  They came in gave an estimate. That’s what they do. Told me when they could have it done. They was ready when they told me and then they came out and did it. Everything would have to be perfect to get an A, but B is good. I would give them a B. They were there when they told me.

  Haynes Heating & Air Conditioning

  The tech was under the house for less then a minute came out saying I need a new furnace. Said a sensor was tripped that senses air leaking behind burners. After listening to him talk a minute, I told him I was just looking at the furnace and proved his theory wrong. He went back under and tapped the gas valve and it fired up. Same thing I've been doing off and on the past month. He was trying to just sell mqe a new system instead of figuring out the real problem. Good thing I know a little about gas furnaces, otherwise I might be stressing about buying a new furnace right now.

  HURSTON'S HEATING & AIR COND

  This company claims that they are punctual. Not the case whatsoever. They had authorization to complete this project and they simply kept putting it off and putting me on the back burner. By speaking with the owner, he seems nice and friendly, but it was more than clear he wasn't willing to do the work. I eventually made my final complaint with our warranty company. Our Warranty company claims that Hurston will no longer be a provider of theirs and I hope they keep their word. I waited over a month and gave them plenty of time and chances to make it right and they never called me back and eventually seemed to be avoiding my calls.

  His only downfall is communication.  He had to order both parts and did not keep me informed of when he would be back to install them.   HOWEVER, that said, his work was beyond reproach.  He got in and got out!  He's an expert.  He only charged me for labor and what a bargain that was!!!   Cleaned drain fr air conditioning. Called because regular contractor was busy and my unit was leaking in my basement. They said it would be after lunch but was there within the hour. Was even given a discount. Very happy with service.

  Unusual for me to write a superb review as this one but it was acceptional.
  Purchased a short sale/foreclosed house with some parts in poor condition. I expected to spend a lot of money, greater than 1000.00 to repair or a lot more to replace AC and Heating units. He checked and cleaned, Repaired electrical breaker and replaced capacitor and check freon levels. I have had this service at other houses and expected at least a 400.00 invoice. Shocked at 135.00 with him spending almost 2 hours plus explaining future service and maintenance.

  Roger was very professional and helpful and thorough with my questions. There was a travel charge for weekday work within the local area which I felt was unfair. The service few was fair and the cost of parts was also fair. I have had this service done before and it was on average $60-75 cheaper.

  This story is from last summer, but I'm still giving referrals a year later. My home condenser unit was less than 2 years old and wasn't operating or cooling properly. I had service performed by another company that changed parts, charged the freon and still couldn't repair the cooling issue or keep the fan operating. I was advised to replace the compressor at the least, possibly even the entire condenser. I called Cleghorn for a second opinion. The technician discovered that the unit had been overcharged with freon and only needed the coils clean. What I was afraid would be a several thousand dollar repair turned out to cost less than $100. I have had no further issues and couldn't be more pleased. I manage an apartment community and we now contract Cleghorn for repairs that are beyond the expertise of our onsite technicians. Great company!

  Yes, the price (compared to others)was a little higher but the work is/was excellent.  Since then, I have had to have a couple of digital thermostats replaced because I mash the buttons so hard.  The company responds the same day...onc never charging me and the next sending me a very small invoice.  I could not take off from work during the installation so I put my cat in another room and left them a key.  They never bothered anything...the work was almost done when I get home that day and kitty was fine!
