    Etowah Pediatrics
When I had my second son I had to pick a pediatrician from a list which made me really nervous but I picked one and crossed my fingers. The day after the baby was born the doctor came in to check on my son. He was smiling and upbeat which made a good first impression. He asked questions about the baby and the birth but he also showed concern for how I was doing. We had an appointment 2 days later which would be our first experience in the actual office. It was neat and clean and we especially liked that there were separate sections for sick and healthy kids. Since our son was only 2 days old as soon as we walked in and signed in at the desk we were taking to a room right away. We have since transferred our oldest son to this office as well. They get fast appointments, they have an answering service for when they are closed, and are overall fantastic!

    Horizon Pediatrics
Dr. Ebba is a great doctor. My son loves him. He seems to be really great with kids. What I like most is that he actually remembers my son. He doesn't just fade into the background with his many other patients. It makes you feel like he cares and isn't just rushing to get to the next patient. I may have disagreed with him on a few things here and there, but overall we really enjoy having him as our sons pediatrician.

    Etowah Pediatrics
My daughter was running a high fever, from a virus, and had to be picked up from daycare. It was only an hour before the clinic closed, but they still let us bring her in. Although they couldn't prescribe her anything, Dr. Hester explained that it was nothing serious and would just run it's course. He also told us that she would probably develop a rash in the next few days, due to the fever. I'm so glad he went ahead and told us, because she developed a huge rash later that night. We actually switched to Etowah Peds, when my daughter was a couple months old, from another clinic. I'm am so glad that we made the switch, because we save so much time with Dr. Hester, and he and his staff are just excellent!

    Clark, Dr. Gerald H
We have been seeing Dr Gerald Clark as our pediatrician since our son's birth in 2010, and have been so pleased with the experience. He is highly communicative, always takes time with us to answer our questions, and tells us things we never even knew to ask him on each visit (this is our first child). His bedside manner is fantastic, with both parents AND kids - he always makes our son feel very comfortable, and we leave feeling like all our questions were answered. His support staff are also great, we have had to call a number of times for minor questions or consults and have always been very happy with the outcomes. The nurses respond quickly to calls, etc. The office itself is great, toys in lobby for kids to play with, and many books in exam rooms to occupy a young child. Cannot recommend this practice any more highly!! Very grateful for them and their great service.

    Pell City Pediatrics
Pell City Pediatrics is great. My doctor is honest. She'll tell you what she thinks. She's kind of stern with the children. She's like, "You can't act like that in here." I like that. My daughter has special needs. Everything the doctor said panned out. She was good with forms and appointments. She's good with communications.

Went great!!! Love this doctor!!! He leaves your child's care up to you. My family tends to go the natural way and he supports that. The office is extremely neat and clean. My son has never gotten sick from going to this doctors office. He is willing to work with you on immunization. I don't believe in giving all vaccines in one visit and he allows me to spread them out however I want. The nurses are great too!! My son does not even cry most of the time when he gets a shot!! Highly recommended my son will never go anywhere else!!!

Overall, everything went well.  I observed the following that I found to be noteworthy and true.  A mom went in with her teen-age son.  She stated to the doctor, "you are a Christian aren't  you?"  The doctor responded, "yes, how can you tell"?  The mom responded with a smile, "because you love everyone who comes in here". That was all the convincing I needed to continue using this doctor.  I will also continue referring patients to her.

Additionally, he will see the parents of his patients. Several weeks ago, I took my daughter in to see Dr. Sellers. After her appointment he asked me (the mom) how I had been doing. I proceeded to explain to him some problems I was having. A little history: I had been having some stomach issues and had been seeing my gastroenterologist's nurse practitioner for about 1 1/2 months (because I could never get an appointment with the actual gastroenterologist doctor). I got really sick a couple of nights before my daughter's appointment so I called the nurse practitioner and told her what happened. She called me back prior to my daughter's appointment. She was very rude to me, chewed me out, and said there was no fix for my problem. I know there is no fix for GERD. But the problem I was having there was a fix for, she just wouldn't listen and wasn't doing her job. So, when Dr. Sellers asked me (the mom) how I was doing, well...I had to vent. I said well, do you know any good gastro doctors? I explained what happened. He asked me a few questions and said well, have you ever been tested for food allergies? My response was no; no one has ever mentioned that. He told me his initial thoughts about what might be going on with my stomach. So, I scheduled an appointment with him. He did a food allergy test, actually listened to me, and what do you know...after eliminating a couple of different things from my diet, we found the problem. The truth of the matter is, the nurse practitioner should have caught this - this is her areas of expertise. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Sellers to anyone whether you live in Alexander City or not. He is definitely worth checking out.

    Jeffrey Hull MD
Dr. Hull is by far the best pediatrician in the North Alabama area. He treated me all through my adolescent years with ups and downs with my type 1 diabetes, and also treated my two boys, now ages almost 13 and 6. We recently moved back to the state, but an hour from Decatur, but I am seriously considering returning to him for my children's care since none of the local pediatricians are accepting new patients. I trusted this doctor with my life and trust him with my children's lives. He was a,ways very thorough and concerned.
