.The clinic is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Sometimes they get busy and I have to wait a little while for my appointment.

    Va Hosp.
The overall experience has been excellent. It doesn't cost me and all my drugs are free. You could use the hospital if you are bedridden. I haven't had any trouble with availability. I go in and I am in and out.

    HealthSouth Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital
I had no complaints whatsoever.  They are very expert in general.  They were able to take me in, see me, understand what the concerns were and then improve.

The care they give is excellent. We are blessed to have them here. They are great. The only problem is finding a place to park.

    Uab Hospital
The Doctors at UAB are wonderful. I have several doctors there. A lot of people I know go there. I have lung disease from second-hand smoke and I go to a lung specialist. I have my primary care physician there. I go to pain management for my back because I can't have surgery because of my lung problem, it would be too risky. So their pain management is wonderful. I had tried another place, tried to do something and UAB is by far the best because they don't treat you with drugs they do epidurals, which really helps. I have been to a lot of different specialists there, orthopedic and that type. I've been satisfied. First of all I had a horrible allergic reaction to something because my grandson is out here helping and my face broke out in rashes and hives. They told me to get in at 8 o'clock the next morning because I had called them at about 3 the previous day, and they gave me medication and got it resolved. It was pretty painful and it took me about four days to get over it. It was itchy and trying not to scratch - especially on my face - was hard. The staff and Doctors are polite. They have patient advocates if you are not satisfied or if they've been rude that you can call. They can get that resolved. To me, there's no better place than UAB. If I call about something I will hear back on the same day. I have been in hospital with pneumonia. I got a horse when we moved here and I've been thrown about three times, and fractured my ribs. They handled that very quickly. I don't get to rid the horse any more. They are very polite and every thing. My hospital experiences have been very good and they took very good care of me. My husband was going there until he passed away. He would say his experience wasn't very good, but of course he wouldn't do anything the Doctor said, and he ended up he died from lung cancer plus diabetes. He was very stubborn. They listen to what I say so communication is great. I am on Medicare and I have a lot of medical bills and I would like them to put them all on to one bill to pay a month instead of little ones all separated. That is the only problem I've really had with them.

    UAB Health System
The hospital has a one number access 205 934-9999 where the appointment was made. I am followed by the primary care doctors in Hoover and also followed for breast cancer prevention.

    University Of Alabama Hospital
Her cancer was not caught in time, so she had to go between being at home and staying at hospitals. I was not satisified with the treatment at another hospital at Brookwood.  At UAB, she got better doctors and treatment than she had at the original hospital.  From my observation, I like the University of Alabama Medical Center in better than any other hospital that she went to.

    St Vincents Health System
This was the most efficient experience I have had with an ER. This hospital was probably the furthest from where I lived, but I had heard this ER was the best in town. They were VERY efficient and friendly. Doctor and nurse where very understanding, thorough and pleasant. I did not have to wait in the waiting room. The admission process was extremely efficient. I was taken immediately to a room and was promptly seen by a nurse. The doctor followed close behind. My only complaint was that it took them quite a while to get me to x-ray which was just in the next room. The few times I've been in an emergency room, I've been required to wait for hours in the waiting room only to be put in a room for another hour before the doctor could see me. This was the first time I was in and out in <3 hours.
