    He called approximately 30 mins before he arrived to let me know he was coming.  Went through the troubleshooting process and allowed me to watch what he was doing.  Was very polite the entire time, unlike some other companies in the area (J&B appliance).  The problem ended up being a hose.  He trimmed about 1/2" from the hose and now it works like a champ.  Simple solution.  Paid in cash and he gave a discount!  Don't expect it for large/long jobs.  It might have been 15-20 minutes for this job.

    Gable Mount Attic Fan not working. Precision Air installed new motor, then had to call for a thermostat. Took three trips. I felt they should have come with a new fan and installed it the first day. Needed my ladder and flashlight.....I think I was taken...Gave me no estimate...My fault for not asking. I knew that I could purchase a whole new fan/with thermostat for under $150.00. Fan is very noisy, but I will not pay for them to come back out. My 76 year old neighbor adjusted the thermostat so it wouldn't run 24/7. Live and learn

    This company thinks that they are the only jewelry store in town, the prices are out of site and the people that work there look at you like it is your pleasure to be there. They are not helpful, friendly, or nice.

    When the part for the dishwasher came in they came out to replace the panel. Unfortunately all of the appliances in my kitchen are white. The panel they got was jet black. It was a substantial size, 2 feet wide and about 10 inches tall, and would look awful on a white dishwasher. Apparantly they had not bothered to check the part when it came in to see if it was the right one, but just showed up at my door. When I said I didn't want a big black panel on a white dishwasher, I was told they could return it, it would not be a problem, so I asked them to return it and told them I'd order the panel directly myself and pay them to install it. I was again told that would be fine, there would be no problem in returning the panel. After the part I ordered kept being back ordered, I fnally called the company (Sears) and was told that part was no longer available. At this point my we had been without a dishwasher for almost 2 months, so my husband and I bought a new dishwasher and contacted Applicance Repair Specialists for a refund. Since they had told me they were returning the part we should have already recieved the refund but hadn't. I talked with Mrs Chandler, the owner's wife and was told that it was important for them to keep a customer and we'd have a check in the mail on monday. It was now the middle of august and still no refund..When I called Appliance Specialists back I got a run around and excuses. After almost two months I finally contacted the Better Business Bureau. The reply I got from the company stated I'd been told they would refund me the price of the part minus return shipping, restocking fee and labor, leaving me with a $98.00 refund out of the $203.81 I paid. I was told in no uncertain terms that there would be no problem in returning the part and that they would refund the full price to me. So now this company has kept the part, which they no doubt returned for a full refund for themselves, and also kept the $203.81 which we paid for it. Appliance Repair Sepcialists did not reply to my response to the Better Business Bureau. Since they did not reply back to the Better Business Bureau BBB closed the case. This company is not a company I'd recommend or use again. Service when they do it rightit is very expensive but the service is ok but when something goes wrong you're going to be out of luck!

    When I called Ed's Appliance, I gave him the model and serial number of our oven and explained to him the problem. He told me how much it would be to replace the part that was damaged and that he would call me when he had received the part. He did exactly that. He came very quickly and replaced the part. The charge was exactly what he quoted. He was a very nice man and did the job efficiently.
