Since 2000, on several occasions, my wife has used the services of this hospital for periodic treatment of her chronic heart condition. The latest occasion was April, 2008. The doctors and entire staff at this medical facility are excellent. We have nothing but praise for the services provided. The list includes the often unmentioned services of housekeeping and other so-called "menial" services as well as the more critical services of a surgical team. The facilities have always been very clean and the nurses, doctors, various technicians, dietary personal, housekeepers, security personnel and surely some other unnamed person(s)/position(s)--ALL have been very attentive and efficient.

    Thomas Hospital
All the employees and medical staff which interacted with me were professional. I was assigned doctor since I was out of my normal network. The doctor I was assigned was an employee of the hospital but took care of me as if he were regular doctor. I spent 3 days in the hospital and am really happy with the care I received.

    Thomas Hospital
The last time I was in Thomas Hospital was several years ago when my husband had surgery. The patient rooms were small, not very clean with poorly controlled temperature. The cleaning staff was extraordinarily loud and disruptive, The nurses' aides and nurses were not very attentive. This time I was in the new wing on the surgical floor. The rooms were spacious, nicely designed, sparkling clean with large windows with a view and individually controlled thermostats. The cleaning staff was quiet, friendly and efficient. The nurses' aides were compassionate, attentive and professional; the nurses gave me a great deal of confidence in their competence and concern.

We've always gone to this hospital ever since we came here. I'm partial to them because they're convenient and because our doctors are in the building. The nurses and staff are always helpful and pleasant. They always try to do everything they can for you. They also have a lot of educational forum to try and help patients. They even have a wellness program for seniors that allows us to use their fitness area where there's a lot of fellowship; it's also manned by physical therapists and nurses which is good if anything happens. They also have a senior spirit group which has monthly talks on various topics. You're given opportunities to voice your opinion to the hospital if you not happy with what's going on. They try their hardest to help keep you at ease.

My whole family has used their service quite often. We have been going there on an emergency basis. They are very efficient. They get down to the point and tell us about what's going on.

Our experience with them was good. They see us on time, and the nurses are good. It's clean, so that's one of the biggest things. The staff is good. Once we got admitted, we did not have to go through the emergency room. As she is high risk, they immediately sent her to the maternity ward, so that was very good. They took good care of her. The emergency room nurse said Ihad to leave her there and I said I am not. I said that if I have to take her to the third floor, I will. So somebody else overheard that and said I could take her up there. It's the closest hospital to us. Even if it was somewhere else and not closer to us, we are using that hospital because of its reputation and what we've experienced in the past. With regard to punctuality, it's hard to get through in the emergency room. Their bedside manner is very good. With regard to effectiveness of treatment, it has a little left to be desired, because she had kidney stones and there was very little they could do for her as she was pregnant. The fourth time we went in, if it had not been for two PRN nurses, they would have probably sent her home again. But they realized what was going on, they got an urologist in there and they just had to wait it out. But they did get her medicine to ease her coverage of pain until those stones pass. She still has four more, but she did pass two of them. But if it hadn't been for those two nurses, it wouldn't have turned out like it did. There is no problem with the billing and administration.

    Providence Hospital
It went well. I described the procedure under My Dr. Charles Jones review. I have been in this hospital several times with my wife as the patient. We have had no complaints. The Catholic Sisters are not there anymore. I felt safer and better when they were.
