    Ferrell, Dr. James
I have been consulting him for the last 2 years. He is good. I usually tend to forget my appointment and when I reach there, he cracks a joke and finishes it. Initially in 2006, I bought a particular computer and was given an account for the same. Dr. Farrell also had an account with the same and by mistake, the company wrote that they would bill him instead of me, as we stayed in the same area. Then we had to write to them, that we were 2 different people and cleared the confusion. I will use his services in future.

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Michele Parker and her staff. They were all so pleasant. Dr. Parker was extremely knowledgable and talked about each step of the exam and what she looks for. She looks to the eye to tell if you might have other problems internally that effect your eye/eye sight. I have never had such a thorough eye exam and I learned so much about the eye. I highly recommend them.

He has lots of goofy sayings and jokes, but he is super efficient and very pleasant! I've moved waaaay away from his area, but I will make the 25 mile drive because he is that good.

Exam went very well. My eyes were diolated before I pick out my glasses. If you intend to purchase glasses, go in ahead of time and pick out the frames.

I have been a patient of Dr. Derivaux for over 20 years, I was first referred to him by Lenscrafters (at the time it was OptiWorld) because I registered high pressure in my eyes.  Since i was in my 20s at the time, that was an alarm signal!  He was able to diagnose the cause for my high pressure and correct the issue with laser iridotomy of both eyes.  I was very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Derivaux, because relatively few eye surgeons at the time were using the iridotomy to correct my early pigmentary dispersion syndrome (which was causing the high pressure).  The procedure worked perfectly and my pressure remains in normal range without my having ever had to take pressure reducing drops.  I have been a patient of Dr. Derivaux ever since. This most recent visit was a routine eye exam, I go at least once a years, sometimes at six month intervals depending on findings.  I think I did a visual field test this time, and i know i was dilated.  The office staff and the technicians are friendly and knowledgable.  The waiting room is large and pleasant with fish tank, bathrooms, and even a small windowed room for smaller children to play while they (or their parent) wait.  The wait times can be long (they recommend you set aside 3 hours), either in the outer waiting room, or inside waiting areas, but you have to realize a lot of that is because you may be using several different testing areas, and some of the time is waiting for drops in your eyes to take effect. Dr. Derivaux was pleasant and efficient as always, and took the time to re-conduct some of the tests personally to verify the results, in addition to the tests that he always performs himself.  I would recommend him to anyone who needs an opthalmologist!

Staff was extremely friendly. Dr. Cox was attentive and knowledgeable. At one time I had an emergency and was able to get an appointment almost immediately that day. I highly recommend this office.

    Ferrell, Dr. James
Overall very pleased with the experience. The Doctor was most professional yet very encouraging and took great pains to explain both my current status and potential future problems that might occur. I did get a new set of glasses which are working well for me. Only minor glitch was the office billing did not correctly account for the likely insurance coverage so I had to pay an additional small charge about a month later.
