    Coastal Overhead Door
Great!!!! They are the best. I had Precision come out and they quoted me $280 to replace cables on my garage door. Their guy made up a bunch of BS and I sent him packing. Then I called Coastal and the guy came out within 2 hours and replaced my cables, tuned everything up, oiled everything and charged me $103. WHAT A DIFFERENCE from Precision Doors!!! I would recommend Coastal to anyone and have made sure I put them in my file cabinet for ANY door problems.

    Mike Dean Construction LLC
I called Mike on Monday morning and asked him to give me an quote on a new metal roof. He showed up the same day and inspected my roof, and gave me a great estimate on the roof. I had also requested estimates from three other roofing companies. One company never showed up, one company was not interested in quoting what I wanted, but rather what they thought I needed, the third company was so far out of line price wise that I laughed at them. Five days after we decided to use Mike Dean Construction, we had a new metal roof (that had been brought into compliance with current Florida hurricane codes) and at a resonable price. Mike is a great individual, and his company does great work.

    Folkers Window Co
The work was done efficiently by a two-man team in approximately four hours. The team was professional, and I now have a complete set of easy-to-install storm panels. It took approximately 12 weeks from the time the measurements were taken to the time of installation. I am very pleased with the results.

    Folkers Window Co
Starting with the Rep Linda and ending with the 2 Technicians I would only wish that my experiences with other companies went as well. This Company not only provided exactly as they promised, They exceeded my expectations finishing an entire day early and treating my entire construction experience with the feeling " My job was the priority ". The Techs worked in the backyard with my dogs and not only did they treat them well, I thought the dogs wanted to leave with them. I am planning to get all of my windows changed, a new front door and a Bay window installed and Folkers has my Business from here on. The owner Kip called me and personally checked to make sure I was happy with the work and gave me his personal guarantee that my satisfaction was important. In a world full of people complaining I am happy to say I found a company that makes me proud to say Good Job ! The Final Kudos I will give to Folkers is I was considering selling this house but, Thanks to them I now Know I can make this one into the one I wanted to build without it being a nightmare. One door actually made my house have an entirely new personality. Great People and Great Company!

The slowest part of the process was the time it took to manufacture the windows and the Hurricane shutters. But I understood that all of the items had to be made to provice measurements and in the end everything fit perfectly.

    Folkers Window Co
It went great. Ms. Linda came out and discussed our needs and expectations and then proceeded to show us our various options. She was extremely nice and knowledgeable. My dogs and baby didn't even drive her crazy :) We have several windows and doors we are working on replacing in our new home from the unpreferred builder grade windows/doors. We are doing in in sections as we want the best. We will have Folkers replace all remaining house windows and doors as money permits. The entire staff from Ms. Linda, the office, the owner, the installers that we have had the pleasure of speaking with or working with have been remarkable. We love our new windows and noticed and immediate difference! We highly, highly recommend Folkers. They were clear, concise, extremely knowledgeable, prompt & professional.

    Folkers Window Co
I have to agree with most other reviews; job could not have gone better.  Installation was meticulously done in a total of two days - half of the time originally estimated.    Windows themselves are well built and work perfectly, as well as being very nice looking. Initial savings on air conditioning costs seems to be in the range of 10%, but the main advantages are storm safety and the surprisingly strong ability to dampen the outside noise.   The two installers worked steadily and efficiently, and cleaned up the job site well.   The old windows were recycled, and all debris was carried away.   I am very pleased.

    Folkers Window Co
We stopped by Folkers' place of business in Pensacola and were given excellent service as far as information, answers to our questions, suggestions, etc. We decide to go ahead and use them, particularly because they had done hurricane shutters for us several years ago and we were quite happy with that job. As repeat customers, we were given a very nice discount on this new job. A representative came to our house promptly and took us through all the options as to types of windows, features, etc., in a friendly and thorough manner. He did some preliminary measuring and priced everything we decided to buy. The bottom line was quite a bit less than we had feared. 50% down was required and they do accept credit cards. Also prompt, courteous and efficient was the man who came to do the precision measurements. Two of our windows were just too small to replace, but we did hire them to replace the glass in the existing frames. That was done quickly and professionally, with no mess left behind. With 23 other windows to replace, as well as two doors, the bulk of the job took a day and a half, give or take an hour or so. On the first day, two guys in the morning and four in the afternoon got almost all the windows done, removing the old and installing the new.  The second day, a crew of four finished the windows and doors. Once again, the crews were punctual, polite, and efficient. They did a thorough job of cleaning up and replacing the window treatments that we had not removed ourselves. The old windows and all debris were removed. The new windows are so nice and clear, it's hard to tell they are closed. :-) The only flaw occurred with the screens. We had ordered fine-meshed fabric in an effort to keep out the tiny flying insects (no-see-ums) that have been annoying us. Unfortunately, most of the screens were made the wrong size. Folkers will have that taken care of as quickly as possible, and we were advised that we do not have to pay the balance of the total cost until the correct screens are delivered and installed. I rated the professionalism a B, although a B+ or A- would be most appropriate. The only reason is that the workers, like so many workers these days, kept a radio going all the time they were here. They did keep it outdoors, not inside, but as there was usually a door or window missing, the sound traveled indoors. I didn't enjoy what they listened to, although it was not offensive. And it was noisy enough already with the necessary power tools and other sounds related to the work. I think they would probably have turned it off if I had asked them to.

    Folkers Window Co
We contacted Folkers in late-April to get some advice and an estimate on the most economical way to protect our home from wind damage without the need to be climbing a 20'+ ladder to secure second-story windows.  After making an appointment Darren arrived at our home promptly and after surveying our home suggested we install impact-resistant windows on the second floor windows and steel storm panels on the ground-floor openings as the most cost effective way of meeting our safety goals.  Once we agreed on the work and price, Darren said it would take approximately 6 weeks for the windows and panels to be fabricated and that they would contact us then to schedule the installation.  In early-May we were advised that the materials were ready and an installation time and day were set.  On the morning of installation the two-man crew of Darel and Jay arrived on-time and immediately set to work.  They worked throughout the entire day without even taking a break for lunch.  They were quick and courteous, at one point even checking to make sure no curios, knickknacks, etc, were on interior walls near where they would be drilling to ensure that nothing would be damaged and they even worked around the in-and-out needs of our dog throughout the day.  All the work was completed in one day, all old windows and materials were removed from the site, and the crew left our home in a perfectly clean state; also leaving behind a diagram indexing where all the panels went with each panel labeled to the corresponding index.  All in all, a top notch and professional home improvement experience.

    Folkers Window Co
We needed to replace our old windows so we consulted Angie's list and called Folkers Window Co.  I was able to meet with Clark, their sales representative, the following week.  He was very knowledgable about the different types of windows  he was selling and tailored to our specific needs. The windows were custom built at the factory so another individual came out for more precise measurements of the windows.  It took about four weeks for the windows to be shipped from the factory to Folkers and they were able to install that week.   Two installers came to the house and explained the entire process in length about what they would be doing for the installation.  The windows and shutters were installed in one day.  During the installation they laid down blankets on the inside of the window and vacuumed when they were finished.  Before they left, they went around the house, cleaned the windows, picked up any garbage that was laying on the ground and asked if I had any questions about the work performed.    All in all it took a little over a month from start to finish and I have had no problems with the windows thus far.  Everyone that I encountered, represented the company in a professional and helpful manner.  I would recommend Folkers to others looking to have their windows replaced as well.
