    Coastal Tree and Landscaping
I hired a contractor to build a retaining wall, privacy fence, and a shed earlier this summer (2016). I needed a mature tree to be removed for the construction of the shed. The contractor quoted a price to have the tree removed and said STEVE BROWNLOW with COASTAL CONNECTIONS (whom my complaint is with) would remove the tree; I agreed with the price and recommendation. Steve came with his team and removed the tree, however almost immediately things began to go sideways as one of his hired hands dipped his dirty sweaty ballcap into my pool to clean it from sweat and tree shavings. I made a comment on how that was not appreciated or welcomed, but shortly later it appeared I was not heard as another hired hand laid down and dipped his entire saw dust covered head into my pool to which I again made a comment, albeit louder?immediately Steve Brownlow intervened and chastised his hired hand, although it was too little too late. A few days passed and the retaining wall and fence the first contractor tried to build started to lean as soon as dirt was filled in behind it. They called Steve Brownlow for advice on how to fix it. I was not convinced the contractor could handle the project so I released the first contractor and signed a contract with Steve Brownlow to finish the job correctly; I essentially paid twice in full for the bulkhead and fence. Steve talked a real good game and I felt real comfortable with him so I also hired him to remove some dead grass from my yard and install a water sprinkler system, then lay sod. Steve was able to straighten the retaining wall, however the fence was still crooked. He said he would fix the fence, but never did as he always had an excuse. He convinced me I needed three sprinkler ?zones? versus two, so figuring he was the expert, I agreed. I was about to find out the hard way he was not an expert. Two zones he installed in my back yard basically water the same area of grass and his ?foreman? then recommended I just shut off one of the zones. There was a sprinkler head that was basically watering my neighbor?s driveway and another head watering my other neighbors front yard. He did fix one of those sprinkler heads, but not the other. There are several sprinkler heads sticking out the ground atleast an inch. I have seems in my yard that are about 3-4 inches wide and 2-4 inches deep from the sod he laid. I have exposed PVC pipes and wires from the sprinkler system which he said would be covered up with a ?green box?, but have not been covered yet. I could go on and on about his continued broken promises to come back and fix all I have mentioned, but there are to many to list. I made the mistake of paying in full before the job was complete?soon after I paid him, he basically gave up on me and moved on to the next victim.

Responded immediately to request for estimate. Came next day and gave fair quote for scope of work.  Scheduled for April but called with earlier opportunity in March.  Had insurance agent provide me with copy of insurance.  This is the first time any service provider has done that for me, and I did not even ask for it.  Crew arrived on time.  There were seven workers, all with matching uniform work shirts and all wore hard hats, again a first for me,  They used a bucket truck and worked carefully and professionally removing all three trees.  They cleaned up everything when they were finished.  They even helped a neighbor with a small job.  I was very impressed and will call them again if I need any tree work.

    Rose's Tree Service LLC
They sent an estimate through email.  We review it and set a date for the work.  Afterwards we contacted them to make changes to the estimate (two trees were going to be removed originally) and they promptly adjusted the estimate.  The confirmed the appointment several days before the actual day and provided us with an estimate of when they will arrived.  The arrived almost on the dot!! They came prepared with all the equipment and personnel needed.  The work lasted about 7 hours and when they left everything was clean with no debris left behind.  The dollar amount was less than references from neighbors and friends.  We fell that we got a good deal and excellent service!!!!  We will use again in the future!!!

As stated above I had a great deal of tree work to be done.  A couple of weeks ago I read Chris's reviews on Angies List and called him.  He arrived right on time and we did a walk through on my property.  I was VERY impressed with Chris's knowledge of plant species and his recommendations for work that I might consider.  Recently Chris came over and we went through the yard again.  I felt very comfortable, as I had the first time, that the work would be done satisfactorily.  We scheduled the work for Friday, March 6.
They called Tuesday, March 3, and said they had an opening and would like to come the next day.  I agreed.
They arrived exactly at the time they said they would and the work began.  Chris, his father Mike, and six gentlemen went to work.  It was like watching a beehive in process.  I saw truck after truck after truck of debris being removed.  The whole process took 8+ hours and the results were beyond my wildest expectations.  With all of the work that was done, the yard was left spotless.  I couldn't have been more pleased.  The trees didn't look "scalped."  They just looked healthy and "refreshed!"
During the day I would walk around and thanked the guys for the work they were doing.  One gentleman answered:  "Thank you for the work."  It was a  "WIN-WIN" project.  I got a really good feeling early on that this was going to be pleasant experience and, it was.  I've walked around the property three times today and it really looks wonderful.

Fantastic! As soon as we confirmed what was to be done, the work was completed two days later. They exceeded my expectations. I was at my home part of the time watching what they did. Later that day when I came home, the yard was perfectly cleaned, as were the driveway and sidewalk, as if no on was even there.

I cannot say enough good things about  Amy, Ray and their crew.

From my first called to get an estimate until the job was completed they were friendly, profesional, on time and have a great work ethic.  I expected the job to take a full day and they had it done in a little over a half a day. It was amazing to watch them work.  Everyone knew exactly what to do.  When they were there I asked them to remove some roots which had spread into the yard which they did.
When they left everything was removed and except for the trees being gone you would never know they had been there. They had blown off the roof, sidewalk and driveway.  They even asked if i wanted to keep the mulch amd spread it where I wanted it.  I felt their price was very reasonable considering the size of the trees.
I plan to have them back in the future to clear underbrush from a vacant lot we own next door.
Amy and Ray know how to run a business and take care of their customers.  I am sure they will be in business for many years to come.

    Hobbs Tree Service
We have used Hobb's tree service several times and they have always been very professional and the job is done correctly. I have never seen anyone work harder than these men! They took two and a half days to get everything done and worked from early morning until 5:30 in the afternoon. They priced the work less than two other companies as well. We did get a discount for giving them our wood to sell for firewood ( fine with us because we didn't need it). The owners are also very friendly and polite. We will definitely continue to use them and recommend them.

    The Lady's Lawn Service, LLC
Pam and her crew and are very professional and responsive. She arrived promptly to our first appointment to provide an estimate for lawn care and landscaping and was hired on the spot.  Communication is her strength.  Having four dogs, we asked to be notified prior to the arrival of the crew.  She is the only lawn care provider who has done this for us.  Whether by email, text, or phone, Pam responds in a timely manner to all three.
Professionally, Pam knows her plants and chooses appropriately based on sun or shade.  The company is currently sodding our backyard and repairing our in-ground sprinkler system. Her lawn and plant care instructions are explicit.
We highly recommend her company to anyone looking for a quality lawn care and landscaping service provider.

I met Chris at the Daphne Home Show and was impressed with his credentials. I had a little trouble getting in touch with him but once I did and he came out I realize that someone with such credentials and knowledge was worth the wait. I'm from Illinois so many of the trees and scrubs in my yard I'm unfamiliar with. Chris took the time to educate me of the species and care of almost everything in my yard. The very next day he called me back with info on something he wanted to verify for me. I'm planning on having him take a tree down and do some trimmings of other trees.

    Tri State Tree Service LLC
They cut five medium size trees, trimmed branches away from our house and even did a few extras.  They cleaned up everything neatly.  I recommended them to my in-laws, who used them and sang their praises.
