    EAST UNIVERSITY VETERINARY
We've been using them for twenty years.  They're fabulous.  The wait time is good.  They took the cat back as soon as I could get her in the door.  I had an appointment and I was on time.  We occasionally have to wait, but that is when they have an emergency patient, that takes more time.

    MOORES MILL ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Every time Rudy tries to commit suicide, the staff at MMAH pull him back from the brink. They are professional, caring, committed. Every single member of the staff has the best and sweetest attitude toward the animals. I could not be happier. I had to have Rudy seen at the vet school for a few things and when I tell them who my vet is they smile and say, "We like them". My sister used to work for the vet school, and I know that means something.

They're good groomers. She is very efficient. She does care about the puppies. She is very professional. Her staff is good and responsive on the phone. They'll let you know if they can get you in and when they can get you in. If there's any kind of problem that you're having, they want to know if you want special shampoo or whatever. I never have a problem. Her pricing is fair.

    Rider Laura Dr DVM
She is a good veterinarian. I have known her for a long time. She is always there for me. It gets pretty expensive for an older person. She is very clear and precise on  what you need to do and when you need to do it. My dog got attacked by a German Shepherd. It was on a Sunday night. I had to go to the small animal clinic. After we came back home, Dr. Rider took over. She got him well and he healed. She has some small children and she is not on call. She lets you know upfront that she is not on call. I trust her immensely.

this business implements a very strong push to upsell items and services you don't want. managed to turn a $75.00 service into $125.00 by adding items without consent. This is the "big box, mass merchandiser" of veterinary care in this area. I have since moved to another vet that has a lot more compassion and spends adequate time with each animal.

I have used them for four years. There is no one else that I would trust with my pets. Rebecca is ALWAYS available and bends over backwards to help. Even my dog who had separation issues liked going there.
Boarding is about $15/night and you get a free bath with 3 nights. Nail trims are free any time. I have been extremely pleased. I have a foster failure from them and would go thru them anytime. Rebecca is an excellent resource on animal care and behavior. Her staff is kind and compassionate as well. You won't go wrong using them!!

    For Paws Boutique
The first time my dog was groomed, everything seem to go fine. I talked with the workers and asked if there were any problems since I was a new customer, and was told no.
I continued to bring my dog there until the last two visits. Both times, after getting her back, she had cuts on her forelimbs. The first time I shrugged it off and thought it was my dog being klutzy, but the second time I noticed cuts that weren't there the day before. No one mentioned that my dog was nervous, scared, poorly behaved or anything, and no one mentioned the cuts/scrapes.
    I haven't been back.

    PetVet Animal Hospital
All went very well. The dogs had not had their nails trimmed is sometime and I thought they would have to be sedated at an extra cost. This was not the case. I was told in advance that the people that do this work are very good and it is rare they have to sedate the animal. They were right! Thank god since I am cheap according to my family.

    Opelika Animal Hospital
The prices at Opelika Animal Hospital are not so good but they are very professional. The doctor there is extraordinary. He has taken care of 3 of our animals from birth to death. He is a good man and he is worth the price that we pay. The people he has are also all very good. The only thing is that you have to wait a lot when you go there.

    ALL CREATURES VETERINARY CLNC
Took my dog in, fear of worm infestation. I called ahead of time and was told an office visit was $25. I took my dog in and was told he was indeed infested. I told them I had a budget to stick within, $140 was what I had on me. That was my biggest mistake. They took a fecal sample and I waited. The VET came in and never even touched my dog. She stood there and talked to me about how infested my dog was. I was so concerned, I agreed to do additional tests. When all was said and done, after negotiating, adding this and deleting that, the tab came to $143.10. I told them I only had $140 on me. They actually made me leave my dog, sign a paper, go home and get $3.10 and come back for my dog. REALLY??
I also wanted the VET to check out my dogs leg trembling. After I returned with the measley $3.10, I asked the girl at the desk if the VET looked at it, and said YES and pointed at her head - indicating that my dog had brain issues, or something. I guess I'm supposed to know by her body language. Again, I never even saw the VET touch my dog, let alone examine him.
After I left, I looked at the bill and they had charged me $35 for the office visit. I called and questioned them, the same girl at the front desk told me that my situation was more complicated. Well guess what - I PAID FOR THE COMPLICATED! An office visit is an office visit.
I would like to say that I had to return again approx 5 weeks later as my dog still showed symptoms of worm infestation. He did indeed test positive AGAIN! They asked me why I didn't bring him in for a 2 week follow up - well - that would be because nobody told me I needed to !
I can't believe they held my dog hostage for $3.10.
