    Dixie Nails and Spa
Great! I've been having my nails done for 27 years, at many different places, but Dixie Nails (in Huntsville, AL) is the absolute BEST! They can do all kinds of nails - lots of things that other nail salons cannot do. I did a google search looking for a place that could do new types of nails & that's how I found them. At this time, this salon is the only one, in Huntsville, that advertised what specialty. They can also speak English.

    Beyond Nail Spa
I have been to at least seven nail salons in the Huntsville/Madison area and I will keep coming back here.  Kim is a wonderful manicurist and kind person.  She maintains high standards for her salon and is guiding the other manicurist in the salon.  Highly recommended.

It was GREAT!  I didn't have an appointment and they got me right in.  They brought me a bottle of water and told me to relax in the massage/pedicure chair.  This is the ONLY place I have seen where they use a plastic liner in the foot tub.  The business is owned by a Vietnamese couple and their English is very good.  There were no awkward silences.  I really like supporting a family as opposed to a franchise.  They are the only two employees so if they are each with a customer when you arrive you may have to wait a little while.  On the other hand, they are still a new business and are rarely busy at the same time.

    WORLD NAILS & TANNING
Very appreciative hugs for Tina! Besides 3 recent tanning visits to World Nails & Tanning, I also had a French manicure w/gel and a pedicure w/polish. Tina provided both services I had done for my son's upcoming wedding. I had never had a pedicure before and only had it done because I would be wearing sandals during much of the wedding trip. However, I surprised myself by loving every moment of it. Tina did an outstanding job during the foot bath to make me less self-conscious and with the polish she selected and carefully applied. Unfortunately, my fingernails are short and weak by most standards, but again Tina excelled in giving them the lovely oval shape I desired, and the French gel was expertly applied. I cannot compliment Tina near enough on her patience and skill. My husband also loved the results, and we both feel it was money well spent. I also received numerous compliments from family and friends who immediately noticed my uncharacteristically beautiful fingernails and cute toes. Thank you, Tina, for helping this groom's mother look even better with your caring help than I know I would have without it!

It is a great place, and they do a wonderful job.  They have moved into a beautiful new location.  They are very personable and caring.  Their price is very reasonable.  I will always use them as long as they are there.

    QUEENS NAILS
I called ahead for an appointment, and spoke with Tom. He was very knowledgeable of the services offered and the prices, and most important, he UNDERSTOOD what I was looking for, even though I needed one nail fixed and strengthened, but not the others. I asked when he personally was free to do a mani-pedi. He gave me an appointment and told me he could easily fix the broken nail and strengthen the others too (turns out, this was the lacquer procedure). I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by a room full of friendly, smiling faces. I really felt like they enjoy their customers, which for some reason, is RARELY found in nail shoppes. I had a wonderful pedicure. Tom was brilliantly professional and friendly, and he did not skimp on anything - materials, elbow grease, or massage. He even had a terrific callous removal gel, which I've never had at a pedicure place. When the pedi was done, he painted my toes French, using the paint-the-white-on-and-erase method to give me even, perfectly curved, natural looking white "smiles." During my manicure, he also did not skimp as so many salons do. He even explained the steps as he was doing them. The nail lacquer procedure was a lot like getting gel nails put on (paint, put under the UV light, paint, put under the UV light) but there were no glued on tips, and the result was MUCH slimmer and more natural looking than fake nails. At the end, when I paid by debit, you have to add the tip before they run it through the machine, and if I hadn't thought to ask, he was going to let me walk right out of there without saying anything. What a gracious and delightful bunch! Best things about the place: 1. Everyone understands when you speak, and is sensitive to what YOU want done. 2. Everyone is friendly; it's not somber in there. 3. Customers are treated like clients; you don't feel like you're a product in a factory with five nail techs rotating out your service

Treated upon arriving by receptionist, given green tea and a hand massage while my daughter had her haircut. Neck massage while hot towel wrapped on deep conditioner. Stylist gave a great cut and styled to my preferences while explaining how to do it at home. great experience!

    The Village Salon LLC
I STARTED GOING TO THE VILLAGE SALON DUE TO A GROUP ON I GOT FOR MANICURES AND PEDICURES. NOW I'M HOOKED! THEY HAVE GREAT PEOPLE WORKING THERE THAT KNOW WHAT THERE DOING AND THEY ARE NOT AN ASSEMBLY LINE LIKE MOST PLACES IN TOWN. THEY DO ALL KINDS AND TYPES OF MANICURES AND PEDICURES. BUT, THE BEST PART TO ME IS THE DESIGNS THEY CAN DO FOR YOU ON THAT SPECIAL OCCASSION OR JUST BECAUSE. THEY HAVE A VERY TALLENTED TEAM THAT CAN DO DIFFERENT DESIGNS WITH EASE. ALMOST AS SIMPLE AS BRINGING IN A PICTURE AND HAVING THEM DO IT. I HAVE TWO FAVORITE GIRLS I USE AND WILL KEEP GOING TO THEM AS LONG AS THEY STAY THERE. WHICH MEANS MANAGEMENT WILL HAVE TO KEEP THEM NOW ! WELL ATLEAST I HOPE SO. CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK THERE AGAIN! SEE YOU SOON LADIES!!!!

    QUEENS NAILS
My daughter and I got mani/pedis at Queen as 'walk-ins" the weekend before Christmas. They were busy, but were able to take us. We only waited about 10 minutes. The business has been here for years and I've used them in the past. They are always polite and do a very good job. Selection of colors is good and my manicure lasted about 2 weeks. My pedicure is still looking good after 3 weeks, but it is time to get it done again. I would definitely recommend them and will be going back again.

    QUEENS NAILS
We arrived about 5 minutes early and they were ready for us - my sister and I had chairs next to each other so we could chat while our feet were done. The massage chairs were great! They washed our feet and legs, including a sugar scrub and foot/calf massage, trimmed nails and cuticles, and applied the polish we chose from the wall. They also offered to trim our calluses but since my sister and I are dancers we wanted to keep those :-) so they just scrubbed them instead. After the polish was applied they gave us foam spa slippers and we shuffled over to the dryer to dry our nails. The whole experience was about an hour start to finish, we were two of maybe four customers total in the place the entire time we were there. The only problem we had was that a couple of hours after we left my sister's polish peeled up in a couple of spots on her big toe, but it's been over a week and mine is still flawless! Overall it was a great experience and we'd definitely go back again.
