    T.C. Construction
We used TC Construction to fix up our home in order to sale the property. The work TC Construction did got us a great offer when we listed the property in October of 2018. The work was done exactly right and tailored to my liking. Tommy of TC Construction can do anything and everything when it come to home remodeling. We are talking to him getting estimates on doing some upgrades to our new home we just purchased.

    B & B Residential Services
Fantastic crew! I was out of town during most of the construction phase and the B&B Residential crew were clean, courteous and professional. The work was done exactly how it was promised. When customers would stop by while B&B was working, all the reports I received were how well the project was proceeding, how friendly the workers were and how well they represented my business, while I wasn't there. Thank you B&B Residential Services for a great new kitchen, I will definitely be hiring you guys again!

    One Call Roofing
A person from this company came to our home and looked at the job, took measurements, and said an estimate would be provided within a week. Seemed earnest about wanting to do the job but that was mid-May and it's now late June and still no estimate.

    Gustin Tile & Stone Inc

Our house was built in 1977, and was in need of a bathroom/shower update. We had completely gutted our master bathroom. We found Gustin Tile and Stone on Angie's List, and are so glad that we did. Mr. Gustin and his son promptly returned our call and made an appointment. After meeting with them and explaining what we wanted, they sent us a quote below what we had expected. Work started shortly thereafter, and I don't know of any way it could have been a more pleasant experience. Our tile guy, Victor, obviously had experience and a great eye for detail. He worked very hard to make sure we were pleased with every step. He even made me samples of tile/grout combinations when I had trouble choosing a grout color! Every time I and quot;peekedand quot; during the process, I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was respectful to us, as well as our home, cleaning up completely at the end of each work day, and letting me know when to expect them again. Mr. Gustin checked in frequently, and performed the final inspection afterwards.

My bathroom looks better than I could have ever imagined. I am very happy that we hired Gustin Tile for our remodel, and will keep their phone number for any future projects.

    BHW Wholesale Renovations
I hired them on April 20th, 2012.  I wrote them a check for $2700 to repair my soffits, put up gutters and reside my house.  They showed up on Saturday April 21st and said they needed another check or they could not get materials.  I told them no that they would not get anymore money til the job was complete.  On April 24th they came over for 3 hours and tore down some rotten siding and trim and I have not seen them since.  I have called, texted, emailed only to get excuses like "Im sick".  "I had a diabetic attack".   "Its Raining"  "we are working 2 jobs" just excuse after excuse after excuse all documented from the beginning.  It is obvious that they had no intent on doing anything.  I am a single mom of 3 boys whose home is in dire need of repair.  Mold is getting in and now they have my money and I cant afford to hire anyone else.  Its disgusting that people like this prey on innocent people!  I am taking it to court.  They live in a Mobile home and have a vehicle which is for sale for $1500.  Its obvious these people have no money and are probably drug addicts who drive around doing this to others.  May God have mercy on their souls.  It clearly says in the bible "Thy shall not steal".  I have all the documented evidence I need though.  Thank God I was smart and saved everything.  The name of the company is BHW Wholesale Renovations LLC.  Owners are Davicia Morgan and Eric Morgan at 133 Little Creek Dr in Chelsea, Alabama.

    S S Development Company Inc
We gutted one wing of our house, turning a hall bath and adjoining bedroom into the master suite and creating a jack-and-jill from two other bedrooms and a bath. We used our own designer who drew the plans from which S&S worked. Satisfactory: paint, tile, stone, electrical, plumbing, glass shower doors. Deeply Unsatisfactory: carpentry. Of 5 new doors, 4 are hung (framed?) crooked and do not open/close satisfactorily. A pocked door does not shut properly, but S&S said it was ?fine.? A new front door that was installed did not open/close satisfactorily; I had to hire someone else to adjust it after his carpenter tried at least 3 times. It works fine after another contractor fixed it. I also had to rip up S&S?s wood floor installation, purchase new wood, and have my own installer lay pre-finished floors because S&S did a very poor job. S&S split the cost with me but I still paid approx $800 out of pocket, even after S&S agreed that the job was unsatisfactory. I still do not know how to correct the crooked interior doors, which don't stay open/closed as needed. Heated floors: these were installed in such a manner that the area in front of the toilet and in front of the sinks is not heated. Of course by the time I discovered this, it was too late to change it. S&S did split the cost with me since it was not done to our satisfaction but it cannot be fixed. I got the impression this was the first heated floor installation he had done. Personal: Steven has a lot of experience building new homes and has strong opinions on how things ought to be done. He is eager to please but often hasty in execution. One of our biggest difficulties had to do with expectations for the quality of materials. His bid was woefully inadequate so we ran into problems, for example, when I selected materials for tile in our Mountain Brook master bathroom that exceeded the $4-5 per square foot for which he had allowed in his bid. I did not select extraordinary tile but needed tile appropriate for the style and location of our home. When Steven sent me to his carpet salesman, I was dissatisfied with the quality of the carpets he showed me. I repeatedly asked to see different samples but the salesman insisted these were ?better than builder grade? so I should be happy. Even though I made clear my willingness to pay more for a better carpet, it took quite a bit of work and a threat to go elsewhere to convince them to show me something that met my specifications. These are just two examples. Steven's best quality is his quick response to requests; as soon as I asked for something to be done, he took care of it immediately, and for that I was appreciative. Steven?s pricing structure felt opaque. In his bid, it was difficult to see how much he had allowed for various items. When I asked to price a potential change order, it was very difficult to see how much particular items cost and thus very difficult for me to make price-comparison decisions when weighing two options. If you want someone to come in quickly, make decisions for you, and finish a job quickly, then Steven will do a decent job. If, however, you care about the details and quality of a project, then dealing with S&S Development Co will be very frustrating for both of you. I spent quite a bit of time standing over sub-contractors and correcting unsatisfactory details that I was able to catch. I was fortunate to have a bathroom designer who helped me to make good stylistic and decor decisions. I still need to find a way to correct several interior doors which don't open/close correctly and that is the source of lingering frustration for us. Overall, Steven wants his homeowners to be happy and will do what he can to find an acceptable solution to disagreements but in general, he did not seem to understand what was needed to meet our expectations from the beginning.

Horrible! They were a total nightmare! They didnt like us asking questions, especially about money. They were not forthcoming and communication was awful! I recommend them to build a doghouse!
