ACrew Cut LawnsIt went very well, very professional. Gavin came with us to the nursery to help pick out a good tree. His worker picked the tree up from the nursery and brought it to our place on the scheduled day. The work was done on time and he came out to check with his employee to see that everything was ready and confirm the plan. Prior they had done a grass thatching and liming that was done well, also for two of our neighbors.- Paul J.

FGage Tree ServiceThe tree was cut down satisfactorily. However, I was specific that I needed to know when they were coming to do the work so I could notify renters (I don't live in the area); it wasn't until I got a call from the neighbor - "hey, can I have the wood?" that I knew it happened. I called and complained and was assured they would notify me, in the spring, when they would come and grind the stump (recommending not doing it after snow). You got it, they came and ground out the stump, after snow, without notifying me. I had no idea they ground out the stump and after getting the bill, only paid for the tree cut. They sent me a balance due notice - now, it's either pay-up or collections. Gage assures me they will come back if not satisfied in the spring. I do not recommend this business.- Kris G.

FBottom Dollar Tree ServiceHad this company come out two years ago and do some landscaping work for a new construction home. The backyard was graded basically level, so the water drainage was not functional at all. Since I have some clay in the soil the water just collects in the middle of the backyard and I have to put a sump pump in the puddle to drain it to the tree line. The ground had also settled creating a trip hazard for kids and water pools up even more after a heavy downpour. I have contacted this company multiple times and agreed to pay for the material and the company would do the labor without cost to me. Basically what I keep getting is empty promises. For a company to boast about their military service, I have found that they have no integrity to right any wrongs or to simply satisfy the customer. Especially, after I shelled out quite a bit of money. The lack of follow-through and poor communication is also evident. These are attributes that one develops after serving in the military. I should know, I have 20 years of service under my belt and have been on many deployments. Completely not satisfied at all and will go out of my way to deter people from using this company for any of their services.- Malcolm M.

A7/2019. Found evidence of carpenter ants chewing up our window sill/frame. Called Randy on Sunday night and left a message. He was at our home the next day (before noon) and treated our house. FAST!! So pleased he came out soooo quickly. FYI. He had treated our house 2 yrs prior because we had seen ants near the house. This time they were actively chewing our window frame; guestimating for a month.

AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

FThe following review is my personal experience with A1 and my own opinion only. Sadly, I did not do my due diligence on this company. It came to light from several people and digging further into reviews, after my experience with A1, that I was treated like many other customers were...horribly. My experience with the main employee, Ted, and the owner, Brett, was, how can I say without being a whiny woman, tragic at best. They both tried to intimidate and bully me when I questioned the inadequate job their company did. I filed a complaint about their improper grading of my property with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) when I could get no assistance from A1 to correct their mistakes. I suggest if you're reading this review you also read the review at the BBB website. Long story short, A1 did not adequately complete the work I paid for, the owner screamed and yelled at me when I called him on it, employee Ted conveniently forgot we spoke and in my opinion, had I been a man they would have treated me with much more respect. I would not recommend A1 or any other company affiliated with the owner or their employees. Read the reviews at as many sites as you can about this company, its owners and employees before selecting this business.
