    JACKSON HEATING & AIR
Was able to get someone out the same day I called. They called for approval on price and fixed it the same day. I thought they had a reasonable service call fee. They were courteous and proffessional. They billed me for services and I was able to pay by phone.

Paul and his team do great work and more importantly he really treats you with respect. The job is kind of unconventional because we have to do it in phases, as the owner I am doing most of the work on the apartments. I appreciate Paul working with me along the way.

    Ledlow's Heating & Air Cond
Mr Ledlow arrived on time. I explained that the fan on my A/C unit was starting to occasionally make some noise. The unit is 16 years old, and with the high temperatures we've had lately I was afraid it might go out during a really hot day. He quickly started to diagnose the problem. I asked questions as he worked and he made sure I understood his answers. As it turned out, the fan motor was in the early stages of failure. Mr Ledlow left to get a new one and returned shortly. He installed the new one quickly. Since he was here, I asked if he would check my freon level just to be sure it was alright (if I needed more, I would like for him to do it now while he was here rather than me have to call him back at a later date). He checked it and said my freon level was fine. I've been contemplating upgrading my A/C system. As I said, it's 16 years old and needs occasional maintenance. I asked Mr Ledlow about his thoughts on this. He told me that my system was working fine and he didn't think that I needed to replace it right now. I've been preparing for the day that a repairman tells me that I need to purchase a new system. It's not a cheap thing, so I was waiting for him to tell me that I needed a new XYZ123 system that would cost me so much. I hinted several times during his visit about replacing my system, but he repeatedly told me that my system was fine for now. He would spec out one for me if I wanted, but my current system was fine. Where I'm going with this is that I gave him several opportunities to tell me that I needed a new system. However, he told me that my current system was fine. Honesty! Imagine that. He didn't try to sell me something that I don't currently need. The man arrived on time, was very polite, answered all my questions and when given the opportunity to sell me something that I don't currently need he was honest and told me the truth. He gave me a discount for finding him on Angie's List. He charged me for a service call and the replaced fan motor. If you're looking for someone like this then search no more. I will definitely hire him in the future for all my A/C work.

    Ledlow's Heating & Air Cond
This was a bit of a puzzle to diagnose all the problems with this unit, but Bruce Ledlow stuck with it and ultimately got to resolution. I appreciate Bruce's willingness to come out multiple times, including evenings and weekends, to complete the necessary repairs.

Jackson Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.
The one thing they could do better is making the cost of air conditioners lower. I didn't have any problem with what they did. They were cheaper then anyone else I got a quote from, for the same stuff. There were 3 workers off and on that were here. They said we should enjoy our new unit a lot better than what we had before, and if we had any problems, to give them a call.

Personnel were on time, courteous and professional.  Knowledgeable in my requirements in a system that would suit my needs and installed during a very busy time (Thanksgiving week).  Great work ethic.

    Energy Savers of Georgia Inc
My experience with Energy Savers started with having them look at and service my old heat pump.  They've always been very prompt and professional.  One thing I like is that I see the same contractors for servicing every time.  They remember the system and I don't have to catch them up on what's been going on.  A small leak developed into a large leak in the inside coil of my heat pump, which was an R-22 unit.  After considering the pricing of repair vs. new, I chose to go with a new unit.  I looked around and chose to stay with Energy Savers because of how they had done service in the past.  As expected, the old unit died during peak season.  The unit had lost almost all the refrigerant.  After signing on for the new unit, because they couldn't come for a few days, they refilled my old unit.  It would have cost quite a bit, and yes I know they still made money, but it was a nice touch and I was very glad to be cool again.
The install itself was really quick (less than a day), and I was back to having AC.  I really like the unit.  It really made a huge difference on cooling and heating costs.  A leaky system costs more to operate, but when you can go through a summer and not hit $100 on your power bill, I call that a win.
The folks at Energy Savers have always been very flexible, very responsive, and trustworthy.

    Above N Beyond Mechanical, Llc.
They did fine for me. I don't have any complaints. I would recommend them. The furnace inspection was $40 and the replacement of the limit switch in the furnace was $200, I believe. They did a good job on the furnace inspection. It was certainly inexpensive. They were definitely responsive. They came when they said they would.

    Ledlow's Heating & Air Cond
I'd had my lower system refreshed with Freon last early summer.  It had lasted during the hot months, but leaked to a below functional level during the winter months (heat strips kept us from knowing it had failed).  Once the weather warmed up, it was apparent that It was not cooling.  I did not want to spend more money on a 20+  year old system, so Bruce set me  up with a new unit with a 10 year warranty.  He checked the upstairs  unit as part of his service and found it very low on Freon as well.  He did some more checking and adjustments before recharging the system. Bruce was very concerned with our satisfaction, and took great care of our needs. I have a new HVAC provider now, and am happy with my experience.

They were very professional and tried to find out if it was under warranty.  When they found out it was not they were able to fix it for me for a price that was very reasonable.  Will definitely call them again when I need them.
