Dave And David do extremely beautiful work. They always gives me better than I imagined possible. My new fireplace is lovely. The bathroom is gorgeous. (Dave met me at Lowe’s to pick out everything for the bathroom). They built a custom shelf to utilize the 4” behind the pantry door - they used darling beadboard for the back of the shelf. It’s unbelievably cute. I can’t recommend Jensen Construction enough.

    Precision Counters
Purchased Countertops and vanity tops at Home Depot July 2019 for installation in September 2019. Received voicemail from Precision Countertops in September that They needed more $ or they cannot install. Went to home depot to try find out what happened and why I am being charged more, they said the contractor remeasured and I need to pay more, I refused sine I had measured the countertops, my GC measured, Home Depot Measured, and another countertop installer had measured, in summary all had the same measurement and drawings, they had no explanation but said if I didn't they would not install. I paid recluctanly since it seems they would not make the install date of September 29, 2019. Next they said it was delayed for a month, terrible but no recourse so I waited. They then pushed back install to November then December until 19th of December... So after being three months late they installed in December 2019 but the countertops didn't look right. My GC was there and the intstaller asked me if I knew they had an additional seam and one in a bad place and the stone was different on the other side of the seam. My wife and I viewed the countertops after the install and were shocked that it was not what we ordered and the stone was not uniform and the seam was in a dangerous place and according to my GC and the company installing (not precision not home depot but another third party) stated it may crack at the seam due to poor placement if we put anything heavy on that area,. I was furious and spoke with Precision in Washington but the girl I was talking to was removed from the case and a new PM named brady told me they would refund my money so I can get a local contractor to replace it. Home depot got involved and I asked them for a refund and to cover any additonal costs with a new contractor. I spoke with many different people and finally got no resolution. I emailed executives at Home depot but they pushed me off to thier Admin Assistant who just stalled me and finally sent me a letter April 07 stating they cannot give me a refund. The manager at the store I paid for the countertops wanted to visit the house and I offered to have someone meet him there but he will have to pay for thier time since I was not in the area, he never replied to my emails or calls, and they secretary of the Executives sent me a letter stating I was not available for a site visit which is incorrect. So its been over 11 months and they refuse to give me a refund. I've sent over 40 emails and called many different people but there is no accountability and there are 3 different parties involved in this travesty, Precision(the ones who fraudulently upcharged me and installed 3 months late), Home depot the company I paid and have been in contact with and the local installer who made me aware of the danger of the seam and actually told me to contact Home depot or Precision to try to figure out why they did that. I just want a refund for countertops and I’ll deal with the replacement. I have incurred alot of costs having to pay my GC to meet and help the local installer since Precision did not make the schedule I had to get someone to the property to meet them and work with them.

Dave Jensen worked with us months in advance to understand what how we wanted the kitchen layout, cabinets and counter top design to be like. Dave always looks like he is thinking out loud (which he is), and that might make you think he is not listening. HE IS listening, and is very perceptive. This resulted in all kinds of mistake-avoidance that helped our project immensely, especially when we were working with the great cabinet guy (Matt Ess) at Builders Millwork Supply. When the project actually began, Dave and David were extremely professional, efficient, and effective. They also work well with their go-to electrician, who consults - then David does the work. They worked with a plumber who consulted - then David did most of that work. Every single aspect of the work Dave and David Jensen did was fantastic and perfect to the smallest detail. I can't wait to have them work on our home again.

Things were done in a timely fashion for a reasonable price. Dave had to be creative as he was modifying someone else's sub-standard work. He did a nice job without tearing everything out and starting again. Was satisfied with that work, so asked that he build this little counter top desk in a small alcove in the basement. Another contractor had said he would do, but never showed up. I guessed it was not a big enough job. No problem for Dave. Got it done then came back to put another coat of finish on it because he wasn’t satisfied. My sense is that he has a real and personal appreciation for quality and workmanship.

It went great. The guys started the project a few days after I called. They had pulled up the flooring and had fans going the first day, second day had the new flooring down very quickly and the roof repair done. And Dave still had time to do a few other small projects while he was here, including a door repair, and a countertop seam repair. His attention to detail and knowledge was very impressive!

The quality of the work met and exceeded my expectations.  I've had other remodel work done in the past and there always seems to be a few things that you wish the contractor would have done differently, but there were none in this case.  I was especially impressed with the trim work and the attention to detail.  There were a few items that went over budget because of changes that I wanted and that wasn't communicated to me until I received the final bill, but overall I feel like I got a good value for the work completed.  Dave was very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to other projects I had going on around the house.

I can't believe how uneventful this project was even though others had looked at the work to be done and commented on the difficulty and that is my testament to the skill and demeanor of these guys. Years of experience shone through every stage, we have absolutely no complaints. They even repaired previous work done by other contractors.

Dave Jensen was recommended to us by another craftsperson doing work in our home.  We had multiple projects to undertake and were concerned about quality, price, and availabilty.  In a house we were selling, D. Jensen replaced kitchen countertops and bathroom & laundry room flooring.  Both areas were done quickly, neatly, and at a very reasonable cost.  We next had D. Jensen advise us on how to repair garage doors on a duplex we owned.  D. Jensen came up with a very practical and attractive solution that saved us from having to replace the garage doors.  D. Jensen also refurbished the decks on both units in the duplex and completely remodeled the bathrooms in each unit which had significant water damage.  D. Jensen also repaired the wood fence around the duplex which had begun to sag, tip over, etc.  The finished result in each of the projects in the duplex were done with craftsman quality workmanship.  D. Jensen then helped us figure out a way to be able to use the space under the back deck of our home to store outdoor equipment.  The design was very sturdy and practical.  The panels are removable for cleaning purposes.  In all instances, we have felt D. Jensen's rates were more than reasonable.  We have since recommended him to others and are aware that he has completed an Arctic entry project for a friend and the result is quite nice.  We first met D. Jensen in January 2010 and have been engaging his services since.  D. Jensen is preparing a design for a patio cover for our home and will be working on it in the coming weeks.
