    Quick Care of Huntsville
I have been several times to this clinic for several reasons. They are wonderful. They are close, convenient and open on the weekends. They have always seen us quickly with little wait. They process our insurance. We have been very satisfied with diagnosis and treatment each time.

Personnel were friendly, wait time was short and they were able to promptly diagnose and issue prescriptions for my illness (flu).

She is very thorough. She runs a walk in business. I have never had to wait longer than a half hour. She specializes in low cost care. She accepts medicaid and medicare. She has a great bedside manor. She has a $40.00 office visit. I recommend her to a lot of people.

Quick Care's Pratt Street office located inside a discount drug store and consists of a humble check-in window and small exam room. But don't let the meager environment fool you, the care you receive after you check in is fast, friendly and very professional and effective. I was seen by the on-site Nurse Practitioner, Ms Acreman, within 5 min of filling out the initial paperwork. Ms Acreman was patient, warm and extremely thorough with her examination. She explained everything she was doing and by the end of the visit was able to give me immediate relief for my breathing difficulty with a cortisone shot as well as prescriptions to treat the infection and the allergy symptoms that likely complicated the issue. My only disappointment is that they are not in my preferred doctor plan with my insurance, otherwise I would not hesitate to select Quick Care as my primary care provider.

My grand daughter seen them every two weeks. They monitor my multiple sclerosis and help control the pain. The last visit I had to wait because they were busy. He still gave me a thorough check up. They have a family practice clinic out patient department, a physiatric department for care and counseling and are adding an internal medicine residency. They have every thing you need under one roof because it is a teaching facility. The business office is fine. The billing department needs some work.

It was another 2+ hour wait at a walk-in clinic but there were at least 25 people in front of me when I got there. I would say they did a pretty decent job of serving everyone in a timely manner. The doctor--can't remember her name--was really nice and seemed to care fro my well being. Everything was nice and clean and would visit again but would definitely try to get there as soon as they open. As far as walk-in clinics go, it was a good visit but waiting for 2+ hours before even seeing the doctor is all the more reason to find a primary care physician.

It is a doc-in-a-box. I am quite pleased with them and I am satisfied. I go to whoever is available. They are good solid people. My husband goes there and our granddaughter, who we are raising, also goes there. They are friendly and they will take the time to explain things to us. Because of the way that it is set up, we don't always know who we are going to see, but we are aware of that when we use them, so it is difficult to rate a doctor. It is a brand new building and it's great. Sometimes we do have to wait.

The doctor I see here is very personable and I like her. They give me a prescription and shots too to speed up the process of healing and I really like that. It has been a good experience with them. The office is pretty busy, but, they are professional and clean.

After checking in and providing insurance identification I waited for 50-60 minutes. The staff admitted that they were busy that day and there would be a wait. After waiting I was seen by a technician that took my vitals and put me into a private exam room. After five minutes the doctor arrived and performed a perfunctory exam and prescribed meds. A nurse provided the injections and prescription and I was done. You won’t get the one-on-one treatment time you would expect from your family doctor but you will get appropriate treatment. I’d use AFC again for “weekend” wounds and illnesses.

Before anyone even listened to my chest, I was given a chest x-ray and a test for heart attack!  Treated as if I should not have been there since I wasn't having a heart attack, which I never thought I was.  Each time I have been there the billing has been incorrect and requires time to call and get straightened out.
