    Very professional, helpful, and affordable. I am replacing both of my units now for not that much more than I would have paid (to ONLY replace my first floor unit) if I had went with one of the other companies that quoted me. Thankful that I called Carden. Now I can have peace of mind that both units are brand new instead of spending a ton to replace one, and then worry when the next one will go out.

    I spoke with the provider by phone in advance of the first visit and through the web site as well.  I indicated that repairing the duct was the primary job.  I took off work to accommodate the provider for the initial appointment.  The guy who arrived was very nice and professional but it was apparent that he was only here to service the units.  He looked at the duct and said the installers would have to handle it.  We scheduled the installers for the following week after work.  I took off early to meet them.  At the scheduled time, I received a phone call (from the same gentleman who originally did the service the week prior) that they would not be able to make it due to issues with a previous job.  I told him I understood it happening once but not a second time and rescheduled for the upcoming weekend.  The installer arrived on time and was very professional as well.  He did say that the measurements he was given were incorrect but would adjust.  When the work was completed, he asked me to come check it out.  I must say the work was better than I expected and the price was exactly what was quoted.  Will definitely use again!

    Called company; representative came to inspect and set up a crew to complete installation of new unit that same afternoon. Two-man crew arrived on time and job was completed in less than three hours. Old unit was removed; crew was professional and task proceeded in a timely manner. We did add additional BTU's over the amount in the Angie's List, which added additional cost, but, we are totally satisfied with the result, and we would recommend this company to others and use them again ourselves.

    They "discovered" a lot of things that needed to be replace. They were going to replace the whole thing and I felt like they were being dishonest. The company called me back after the review was left and told me new management is in place, they offered me an full refund. They wanted to make things right, and have new start.

    My furnace was not working so I called Freedom Heating (they were the original installer of my HVAC system in 2010) last night at 8:30pm and was able to quickly set up an appointment time for first thing the next morning (today). The technician called me at 7:30am this morning and said he was running early and confirmed with me that was okay.

    The technician found there was a failure in the gas valve - since this was not a normal item carried on the truck he had to run to Birmingham to get the part. I asked how long it would take and he gave me an estimate of the time to get the part, install it, and perform a system test. Since this was an acceptable time-line I agreed to this.

    He returned on time and was able to complete his work as he estimated.

    The system is working perfectly now! The technician was knowledeable, courteous and professional. Grade A+ service!

    This is the 3rd time I have used Cool Breeze. They have responded promptly, because when your AC goes out in mid summer in AL you need someone as quick as possible. Every time was handled professionally and in a reasonable time for repairs.

    Our A/C stopped cooling at approximately 3pm Saturday, July 14.  After tripping the breaker and rebooting the A/C, which did not help, I looked in Angie's List to find a local company.  After researching, I landed on Freedom Heating and Cooling.  I called around 6pm and Kim answered.  She was very polite and courteous.  After I described my situation, she said she would call the 'on call' technician right away and have him call me.  About 10 minutes later, Michael Swann called and after I described my situation to him, he apologized and said he wouldn't be able to come that evening, but would make us a priority for the next morning (Sunday) before 11am.  He also said he would call when he was on his way.  Even though I thought that was perfectly acceptable reaction time, he still apologized for not being able to come out the same night. 
    The next morning, Michael called at 9:37am and said he was on his way.  At approximately 10:30am he arrived, quickly assessed that it was a capacitor, replaced it in short order, cleaned our outside A/C unit as a courtesy when he noticed it was dirty and advised us on various ways to mitigate it happening again. 
    Throughout the whole process Michael was extremely courteous, friendly and professional.  When he first arrived, he put on 'booties' so as not to track in our house and cleaned up after himself very neatly.  As we chit chatted while he replaced the capacitor, I discovered the reason he couldn't come first thing was because he wanted to make sure he serviced an issue an 85 year old man was having with his A/C unit.  And although he felt bad about not getting to us until 10:30am, he wanted to make sure he satisfied the older gentleman before the day started getting hot.  I told him he did exactly the right thing and kept his word with us as well, arriving before 11am as he promised. 
    Overall, Kim and Michael represented Freedom Heating and Cooling very well and the company should be proud to have them as employees.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

    I would recommend them.  I’ve used them regularly for the past 5 years.  They always do what they say they’re going to do at the best cost.  I don’t remember how much they charged me for their services but I do know that compared to the others, they’re good.  I will use them again in the future.

    The repairs and installation started out fine until repairs were made that weren't authorized on the final day of work.  Extra crew were brought in on a day I wasn't there to make unauthorized repairs and I got charged an outragous amount for all of this unauthorized work.  CC Hawk produced an invoice with labor charges and parts charges but couldn't justify the repairs that were made to warrant such a large bill.  I was threatened with a lien on my home if I didn't pay what I was owed.
