  • Over the years, I have had some harrowing experiences when I have faced computer malfunctions.  Just the thought of another telephonic tech support marathon made me cringe.  Until now.  This was the most pleasant computer repair encounter ever.  As I sat comfortably in my recliner, Jim worked his magic on my computer and taught me a few things while he was doing it.  Not only does my middle-aged computer run like a teenager again, I can surf with confidence knowing that he is just a phone call away.  Before you go buy a new computer (as I was about ready to do), call North Alabama Technical Services.  You will be glad you did!

  • They showed up, were here a couple of hours and did all the climbing and setting up.  We are very impressed and highly recommend them.  They do pressure washing in the non winter months, and they'll be doing that for us once it warms up again.

  • Comcast is the worse Cable Company to do business with. their rates are extremely high for a bundle package TV and Internet. they will randomly add premium channels to your monthly bill, like HBO and Disney channel without your approval. You have to constantly call customer support to adjust your monthly statement. customer service is terrible. I will never do business with Comcast again.

  • I preferred going to them, because my hairdresser move to another location. I went to the person she referred me to, so I looked up on Angie's List. This salon got wonderful comments, and I am very pleased with them. The hairdresser is just amazing and just very nice! It's a wonderful experience!

  • Member Comments: We contacted  A+ Welding to replace all of the wrought iron fence, light posts, and gates at the pool deck after our extensive landscape, stonework, and pool deck expansion.   They were  able to fit us  in on their  tight schedule so our yard would be ready for our family reunion.  Their estimate was precise and  the quality of work was excellent.  They were punctual and highly professional.  We called them  back a week later  to build another gate on our pool fence since the quality of work and performance on the first job was outstanding.  I will highly recommend Jason McNatt, the owner, and his company to anyone needing welding, fabrication, and restoration.  They are  honest, dependable,knowledgeable, and are hard workers.  They cleaned up after their jobs and won the approval of my Stone Landscaper for future recommendations as well.

  • Mrs. Bookout asked us to leave because she got a "bad vibe" from us after we arrived for our session. 

    I made an appointment on August 17th for a session on October 11th.  The Studio sent two emails with several pages of instructions, admonitions, Dos and Don'ts, an online contract, and an online questionnaire.  I paid $150 deposit and submitted the answers to the questionnaire.  The Studio called to confirm our appointment near the appointment date.  The Studio called again the day before our session to reschedule due to an injury to Mrs. Bookout.  We rescheduled to the 13th.  The Studio called again the night before our second appointment to reschedule again due to continued issues with the injury to Mrs. Bookout.  They had a cancellation and could fit us in on the 20th.

    The Studio called the night before our third appointment to confirm that we would arrive at our appointed time, unless Mrs. Bookout had to cancel due to the injury.  We should arrive at our scheduled time, unless we heard otherwise from The Studio.

    We arrived on time.  We brought our son, several suggested props, and all our Halloween costumes.  We spoke a few minutes with the assistant, the husband, and the photographer.  We signed our contract.  We asked how she was feeling since we were well aware of her medical issues.  We were led to the preparation room and were just settling in when Mr. Bookout came to tell us they would be refunding our deposit, but that Mrs. Bookout got a bad vibe from us and we had to leave.  My husband apologized and I gather my three bags and our son and walked out.

    If you are looking for an incredibly complicated, time consuming, and draining portrait experience, this is the small, small business for you.  If you give high maintenance and like to get high maintenance (and you never know who you are) than Mrs. Bookout is perfect for you.  If you do not require any professionalism and believe you can treat people any way you like as long as you have bible verses on your website, this is the egomaniac for you.

  • Jim was at our house within minutes of my call.  He took the desktop computer with him to work on that one first.  He brought it back two days later after which he took the laptop.  He returned the laptop in one day.  He is very personable, did a good job and spent time going over any questions or concerns that my husband and I had.  My computer is now working like a top and I am a happy camper.
