Penske Truck Rental (A-1 Express Center)
He did all what I needed him to do. I did not have any complaints or issues at all. I reserved it online and when picked it up, reserved it. I just got a truck got out of my own equipment. I go to the truck and they got me here.

    U-HAUL CO
When we got ready to move to our present address, we considered quality and compared prices for truck rental services. U-Haul best met our needs. We chose the agent nearest to us. The company also provides other trucking services, but we chose them for their rental services. The vehicle provided met our needs and surpassed our expectations for quality. We were well-pleased with the services provided.

It went well. The biggest thing was that the truck broke down. They sent someone right out to fix it. They towed the truck to the place we had to go. They took care of us and I was impressed.

    Storage Today At Bordentown
Storage Today is a lousy company to deal with. It took me an hour to get the truck that was sitting right in front of the rental office, even though I had reserved and paid for it days before. The attendant in charge of the facility was new, untrained and not very smart. She had to keep calling her boss on the phone to find out how to enter info on the computer, in between taking cell phone calls from her kids while I stood there waiting. I must have heard a dozen times, "I'm new here, sorry". I didn't ask why she was there alone if she didn't know the job. I guess her boss had something more important to do than run her business. I had also reserved a car trailer, which I had to drive two towns and a half hour away to get hooked up to the 16 footer I had rented. They had no business telling me a 16 foot truck could pull a car trailer without overheating; I had to drive 1200 miles to Florida with no air conditioning, just to keep the piece of s__t on the road! What really galls me, though, is that they never told me I'd be charged for not folding the moving blankets they rented me (which weren?t folded when I picked up the truck)! When I dropped the truck off at the Florida location, Pak ?n Fax, they told me to go out in 95 degree heat and fold 24 moving blankets, or they'd charge me $30. I refused, figuring I'd straighten it out with Budget's "customer service". Wrong! The first rep I talked to was very nice, and told me she'd never heard of anything so ridiculous, but the agency hadn't closed the account yet, so she couldn't do anything. Next day I called back, and this time another rep said I was charged legitimately, even though she could not tell me where I could find the clause about re-folding blankets (it's not in the rental agreement) , nor why I was never told about being charged beforehand. So Budget's service people don't know the rules, no one at the rental agency knew about them (Monica, the owner of Storage Today, said she'd never heard of it, but that apparently isn't her fault!), but I'm supposed to know , presumably through ESP. On top of it all, the people at Pak ?n Fax lied to the Budget people, saying I was abusive and cursed at them, which is a bunch of BS. They also said the truck was dirty, yet when I dropped it off, the blankets were the only thing they mentioned. Not a word about cleaning the truck. Which, come to think of it, is ridiculous in itself; you pay $1500 to rent a truck and they want you to clean it for them, too! Maybe I should have washed and waxed it, and rotated the tires, too.

If only I could give Budget zero stars I would. They really suck. It took me an hour to get the truck that was sitting right in front of the rental office, even though I had reserved and paid for it days before. If you like being treated like dirt, and screwed royally, then by all means do business with Budget and its agents. If you feel you should be treated with respect and your business appreciated, then steer clear of all the aforementioned shysters. My next communication will be with the Better Business Bureau.

    Pak n Fax
This company was the drop-off point for a truck I rented to move from New Jersey. I had used the same place in March, with no real problems other than their being fairly disorganized. This time, when I dropped the keys off, the woman who was dealing with me told me I had to go out on a 95 degree day and get in the back of the truck and fold the moving blankets (24 in all) I had rented with the truck, or I'd be charged $30. When I got the truck in NJ, the blankets weren't folded; the lady at the rental agency never mentioned folding blankets; the last time I dropped off a truck at Pak N Fax, no one told me to fold blankets; and on top of it all, the woman at Pak N Fax could not show me where in the rental agreement it said I'd have to do so. She just said "it's Budget policy". No matter how I protested, she just repeated the same thing. I refused to go out in that heat (far hotter in the back of a truck) and fold twenty-four heavy moving blankets (I'm 58, and not in great health), and I figured Budget's Customer Service would resolve the situation (which they didn't), so I left. My CC was charged the $30. When I called Budget, they contacted Pak N Fax, at which point the lying started; they told Budget I had been abusive and used foul language (completely false). They also said I had been charged for not sweeping out the truck, which I had done early the morning of the drop-off. No one ever said anything about sweeping the truck while I was there, only folding the blankets. This was just something they added once they realized I had called Budget and complained. In short, these people are bad business people, and liars to boot. If you're looking for their services, there's a place just east of them on Rt. 98 that does what they do, and I'd recommend you go there. Oh yeah, stay away from Budget rentals period; their "customer service" is a joke. Just Google "Budget sucks" and see how many negative reviews you come up with.
