    Clinton Ray MD
Surgery was performed on December 8th and after 3 months post-op and 2 months of physical therapy I still was having a tremendous amount of pain. On March 8th following an MRI, we decided to pursue a second surgery on March 9th where it was determined that the joint had deteriorated even further. The jount was thoroughly cleaned up removing all signs of deterioration. Ibhave been practically pain free since witin a week after second surgery. I highly recommend Dr Ray. He is very thorough, cares very much for his patients and has a great bedside manner.

    Anniston Orthopaedic Assoc
Had a quick and proper diagnosis. Received the proper medication (an injection in my inflammed area of my foot. Now, over a month later, the foot is still doing great. I use Dr. Michael Weidmer, who is a wonderfully kind and caring doctor and an excellent diagnostician; however, I would not be hesitate to use any of the other physicians in this clinic. Another nice thing about this clinic is the extra large, clean, waiting area. There is even a hospitality hostess that offers coffee, sodas, and water to the patients as they wait. I've never seen this type of service in ANY medical facility! Many offer coffee machines, the Anniston Ortho actually has a lady that greets the patients and offers them their choice of beverages. Can't say enough good things about this wonderful facility.

Dr. Ray explains everything that he has done in surgery, including pictures inside my shoulder to show his precise handiwork. He had me come to his office frequently after surgery so he can evaluate the healing process. Physical therapy is usually needed, and Dr. Ray's staff of therapist are just across the hall, and they are wonderfully professional. His office's billing practices and the people that deal with billing, are also great, and will work with you as much as possible. I'm very happy with my experiences with this doctor, and his staff. I also need to add that ,for the women, this doctor is easy on the eyes!

Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine: Ray Clinton M MD
My mom and my aunt have used him before. It was a good experience. It was comfortable. Everything was great. He is direct to the point. He explains everything. He doesn't waste your time. He doesn't sugarcoat anything. We only had one issue after the surgery and because of that issue we probably wouldn't go back to him.

    Stewart, Dr. William R.
I love Dr. Stewart and Northeast Orthopedics. He has treated me for a shoulder problem in the past. Now I am seeing him for a wrist problem. He is very thorough and takes time to explain things in an easy to understand way. If I end up having to have surgery, I will not hesitate to go to him.

    Lemak Sports Medicine
His office is friendly, efficient, and timely. Even surgeries are as timely as can be expected. I love Dr. Larry. He will probably retire soon, but his patients will be in great hands with his son, David Lemak, whom I and many members of my family have seen.

It took two weeks from the first visit to schedule my surgery. I am so far impressed by the service I am getting. The doctors are curious and efficient. Billing is fast with no hassle. There is one lady that works the front counter that acts like she is always being bothered. I am happy with my experience so far.

    The Hughston Clinic
Dr. Fernicola quickly diagnosed what was wrong with my shoulder and also for the weakness in my arm. A surgery is already scheduled for February and I feel confident the issues will be fixed.

This visit was the for a followup on a broken fifth metatarsal bone in the left foot as well as a stress fracture in the left ankle. While the fractures did NOT show up on the initial xrays done in November, Dr Ray felt pretty sure that I had a non-displaced break in the metatarsal bone as well as the stress fracture in the ankle. He made the determination by hands on manipulating of the foot and by my responses to pain, as well as swelling and discoloration. He went ahead and put me in the ortho boot although the xrays didn't confirm his suspicion. He told me that with a "non-displaced" break it isn't unusual not to be able to see it immediately on the xray, but as it begins to heal the bone will separate and allow new bone growth to take place, at which time it will show up on xray. He told me that there was nothing that he could do surgically and that he wanted me to stay in the boot for 6 weeks. When I returned for my followup visit on 12/15/2014 the foot was much better from having it rest in the boot. The xrays on that day did, in fact, show new bone growth which indicates that there was indeed a break (just as he suspected). I am 3 weeks out from being out of the boot and have experienced only minimal discomfort (mainly from over use during the days leading up to Christmas). I am very pleased with the care that Dr Ray provides. He is an excellent doctor, has an wonderful bedside manner, and is very fun loving. His staff is phenomenal. The wait time for an appointment is relatively short and the wait time in his office upon arriving is usually no more than 20-30 minutes. Dr Ray is very thorough, and is not "knife happy". He will exhaust other options before resorting to surgery.  With that said, if you do end up needing surgery, he is very serious and adamant about after care and physical therapy (if needed). He wants his patients to do well, and will let them know if he isn't happy with their progress or lack of effort in recovering! He is not only my doctor, but has also become a very dear friend. He comes highly recommended!

Do be on time and cancel if you can't make an appointment. Wear comfortable clothing - if you are going there for a complaint with your legs/knees wear sweats or shorts - they do xrays on site. Do make sure to review your billing information both there and when it comes in the mail; the only issue I have ever had with NEO has been with the office administration personnel; not the medical staff.
