    I am a very good house keeper but I have been ill and have let things go a bit, they did a very good job over all. What they did well was the cleaning of bath rooms. Cleaned fans light fixtures moped kitchen,bathrooms, and entry. Dusted mini blinds, wiped down woodwork. They were very pleasant and talk to me about how nice my home was.

    We generally get the same person each time, so they get to know our house. If by chance they have had a longer-than-normal job right before mine, they send along an extra girl to help get mine done more quickly. They vacuum, dust, change sheets, do dishes, clean all appliance surfaces, scrub floors, and thoroughly clean bathrooms at a very reasonable price. Very happy with them.

    The quality cleaning services
    For overall cleaning services, they did an okay job the first time.  We keep a pretty clean house, so it isn't as if there is a ton to do outside the normal maintenance. They tout that they "touch everything in  your house", not so.  My shower stall was not cleaned very well and there was dust in places that I would not leave myself, especially if I owned a business.  The service was for 2 hours worth of cleaning.  The second time they came, they were about 8 hours late.  Yes, I said 8.  I guess because they didn't actually make it to my house until after 5 o'clock they didn't feel the need to clean the whole 2 hours.  I made a complaint and they deny that this was the case, saying they don't clean houses after 5.  I guess I made up that they came to my house after 5 and only stayed for about 30 minutes.  I guess that explains the short service. Also, they are VERY, VERY unprofessional.  I can't say enough about the way they handle themselves.  I was a little caught off guard the first time (after they were 1.5 hours LATE!!!).  Their conversation was less than desirable, their presentation was also less than desirable.  I don't know that I even need to go into their lack of punctuality.  Needless to say, both times we used their services, they had excuses as to why they were late (flat tire, family emergency, stolen computer and appointment keeper... you name it)  Yes, there were multiple excuses because I tried to schedule them the 2nd time on multiple occasions after they totally failed to show up for an appointment. Needless to say, I DO NOT recommend this cleaning service.  They have a long way to go to be anywhere near other professionals.

    My disabled sister lives with my wife and I, my wife is also disabled and sometimes the house gets ahead of us. This was right before the holidays and we needed some help. I checked out all the house cleaning companies on Angies list and chose "Two Maids and a Mop"
    I went to their website and downloaded the (2) two list of cleaning duties and talked with a rep at the company. I found out they did not do laundry, so I know this up front, however they were to change the bed clothes and clean one bedroom, den, kitchen and one bath, the other two bedrooms and bath they were no to do. They pulled the sheets off the one  bed and did not put on the clean set . They swept the den floor but did not sweep or dust under the TV stand which is 6 - 8 inches off the floor and you can see the dust under there. I told them I would move the couches when they were ready so they could do the entire floor they never asked and just swept around them. None of the kitchen counters or appliances were wiped off as they were to be, the sliding glass door to the patio was not cleaned (also on the list). We have a small 24" ceiling fan in the kitchen and a larger one in the den. These were to be dusted and were never touched. I complained to the company, they apologized and there was no charge.

    I had just purchased a home that my family and I were moving into and I wanted it to be thoroughly and professionally cleaned prior to moving in because the previous owners had pets and the home was very dusty and dirty and cleaning it was more than I wanted to tackle myself. I was given a price range for the cleaning over the phone based on the size of the home and my description of what I needed done. The estimate seemed less than what I felt the job was worth -even at the high end of the range - because the house is so large. I assumed the price would change when the maids came out and actually assessed the home - which it did and I had no problem with that. However, when the job was "finished", I was given a much higher price because The maids had apparently gone way over the amount of time allotted in the quoted amount "after" the visual assessment. Even though the time went over because I asked the supervisor to tell me which rooms were completed so I could begin my inspection while they were doing other rooms. Upon my inspection, I found MANY things that hadn't been cleaned - very obvious things. The inside nor outside of the bathroom cabinets had  been cleaned - at all! The bathroom floors had not even been swept - much less hand cleaned (I have 5 bathrooms). The bedroom ceiling fans and window sills had barely been touched (I have 5 bedrooms). The refrigerator had been cleaned, but not the freezer side of the side by side refrigerator. The front of the kitchen cabinets, inside of drawers, nor inside of cabinets hadn't been wiped down at all. The list goes on and on. All of these things were brought to the supervisor's attention and the crew went back and supposedly cleaned them. I had spent my entire time there with the crew and didn't have the energy to do a 2nd inspection after the 2nd cleaning. When I did do the 2nd inspection, I was shocked at how much still wasn't properly cleaned. The Maids sent another crew out the next day or day after, and they were shocked at how much had not been properly cleaned. The 2nd crew noticed some marks on the fire place and tried to clean it and brought it to my attention when it didn't clean.  The fireplace is marble and it appeared as if someone had spray something on it and forgot to wipe it - there were stain streaks.   The only other people who had been in the home cleaning, spraying, and wiping was the 1st crew.   The 2nd crew called the office manager and advised of the situation.  The  manager said it couldn't have been caused by their maids because they don't use chemicals or spray anything.   I told them that it looked like someone sprayed the fireplace and then forgot to wipe it.  The manager said based on the time the 2nd crew spent at my house, it was really dirty and that it looked like someone else had tried to clean - duh, I hired you because the house was dirty and someone did try to previously clean it - YOUR 1st CREW.  It dawned on her the absurdity of the statement as soon as the last word left her mouth so I let that go.   When they finally got someone to come out and a assess the damage and recommend how it could be cleaned/repaired, they said the guy that inspected said the stains appear to have been there a while.   At this point, the company is calling me a liar in an attempt to not accept responsibity.   I previously explained to them that if the stains had already been there, the 1st crew would have noticed it and brought it to my attention like the 2nd crew did.  The work was done mid March; it is mid May now and I just got the e-mail today from The Maids saying that the stains were already there - hence this e-mail.   I sent an e-mail reply to them letthing them know of my dissatifaction of their services and how this was handled and that I would no longer pursue this further with The Maids, however, I would let other Angie List customers know of the kind of service The Maids provided me. 
    The only positive review I can give about The Maids based on my experience is that they did a great job vacuuming the carpet and the ladies on the 1st crew and the 2nd crew were very nice.

    Tidy Cleaning Solutions
    These people are terrible. I've tried for more than a month to get a day and time scheduled with this "company". Here's what's happened:

    1. I contacted them via the web. No response. I emailed again. No response. I emailed again. No response.
    2. I called the number listed on the Groupon I received. I got a return call but missed it. The message said to email them because that's the only way to get in touch with them, really. (Really? Hadn't worked for me yet.)
    3. I emailed again. I finally got a date scheduled ... no time. Who, as a professional schedule maker, thinks to add a time when scheduling?
    4. I emailed back to ask for a time. I emailed back to ask for a time. I emailed back to ask for a time. I called to ask for a time. I emailed to ask for a time.
    5. I called and asked for a return phone call. Got nothing.
    6. I called and asked for a time. I called and asked for a time. I emailed and asked for a time.
    7. My  husband went to find their business and ask, in person, for a time. Their address is the downtown post office.
    8. I called to leave a message and their voicemail box was full.
    9. My husband finally got someone on the phone. She suggested we ask for a refund from Groupon because they have other customers to worry about.

    I have never ... NEVER ... experienced "customer service" this terrible.

    White Gloves Custom Cleaning
    When I contacted this company to inquire as to the cost of having my home cleaned, I explained to them that I have COPD, on oxygen 24/7, and congestive heart failure. We also have a large black dog who sheds like crazy. These prevent me from doing much housework. The laundry and most cleaning chores are left for my husband and my 16-year-old daughter to do for the most part. While they are both willing helpers, my house was in serious need of a thorough cleaning. The team showed up at the appointed time, with only an over-the-phone estimate on the cost of cleaning. They did every tile floor on hands and knees, cleaning my windows, fans and window shades, polished the tops of the light bulbs in my bathrooms, every baseboard was washed and some of the walls were wiped down. This team of experts had my house in "show condition" within 2-1/2 hours. They even cleaned my laundry room (in the garage) and changed sheets where needed. They were amazing in their efficiency and friendliness, and I will most certainly use this service again.
