  I would absolutely recommend them ... and we will be calling them back for some work on our new house (another 100+ year old gem, in need of tender loving care).

The installation went well. They were prompt and installer was knowledgeable. He was working alone and I questioned that this was a 2-person job for a few parts. The finished product looked very good. Only issue that we had was the color of the shelving didn't match the enclosure. Not sure why but they were good to come back and make it better but they claim that was the correct color for that selection. It was close but it did not match to our total satisfaction.

We used this contractor based on a referral from our cabinetmaker, who said he would work with Deanna and her staff throughout the entire process.  We understood this was a small job using a remnant piece but expected much better customer service than was received.
A lack of communication and responsiveness was apparent from the very beginning of our experience.  When their Decatur office didn't open when scheduled, we made two trips to Huntsville in November, first to view slabs and second to select and make our down payment.  Face-to-face, Deanna and the office staff were fine.  It was the lack of coordination and follow-up after that which irritated us.
Our cabinet was installed on Mon Jan 20 and from our home the cabinetmaker called the Huntsville office; he was told they would call us back to schedule the template appointment.  When we called back two days later, we were told a template maker would be there the next day but could not get a specific time.  When he finally arrived, he apologized and explained he was just asked that morning to add our job to his schedule.  He was great - very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in his explanation of the work and the expected product.  He explained the granite should be available for install in just a few days.
Days later, still no contact so we called the office and got the hem-haw about needing to coordinate with Deanna.  When I finally reached Deanna, she told us it would be almost three weeks before they could fit us into their install schedule.  She said this delay was because some of her staff had been sick.
The day prior to install we received a call about bad weather coming and we would be contacted if there would be a delay in the installation. Day of install - Tuesday Feb 11 finally arrives and guess what? Some snow!  But no phone call or email from the office and no response from our messages for four days.  Then a message was received, Friday morning, 9:30ish, but because we didn't respond within 20 mins of her phone call, we were told the installer would be at our home after he finished his next template job.  So within the hour, we were home waiting and waited and waited.
When the installer hadn't contacted us or arrived by 1:00ish, a phone call to the Decatur office resulted in the same hem-haw.  Finally the installer called back to say he would be there shortly and that the install would take only about 20 minutes.  Seriously?  We had to wait almost three weeks for a 20 min install?  Great service huh?  Especially since not once were we offered an evening or Saturday appointment so readily advertised.
The installer arrived and sure enough about 30 mins later, the vanity top was installed.  We loved the selected stone and its fit although our new custom cabinet had to be cut to fit the sink - understandable - but the resulting mess wasn't cleaned up.
Afterward we noticed the faucet holes were cut crookedly and a couple of scratches but more disturbing - a very rough repair on the sink lip hadn't been sanded down/polished.  Of course within the hour the office promptly called because the installer had failed to get the remaining payment!
So on Monday we called the office and explained that we wanted them back out to fix the repair and pick up the payment.  The installer called us about an hour before he arrived on Tuesday, fixed the repair, and even caulked the stone for us.

My take?  If you are a small business who wants to stay in business, then your customer service needs to be great!  It is amazing the rewards a small investment in communication will earn you.  Inform & empower your office staff and return phone calls promptly.  A simple follow up call goes a long way, especially if you want repeat customers.

    Sweet Home Repairs and Remodeling
I had called to get a rough estimate for a kitchen/dining room remodel and the possibility of adding on in the back.  I left a message requesting a call back, which was returned promptly.   The questions asked helped me realize there was quite a bit I still needed to do and decide prior to getting an actual estimate.  No services rendered at this time, but I will be calling them back once I am ready.

    James Pressnell Contracting and Tile
Mr Pressnell came to my home when he said he would. He was never late! He and his crew took great pride in keeping their "mess" to a minimum. They were very considerate of us and our home. I would CERTAINLY use him again and give him the highest recommendation.
