They understood the job and the possible problems. They explained everything carefully, gave me a written estimate and projected time frame. When problems with the house were uncovered, they again offered a solution, gave me a written estimate and stayed on track. They addressed all my questions and concerns. They did everything they said they would with professionalism and courtesy. They promised to continue working until they finished once they started and they did. I would hire them again for my home. Cleaned up after themselves! It’s hard to believe this process of connecting with Angie’s List, finding a company, getting estimates, and project completion, was less than a week! ABudget Siding & WindowsAs I decided to add siding to my house I didn’t know where to go so my first move was to go to Angies list. First, I called all the big companies and got a quote from them which was out of my budget then I found Rick, and this company and hired them for the job. I got a reasonable price which ended up being way under the other quotes I received. I read the reviews and decided to use Rick and his company. Overall impressed with the job, my house looks brand new and the craftsmanship was excellent. Definitely would recommend to everyone. His work is as good and even better than other companies. Rick is an A+ class person, he is always answering his phone and stands behind his work, and he fixes the wrong. If you need vinyl siding call Rick before anyone else you will not be disappointed.- Victor S.

ASouthFace Renovations LLC.Large and tall 100 year + old house on Birmingham's Southside with large exterior surface area that probably had not been touched for 40-50 years. Southface removed existing aluminum siding, repaired/replaced rotten wood, replaced flashing and fascia boards, restored original siding and boards where needed, installed new porch lights and fans, cleaned stone, cladding and repainted everywhere. Took longer than expected but as work was on outside, was not too concerned and there were also delays due to weather conditions. Left work site very clean and tidy at end of job. Larry, Ivan and the crew were great to work with, great communication with frequent check-ins. Very responsive to my concerns. Cost more than original estimate but they ran into some unexpected repairs and did some additional work that was not included in original estimate. I was impressed by how they looked for ways to save money where they could and asked at each step where they had to spend extra to fix something properly. Estimate was much more reasonable than others I had obtained in the past. Overall I am very happy and would use again.- Cathy F.

AAs always, Joel and his crew did outstanding work. Pricing was perfect for us - we weren't expecting to be able to put in the screened porch yet. The crews that came out to work not only did fantastic work, but were courteous and aware anytime they needed to move their vehicles for one of us to leave the house for any reason. Good, friendly communication. Good resolution of any miscommunications. I'm not a carpenter or a roofer or an electrician or a plumber, but all of their work is solid. Joel is a quick to come out for a quote and very knowledgeable. And he's also saved us a buck or two when he could. I also loved finding out this time that he sources materials locally from smaller businesses. I already trusted him and his work, and that was just icing on the cake, so to speak. Anyone who's seen it has loved it. We've been approached by a neighbor asking about the work because they watched it go up. My uncle, who worked with Sears for 40+ years in their repairs department is very hard to please, and he practically gushed about the handiwork. Ultimately, Joel has helped us on multiple occasions and hasn't steered us wrong yet.

AI had an old, painted beadboard ceiling on my screened in porch that was starting to buckle and needed replacing. I called Johnny and discussed the project with him, sent pictures of the existing ceiling and also pictures of ceilings that I liked. Within a few days, he came out to the house and provided an estimate. He scheduled a work date the next week, delivered the materials, and had the project completed in one day (he originally though it would take two days)! They returned the following day to stain it a beautiful natural color. Very prompt, professional and hard working. I’m very happy with the results, and I will certainly use him again in the future!
