Very pleased with the entire process. First time using Angie's List. Professional and timely service. My clog was extremely severe, requiring work both inside the home as well as under the house. Work completed within an hour. Job itself was a messy one. When the plumber left, he had cleaned under the sink cabinet with bleach and put eveything back in its place. It was like he was never here. Highly recommend Scenic City Plumbing.

Scuba Steve Premier Handyman and Remodeling Services
We knew we had a leak and other issues in our master bath shower. We thought possibly the tile/shower needed to be completely replaced. Called Steve to get an estimate to replace tile/shower. Turned out to be a faulty pipe that Steve replaced. Steve was easy to coordinate with, was here when he said he would be here, thorough and honest. Will definitely use him going forward for repairs and remodeling.

I found Shane's work impeccable. He was very professional and kind when he arrived and he went right to work. And not only did he unclog my tub drain he also put in stoppers in 2 of my bathroom sinks. He made sure we were satisfied with his work before we paid him. I would highly recommend this business for any of your plumbing needs.

I am almost never at a loss for words, but words do fail me when I try to explain my appreciation and gratitude to Shane and Dalton. I called early this morning in a panic because my bathroom was flooded. His first words were to ask me if I was okay. Shane fixed my problem quickly and efficiently. They both wore masks and gloves. They were kind, compassionate, and considerate of my home and me as a senior citizen. You ask if I would use them again...my answer is that I would never consider anyone else. Thank you so much Shane and my God bless and grow your business.

I was really impressed with both Dakota and Shane. They were willing to make the trip all the way to Athens, TN from Chickamauga, GA. None of the other Angie's List plumbers in Chattanooga or Knoxville would do that. The work was done very well and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

A few months ago I found a leak in what I thought was our septic system in our backyard. It smelled like sewage and was near our tank so seemed like a reasonable assumption. We have a pool and lots of concrete and for some reason our septic tank is underneath all this concrete near the pool (was this way since we moved in). I had a few different plumbers come out and take a look. Nearly all of them took one quick look at it and immediately decided it would be just as expensive to tear up all the concrete getting to the septic tank and field lines just to figure out where the leak was. So they all recommended just installing a new tank. In a way they were all correct, it would have cost a fortune to get to the tank. But when Shane came out and checked the leak he suggested that he spend a little time digging where the leak was in case he found it quickly. He thought it might be a field line leaking that wasn't buried as far away from the grass as the tank and might be accessible. He did agree that if he couldn't find the leak in the first couple of feet then it would be best just to go ahead and install a new tank. I should add that his quote for installing the new tank was the best I found, plus he said he would not charge me for the extra work looking for the cause of the leak if he didn't find it. When he and his two co-workers came out they started by digging out the area where the leak was as well as digging a few yards away from the concrete in hopes of finding a field line leading to the leak. They spent about 2 hours working on finding the leak and eventually they did. it turned out the leak was not from the septic system at all! Our kitchen sink and washing machine (possibly dishwasher too) had a separate line not connected to the septic system that had broken and was leaking. Shane fixed the leak and installed a new field line for this separate line and our problem has been solved. It was still an expensive fix (about $5000), but he saved us at least $4000 ($9000 was the cheapest quote for our new tank installation and re-routing plumbing). Not only that, but had we had a new tank installed, we would have spent that $9000 and still had the same leak! Shane was the only person who even made the suggestion to take a closer look where the leak was. All the other plumbers just immediately decided I needed to install a new tank. So we could have ended up spending nearly 10k (or even more depending on which plumber we chose) on a new tank, then another 5k on fixing the real issue! And let's not even get started on the fact that our whole side yard would have been torn up as part of the new tank installation (the field lines he installed were in back in an area that we didn't care as much about). So I can't thank Shane enough for being sensible and suggesting spending just an hour or so diagnosing the problem before jumping into a super expensive fix! I would for sure recommend Rapid Rooter again!

All work was done efficiently and I am confident it was quality installation. They were careful to explain the process and communicate their recommendations. Shane called back in a couple of days to make sure everything was working properly.
