    Cheryl Bazzle MD
I am over 40 so my health isn't as stellar as it used to be.  I liked  that I first visited with a nurse practitioner who spent a lot of time with me going over my medical history.  It was apparent that she visited with Dr. Bazzle before Dr. Bazzle came in the room to meet me.  That is a nice touch, as it made me feel like I was listened to.  Dr. Bazzle's bedside manner is fantastic and she made me feel comfortable.  Dr. Bazzle addressed my health concerns and sent me for some blood work (I had to go to another clinic for that).  She also referrals to other doctors for specific health check-ups.  Her staff even set appointments for me and the referred doctor's offices called me to confirm my appointments.  I was very impressed. I have referred my husband to see Dr. Bazzle for his annual check-up.

I like about the fact that he comes in and talks to me. He does not rush. He walks in with a computer. He is always pushing things around, so his patients can see what he is doing. I can see what is there on the screen. If I have any questions, he will show it to me. He first comes in, and he always talks to me about anything. He tries to put people at ease.

    Williams, Dr. Arthur M.
Dr. Williams conducted the physical, answering questions as we went. He made some simple suggestions for maintaining my reasonably good health. Dr. Williams is always friendly and expresses genuine concern for my health and well being.

    John Fanning MD
concentrate on anything due to having to blot my eye tears.. I contacted Dr, John Fanning and went in that day. He looked at my eyes, asked me if my vision had been checked by the eye doctor for pressure and clarity and then gave me a steroid shot and a decreasing dosage of predinasone pills to reduce the swelling and inflammation. Within a day I could feel the swelling going down and the tears reducing from the inflammation. I took 8 days of pills and improved daily. 2 days after completing the pills, I visited his office again because the eyes were still minimally inflamed and getting worse again. He prescribed a second dose of predinasone pills. Dr. Fanning is a one of a kind doctor. Calling for an appointment, you can always get in that day. If your appointment is at 10 AM you usually get in to see him at 10 or very shortly thereafter. He must do his own research on drugs because you rarely see a drug representative in his office, and they do not delay patients seeing the doctor. Once in the examination room, he is very attentive to your symptoms and conditions and empathetic to your situation. He ask direct questions and follows with information directly related to your problem. He is always very well informed. You develop a trust in his knowledge and understanding of the situation. He then states what he can do for you and helps you understand what to expect. He then ask if you have other questions or concerns. His office staff is polite, friendly and helpful. They check you out and you are off. Once the insurance is coordinated you get a bill for the copay. I have never had a finance problem with the office. Their bills are accurate and prompt. Dr Fanning is the kind of doctor you wish all the doctors could be like.

    Fahey, Dr. David
He was pretty knowledgeable about what I needed at the time. He is friendly and he listens. He remembers certain things about me so I don't have to repeat it every time. It takes a little while to get in to see him.

I saw her for a follow up because I was experiencing the same symptoms. She is very thorough and you do not feel rushed. I am comfortable talking to her  and she listens. She does not produce notes while I am saying something. Those are the things that matter to me. I can discuss the types of medicine and she is patient and a good doctor. I do not wait long.

    James Byrd MD
My primary physician retired and a friend told me that Dr. Byrd was starting his practice in town. He is young so I won't have to worry about him retiring. He will always take time to talk to you. You never feel rushed. I have known him since he was a kid and he has become a very good doctor. He refers you when he feels it is appropriate but he keeps up with exactly what is going on with you medically. I feel very well taken care of.

He is never late. Even though he has a full schedule, he is never late for more than five or ten minutes. I would definitely use his services again in the future.

    Cheryl Bazzle MD
Dr. Bazzle is one of the best doctors that I have been to, and by far the best since I moved to Huntsville. She seems genuinely concerned about me and seems concerned about my opinions and what I have to say. Her office takes care of everything I need such as electronic Rx fills, appointment reminders, etc. She even gave me her email address so I could send her my numbers that I was checking. The lady at the front is absent minded and doesn't focus on details, so I sometimes have to work with her to make things right, but she acknowledges her mistakes. Everyone else there is very friendly. I had some bloodwork done and instead of making me set up (and pay for) another appointment for her to read it to me, she let me stop by when it was convenient for me and had a nurse explain the results without charging me for another visit. She always looks for another option than just writing a prescription because she understands that it's bad to just pile on the pills instead of looking to treat the actual problem, but if trying another option doesn't work, or if I just ask her for pills, she's willing to write the Rx - as long as it makes me healthier.
