    Arceos Affordable Seamless Gutters
Everything started off fine. Sergeo went out to my house, quickly, and gave me a comparable price to another quote that I got. Even better, he was able to come out and do the job, quickly, as we had already taken the old gutters down. He showed up on-time, alone. I asked him if he had another guy or two coming, to help him out, being that the one run was about 23 feet long. Not easy to hang, by yourself, I thought. He said that he'd be just fine and got a couple of ladders and went to work. I told him to holler if he needed a hand, and he did once, and I was happy to help. When he finished up, I noticed that one of the downspouts was angled 90 degrees the wrong way - toward the sidewalk - not aimed down the driveway, to the road. He didn't quite agree with me, that it was wrong (despite the original being pointed that way), but did come back, later that day, with the proper bend. I told him that I would be doing myself a disservice if I didn't "test" the gutters. He said not to put water in until the sealant at the mitres cured. OK. So I got a small metal ball. It didn't roll in the gutters. He dismissed it as just being too small to get enough momentum. OK, fine. I'll run a hose tomorrow, I figured. The next day, it rained a bit, but not a lot. Once it was finished, I climbed up and ran a hose in the gutters. The majority of the water drained, with enough flow, but there was a lot of standing water in the middle of the long run. Anything in the right half, over to the mitre, was going nowhere - not either direction. I sent Sergeo a txt on Tuesday, asking him to have a look and he said that he would, and he said that he'd come out the next day to do them. On Wednesday, he said that he was unable to do it, but he'd be there the following day. Thursday, he said he had a big job planned, but he'd get to it on Saturday morning. On the next Tuesday, I sent him a txt, saying "I thought you were coming by this past weekend." I got no response. On the next Friday, I sent him another txt, saying "Sergeo, I'd appreciate it if you could please finish the job at my house." No response. Leading up to the job, he was great with txts. We did everything by txt, so I saw no reason to not continue with it. It has been 4 weeks, today, since the last txt I sent him. He has not finished the job or communicated, in any way. I figured, that I've waited long enough for him to make it right and he hasn't, so here's my story.

    Southern Strong Roofing
Installer was late and no-showed several times over the course of a week. Finally a manager came out to do the work himself and as compensation for the poor service offered to come back and install additional gutter caps on the second story roofline at no additional charge. He never returned to perform this service and messages left to attempt to schedule this were not returned. We purchased the initial services as part of an Angie's List deal and will be leery of these deals in the future, particularly when the business offering them has no reviews yet. Lesson learned.

    Blair Exteriors
All rotten wood was replaced and new gutters were installed. All people involved were very professional and the results are great. Over the next year or two, I will need to have additional work done and I will call Blair over anyone else. Thanks especially to Ben Watson.

    ANDY OnCall Birmingham
Found this group on Angie's List so thought I would give them a try. Also adding to a reasonable price was a 15% off coupon. They were here all day and did a workmanlike job and cleaned up afterwards. They even did a few minor things not on the list. Also recommended an electrician nearby who came and did some additional work. Very happy customer here. Would definitely use again.

    BHW Wholesale Renovations
I hired them on April 20th, 2012.  I wrote them a check for $2700 to repair my soffits, put up gutters and reside my house.  They showed up on Saturday April 21st and said they needed another check or they could not get materials.  I told them no that they would not get anymore money til the job was complete.  On April 24th they came over for 3 hours and tore down some rotten siding and trim and I have not seen them since.  I have called, texted, emailed only to get excuses like "Im sick".  "I had a diabetic attack".   "Its Raining"  "we are working 2 jobs" just excuse after excuse after excuse all documented from the beginning.  It is obvious that they had no intent on doing anything.  I am a single mom of 3 boys whose home is in dire need of repair.  Mold is getting in and now they have my money and I cant afford to hire anyone else.  Its disgusting that people like this prey on innocent people!  I am taking it to court.  They live in a Mobile home and have a vehicle which is for sale for $1500.  Its obvious these people have no money and are probably drug addicts who drive around doing this to others.  May God have mercy on their souls.  It clearly says in the bible "Thy shall not steal".  I have all the documented evidence I need though.  Thank God I was smart and saved everything.  The name of the company is BHW Wholesale Renovations LLC.  Owners are Davicia Morgan and Eric Morgan at 133 Little Creek Dr in Chelsea, Alabama.

    Authentic Restoration
Found this company on Angie's list and read reviews. Received several quotes from other companies. Decided to go with Authentic Restoration because of their attention to detail and their courtesy and professionalism. The work was actually completed while we were away for a few days. Upon our return Chris came over to the house and walked us through everything. We had one minor issue and it was fixed to our satisfaction immediately. We would recommend this company to our friends and family
