    Goodson, Dr. Allen W.
Dr. Goodson performed my first Total Knee Replacement in February of 2013. The surgery went well and I was up and walking with the aide of nurses the first day. There were weeks of rehab and overtime the right knee healed fully.  I could get around better but my left knee was still in very bad shape. Approximately spring of 2014, the left knee was replaced and I had the same experience as far as healing. Two years later now, I feel like a new person. I can't even recall not being able to walk up and down stairs or having trouble walking at all. I am very happy with Dr. Goodson's work and the wonderful people at TOC rehab in Madison, AL.

    The Orthopaedic Center
Found out leg was broken and rotator cuff was torn. Visit went very well and I was referred to Physical Therapy after my cast was removed. Great staff, good doctors, excellent care! I highly recommend TOC for care. Billing was a bit precarious as I was billed twice for the same visit, then billed again after insurance paid, but after several phone calls, the problem was corrected.

    Layton, Dr. Troy
Dr. Layton has several offices; one in Decatur and one in Athens. I go to his office here in Huntsville. I have been to the other two offices because he is in each office on certain days. I have an appointment with him on Thursday. I can say nothing but wonderful things about him. He is a very caring doctor. He does listen to you and takes into consideration your feelings and overall is a good doctor.

    Decatur Orthopaedic Clinic
The office staff is very friendly. I did not have to wait very long before being taken to an exam room. His nurse is very professional and friendly and puts you at ease. Dr. Rheil has been my doctor for many years now. He is treating me for problems with my knee. This visit was about my wrist and hand and the problem was handled in a professional manner. I am very confident going to Dr. Rheil and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Tindell was friendly and didn't make me feel rushed.  He ordered PT 3x week for 4 weeks, which is in the same building, they worked around my crazy work schedule and Mallory was awesome, as were all others who work there. My only complaint was the wait time for my follow up visit to see Dr. Tindell at the Madison office, an hour.

I had a knee replacement in October.  I visited in December for follow up. The surgery went very well and I am walking just fine now.

I had a labral tear in my left hip. I saw Dr. Franklin several times, as I had lots of questions and was very hesitant whether I should take the risks involved in this surgery or not. Dr. Franklin always patiently answered all my questions. After I decided to have the surgery, he repaired the tear and cleaned up the mess that was causing me so much pain that any kind of exercise or extended walking was impossible. Recovery was slow and not a lot of fun, but six months after the surgery I was definitely glad that I had had it done. Now, 9 months after surgery, I'm back at power walking, yoga, and martial arts (with restrictions). While the hip is not good as new (which was not to be expected and was not promised), I am doing great. Dr. Franklin obviously did a great job and I'm very glad that we have him here in Huntsville/Madison!

I continued to see the doctor and could tell my foot and ankle were getting better. Of course, the air boot quickly got old as summer approached and the weather warmed. The provider was able to make me inserts that I can wear in all my shoes to continue to allow my foot and ankle to be in the proper position and avoid future injuries. Overall, I was very pleased.

    Maddox, Dr. Philip A
He walks on water. He is a hand specialist and make no mistake, he really is. He is fantastic and I can bend my finger. He is a carpel tunnel magician. I didn't trust anybody for carpel tunnel because all I saw were people with huge scars so I put off having it done. My family doctor sent me to him and he did both of them a week apart and didn't take any stitches. I am so glad I waited. It has been the most relief not to have my hands go numb. I would go back to him without a doubt.

    Southern Joint Replacement Inst
Great appointment! We waited about 20 minutes before being called to the back. We met 3 nurses and assistants as well as Doctor who would perform the hip replacement surgery. Each individual explained a different aspect of the surgery and up to what to expect during physical therapy. We felt very comfortable and got all our concerns and questions fully answered.
