BMac Handy ConstructionI am pleased with the final product, but the process to get there wasn't always what I expected. Several things we had to ask to be redone/improved, and they were. Working at the beginning of COVID season, so he was struggling to have a full work crew. I would use him again, but would ask him to develop a highly planned schedule so I wouldn't wonder he was *just winging it" The final product was great, but I did have some stress and worry along the way.- Rob b.

AMoore ConstructionOverall, it was a very straight forward and pleasant experience! From start to finish was smooth, Moore construction worked to fit everything into a budget I was comfortable with and could afford. The carport matches everything about the look and style of my house, the one concern I had was making the carport look like it had always been there. This was achieved better than I could have expected. Yes you can tell its new but in a few years of weather you will not be able to tell it's an add on. This build was completed in a very timely manner and did not disrupt my daily evening plans when home from work in the evenings. The job site was kept clean and picked up throughout the whole process. I want to point out that if I had known about Moore Construction before this project I would have gladly hired them. AHawker Home ImprovementsMy home project required extensive experience with siding repair and a professional painter to prepare it to be ready for sale. Hawker Home Improvements were able to respond quickly to my request while providing fair pricing for the large amount of labor it would take to complete the project. Jason came out to my home, evaluated the condition, and provided a time line which he regimentally followed. The work ethic was the most impressive, arriving on time early in the day to get a full days work in to make the most of the weather conditions and daylight. His clear communication kept me informed as I was not on site, and when he ran into anything he felt might be of a concern he let me know right away. I felt I was in good hands with someone who I could trust to get the job done without having to come back and continue to double check the work they were performing. He is extremely reliable, dependable, respectful, and will persevere until the work is done right. My home had some challenges, but he made it look amazing! It had been years since my house looked new again like the day I bought it. I contracted him out for other projects at my mother's home due to being extremely satisfied with the quality of his work. He will never take on work that he doesn't feel comfortable with and tells you up front what the options look like. AECS Exterior SolutionsRobert (the business owner) was patient, approachable and communicative throughout the process. Our 1930's era house was a fairly complex job requiring a great deal of critical thought and planning; we were extremely fortunate to have found ECS. Robert has the breadth and depth of experience and expertise in construction that we really needed to get our house back in sound condition. In addition, we both Robert and his employees to be extremely professional, courteous, and honest. Our formerly crumbling old house has been transformed in a truly remarkable manner, not just cosmetically but structurally and functionally as well. The total job cost was fair, given the extensive labor required for our job. Additionally, the skilled craftsmen/carpenters (Jason and Lebron) who did the bulk of the work were incredibly talented and conscientious. Overall, our experience with ECS was so positive that we have recommended this company without reservations to family and neighbors. CMac Handy ConstructionWe got off to a rough start. He said he’d meet me but then sent his girlfriend on several occasions. She was nice and helpful, but I was expecting to meet up with Larry. I finally bought all materials and roofing myself, to avoid hassles. Larry met me with his trailer at the home improvement store, and again at the roofing store. I paid him for labor only, upon completion....in the amount of $3,000. This was for replacing a section of exterior wall, replacing a small section of sub-flooring with plywood, painting the exterior of the building, 16x20, painting the door, and putting on a new roof. An old deck was taken apart and put back on, as well. I’m pleased with the roof and painting of the exterior walls and door. He had to come back and replace a section of wood. He wanted to use wood putty but it was a large area and needed to be replaced with wood, so he replaced it with wood as I requested, and I will soon paint it myself. The deck could look better but since old wood was used, maybe it will look better after I paint it. Using old wood was my choice to save money since the wood was still good. Larry did help me to save money on this storage building. The problems that occurred weren’t so much due to the quality of work, as they were about several other issues and follow through: 1. Being on job site on the days promised, 2. Meeting me when he promised, instead of sending someone else after knowing I was on my way. I’m an hour away. 3. Not being tactful to me or showing professionalism to me as his customer (his bread and butter). Businesses teach the customer is always right. He threw a receipt at me that I didn’t need...and spoke down to me harshly. His texts have been very ugly many times. 4. Serious cursing...MF...and often, every few words, I was told. 5.My neighbor was not happy with some issues that occurred on his property during this time, but Larry says he isn’t responsible and doesn’t know if his workers are responsible or not as Larry wasn’t always there. Larry does not want to do anymore work for me and said he put up dealing with my **** for months and for me not to call him anymore. Therefore, I will not call him anymore. I’m a patient person and hoped to find a handyman I could call on through the years for various projects, but I haven’t found him yet. I found Larry through Home Advisor which is a name I have used and I trust, but he is no longer with them. Larry thinks I don’t like the job they did, but the repair is fine, the painting is fine, the roof looks fine I think, though the wood that hangs over on the corners may have needed replacing...I’m an older woman and don’t know about these things, and the deck isn’t pretty but seems to be sturdy...made from older wood I had.- Della A.

AI got estimates from 5 roofing companies. I was not comfortable with the lowest bid because the guy was not very professional, he did not write up his bid and just wrote the price on his business card. This company was the next lowest price and Matt B. was very knowledgeable and professional. He did push for a commitment and a deposit which none of the others did. The actual start date was 6 weeks after the estimate but that was because I was having an addition built and we were not ready for the roof until then. This was understood by all parties. The roofing crew arrived exactly on time and got immediately to work. They removed the old composite roof down to the plywood, installed 5 new passive attic vents and then completed the entire job, both buildings, in one long day. They cleaned up the yard around the house and garage and hauled all the considerable debris away in their large truck. There were no surprises and the job was done as smoothly as I could hope. I would recommend Prime Management.
