    American Plumbing and Septic Service
Sucking the tank was $275.00. Then Anthony Hopper told me that I needed to rework my feeder lines and told me he could do it for $4000.00. He said the tank would not drain. I gave him a $2000.00 deposit but an hour later I seriously thought it was a scam. I called them and told them to cancel the service and send me a refund. Well I have to go to court because I never got the refund. They decided to keep it. As for the tank....it works fine. Yes it was a scam. Go somewhere else.

The guy showed up at 9, said he would have to write up a quote and call me in the afternoon. He said it would be a week or two before they could come out to do the job. Never got that call and I'm pretty sure they didn't want the job. I just wish they would have told me they didn't want the job or had time for it when I called. I could have called someone else who could be here while I'm off work. What a waste!
Update: I never heard back from them the next day either.

    Mr. Dan's Plumbing, Inc.
I have used mr. Dan's plumbing in the past but this was the first time for their septic part. They came out and pumped out the tank. The gentleman was professional and on time. We were expecting to have to replace the field lines but did not have to. The lid over the tank did have a crack line in it which is understandable since the unit is approximately 48 years old. Mr. Dan's professional whose name was Josh explained everything to us as well as the costs. We elected to replace the lid and Josh came out the following day as he promised. After he had removed and replaced the lid, he showed us the old lid and that it had a hole in the underside. This could have been a very serious problem had it not been taken care of. We appreciated Josh's knowledge and his taking the time to completely go over everything with us. He could have easily sold us new field lines (we were ready to buy) which we did not need. This is typical of the service we have had from Mr. Dan's in the past. Is it no wonder that we are "repeat" customers?!

I called them yesterday and they said they would see if they could work me in.  They called this morning and said they could be here in 10 min!!  HURRAY!  They found cracks beginning in the hall toilet and suggested I replace it so I did.  They took time to go get one and installed it.  I can't believe the price was so low!!!  I'll certainly use them again.  Thank you Barrett's!

The plumber assured us that the work would we be done by him and his
son. That was the last time we saw him (and never saw his son) until he
came to pick up the check. They tore out the shower in the bathroom to
deal with a leak and had to replace the shower interior and bathroom
cabinet, as well as some sheet rock that got wet. The work was done
quickly, but the vanity they took out had drawers and shelves. The one
they replaced it with was the cheapest cabinet they could find. The tile
work looks like something I did myself. Overall, not at all pleased
    with the aesthetics.

1 1/2 years later (now) sink is leaking around seal, had to buy a new spfdddddrayer attachment, Faucet & handles leaking around seal. Plumber sent out said he would not guarantee any faucet set or sprayer but 1 brand. I returned the brand * had bought & got the brand he wanted. The counter techs had cut the opening too big, I thought because it barely was under the edge of the sink. The plumber stated he could get it sealed where he would guarantee it would not leak. These seals lasted 6 mths. & I have had to reseal the sink myself after I found it had leaked around the seal & run down into the cabinet below, warping the sides & bottom. I would not recommend this plumber. He also stated the general contractor I had for the renovation of my kitchen had gotten a price from his company that was too low because it had not included the installation of the garbage disposal. He "hinted" very strongly that he had been shorted tha amount. I felt bad for him & paid him an additional $100 cash at that time.

I had a good feeling about them just talking to Brent on the phone! :)  He called to let me know approximately what time to expect their arrival.  When they showed up, they immediately covered their shoes with floor protector covers which I really liked.  He was very personable and straight up with the cost if it met a certain criteria. I was ready for them to get the job done, but my husband wanted to show the potential bill to my son first.  I liked their professionalism and I already have plans for them to come out to install a toilet with bidet seat in my elderly parents home. I really liked them.   I will let you know how everything goes at my parents home.  I have a feeling it will be great!

Their website says they open at 8 am. I called at 7:30 am (Yeah, I'm that guy) and someone answered the phone. I told them that I had a water leak that I couldn't locate. I told them I checked under the house and shut off all toilets and sinks. My water meter flow indicator showed water was still flowing. I told them I believed I might have a leaking water main.
They said they would come out the same day I called. They showed up about an hour later and went through the house checking for any items that may leak.
Myself I work in the field service business making repairs. One thing I've learned is to never take the customers word on what they said they checked. Customers miss things.
True to good troubleshooting procedure, they went through and checked everything out for themselves; but not before they covered their boots with slip covers.
The next step was for them to check under the house. Before they went under the house they told me that to check a crawl space they would have to charge a service fee for going under the house. They asked if I was okay with the fee. I told them to do what they needed to do find the leak.
They crawled under the house and didn't find any leaking pipes. Thats when they decided to add a shut off valve under the house. One to help isolate the problem and two because everyone needs a shutoff valve under the house for maintenance purposes. They told me there wouldn't be an added charge for the shutoff valve install as the craw space fee would cover it.
They had a shutoff valve installed in like 5 minutes.
One of the guys told me he noticed the wall to the front of the house was really wet. He said he suspected that the water leak was right outside the front of the house. He also told me that the water line was running through the HVAC ductwork. (Which was true) He told me how that is very bad and the metal on metal contact is causing the pipe to wear out. One day the pipe would burst.
We went to the front of the house to check.
I had already dug up half my yard tracing down the water line and looking for a leak. They gave me three options. One They could dig up the area they suspected was where the water was leaking from and fix just the leak. Two they could finish digging up the yard and would only charge me half of the normal digging fee because I had dug up the yard half way, then replace the whole water main going into the house. Three, if I wanted to save more money they would let me dig the rest of the yard up and not charge me for digging at all. I had done all the digging I wanted to do and I know that with 30+ year old water lines, it's best just to replace them.
They gave me two quotes. $400 and something to dig up the spot and repair the line. $1150.00 and they would finishing digging up the yard and run new Pec line that would be rerouted around the HVAC ductwork instead of through it.
I went with the full water main replacement.
They had to leave to pick up their excavator to finish digging up the yard and take care of some other service calls. They came back a few hours later and got right to work.
I told them I was sorry if I was bothering them just hanging out watching everything they did. I explained that I find this kind of stuff fascinating. They shrugged it off and explained I wasn't bothering them. They told me everything they were doing as they were doing it. As a natural do-it-yourselfer, I loved learning everything they were doing. I liked that they let me hang around and didn't seem to be the least bit bothered with me watching or asking a bunch of questions.
They dug out a trench where the water line was. They found the where the pipe had been leaking. They stopped and asked if I wanted them to continue replacing the water line or just repair the broken pipe. I told them to continue replacing the water line.
They pulled out an old faucet that was attached to the old main line. They came over and said the faucet looked old and worn out. They said they were going to go ahead and replace it. No extra cost for that.
They had the new water line run through pretty quick. One of the guys even called me over to show me how the crimper works on the Pec water line.
They put all the dirt back into the hole, even the dirt I had dug up. They went over afterwards and put hay down to cover up the muddy area.
Great guys to spend the day hanging out with. It cost me a lot of money, but it could have been a lot worse. They made it seem like money well spent. Very professional and friendly. I hope I won't need their services anytime soon. But if I do, I wouldn't have a problem calling them up again.

    Big O Plumbing
They installed faucets. They rerouted piping under kitchen sink after removing a water purification system. This greatly cleared up draining problems we were experencing with our disposal blocking the line with refuse garbage. Installed new waterlevel controllers in both bathrooms. The only problem I am having now is getting them back out to redo the one faucet in the bathroom. The warranty from the faucet manufacturer sent me two new inserts for the faucet and they were both cold water. I had to contact the manufacturer and they sent the correct inserts. I have called a couple of times since receiving the correct inserts but Big O Plumbing has not made it back over here to correct the problem. They promised, as they have already been paid. Other than that I am totally satisified with their demeanor and their work.
