New driveway looks very good. It was poured four days ago, so I will drive on it, for the first time, today. Mr. Campbell and his employees were very efficient and made sure everything was done correctly and cleaned up.

I contacted Mr. Campbell to inquire about a driveway expansion job.  He responded quickly and provided an estimate and responded in a timely manner to questions and options about concrete upgrades.  I later contacted him to confirm I wanted to move forward and get the work scheduled.  This is when things went off track.  I told him to just work it in sometime as I was in no big hurry.  After a couple months of no contact I reached out to him and was told his Mother was in the hospital.  I responded I understand family comes first and to just let me know when he could get the work scheduled.  Fast forward three more months and I contact him again to ask if he still wants to do the work or not.  I had been very patient and simply wanted to know if I should move on to another contractor.  He ensured me he did in fact want and intend to do the job.  It's been almost three months and I've not heard a word from him.  If you want the job done I would look elsewhere.

    Cahaba Plumbing

I couldn't be more pleased with the work that Cahaba Plumbing did for me. Jan (owner) stopped a couple days prior to the date when the work was to be performed in order to see where I (and wife) wanted the laundry tub to go and what it entailed.  After closely looking at the location (in the mud room, opposite of the half bath in the man cave), he strongly recommended an alternative location in the garage, close to the main sewer line and easier access to the water lines (not too mention the fact that none of the dry-wall would have to be cut into).  On the day of the install, Jan sent one of his men over to do the work, and as I expected he (I believe his name was Greg) was very professional and went right to work. Even though he didn't have to, Greg secured my cheap laundry tub (bought one that had all the connections) to the garage wall and to the concrete floor. He did have to go out over lunch to get a couple of connectors/parts that he didn't have with him, but I wasn't in a hurry and in the end the laundry tub install was properly and efficiently.  I will definitely hire Cahaba Plumbing again without thinking twice.

The job was done well.  The finished product matches the existing drive.  Of all the drives that were widened, mine looks the best.  They also moved my mailbox and set it in concrete.
I had requested estimates from other contractors.  Campbell's responded quickly and had one of the best prices.   They did not try to hit me for any additional charges.

The service was excellent. We had purchased a big deal but after it was all said and done, it was 1700 dollars worth of work. They are probably the best contractor I have every used. His prices are normally very competitive, he found a brick that was out of place underneath my window and he fixed it for free. He is very good.

I purchased a $149.00 coupon for $300.00 of masonry work. Waited for quite with no response from Antonio, even called Angie's List and complained. Antonio stopped by my house on crutches and all bandaged up. He almost lost his life. He was in bad shape. He apologized for not getting in touch with me, but after seeing him, I know I was not on his mind. I told him I would wait about two months for him to get better and bring his team over. I showed him a drainage problem that two other people had attempted to fix. I am very glad I waited. He continued my retaining wall but lower it to 30 inches by 30 linear ft long, continuing with a stone drainage way to the street. He put in three pallets of grass that can grow in the shade
and contoured my ground so the rain water would not run to the house. He put in three 4'' French drain pipes behind the wall that carries the water off the hill to the street, installed a large catch basin that feeds into my new 12'' drain. We have had some rain and it works. I now have an area on this side of the house that I can use. This was for $6160.00. I then took him inside the house where he fix sheetrock and painted. one laundry room and installed cabinets in another laundry room. He even painted my Trey ceiling. This I paid him $1000.00. We are very pleased with everything Antonio and his team did. I heard the expression " Good things come to those that wait", I am so glad we waited. I agree with the customer that said you should have an A+. I am going to hold on to this number.

I received a flyer in my mailbox so I called them and asked for a bid on some work that I needed to have done.  The first bid came in at $2300.  After negotiating, we got down to $1000 to replace portions of the sidewalk out front and repoint a retaining wall outside by my driveway.  They did the work but they didn't do a good job.  The concrete on the sidewalk doesn't match.  The retaining wall wasn't done well.  They missed several places and left cement on the bricks so it looks bad.  I called them with the concern and they never came back.  Jeff said that he would be back with a solution to clean off the retaining wall but I'm still waiting to hear from them.  I would like to have them come back to repair the issues.  It's bad business for a company to not finish their work.

Antonio installed a rock wall next to my driveway. I gave him pictures of how I wanted the wall to look and he gave me a more than fair quote.  He and his crew dug the footer, placed the block with mortar, then faced the block with stone. I could not be more pleased with the appearance of his work. If Angie's List gave an option for "A+", then Antonio would get that.  He was prompt, courteous, and did exactly what he said he would do at the time he said he would perform the work. After seeing how the rock wall turned out, I then employed Antonio to pour a concrete slab as a foundation for a small garage project.  Again, his work is exemplary. I won't waste time trying to get quotes or shopping my business after my experience with Mr. Garza. An emphatic "two thumbs up" and a huge vote of thanks to Antonio and his crew.

    Alabama Pavement Services, Inc.
They are terrible. The seams and edges were irregular. It looks like they pulled the wood out where they made the seams. They pulled out chunks of the concrete. There are little chunks out of it on the sides. When they finished the work they put the excess concrete in my yard and covered it up with a little soil. When I started to dig to put some plants out, there is a 3-foot area that is concrete that I couldn't even dig up. I had gotten another estimate and they had the lowest price so I'm thinking that maybe I should never take the lowest one. The quality was poor. He did always call me back on time and he talked a good game. The finished product was not what it should have been. Their professionalism was poor.

Kevin was great to work with and I will definitely use his services again. He gave an accurate estimate over the phone and wasnt punctual and efficient while he was here.
