AAK 49 RemodelingDavid was prompt in providing an estimate and we were able to get the work scheduled quickly. He worked with the engineer and came up with a plan for the foundation work. He and his crew were on time, did great work, and were polite. During the course of re-leveling the house, one of the doors wouldn't lock properly, and they took care of that added repair quickly and efficiently. He explained the work to me before starting and answered all of my questions. Additionally, when I had a billing question, I got an email or text response from the office within minutes. After the work was complete, we walked through and he showed me everything that they had done. They left the job site clean. I would definitely hire them again, and recommend them to anyone else who needs work done.- Ann T.

AAK 49 RemodelingAK 49 Remodeling was prompt in their response, even after business hours and was very understanding and flexible when we had scheduling issues. I had purchased the door from the store and he picked it up since I was unable to transport the door. When they were installing the door, he encountered some issues with the door and hinges that were provided by the store. To fix this issue, he had to go back to the store, return the door, and pick up an entirely new door and hardware. At this point, he could have charged me extra for having to run back to the store for another door (at least 1.5 hours extra of work), but since it was not directly my fault that the incorrect hardware had been given, he did not. He was very understanding that we were trying to sell our home in a timely fashion and understood our situation financially. He was easy to work with and I would use AK 49 Remodeling for any other remodeling that I may have. I would recommend this business to others who are looking for a well done project.- Zachery H.

AKLONDIKE DOOR SERVICEThey are responsive, helpful, courteous, and resonable in their pricing. They have done great follow-up and have been very willing to answer questions. Their warranty service is excellent. I would not consider using an alternate vendor. Can't say enough good things about them. One window came scratched from the manufacturer and was replaced without question. We plan to have the rest of the windows replaced next summer. AABC IncThe fellow arrived at the scheduled time, set up on the deck and removed the old door and frame. The work took him into the afternoon, but everything was done professionally. The original door did not fit the frame properly; you could see a little open space on one side. Not a good thing in Interior Alaska winters. So, he had to do some work to fix that and put in the new frame. I am very happy with the results and would hire ABC again for other projects.- Eileen L.

AOverhead DoorGarage door still would not go up the first time so we called them back. The man lubed the tracks and adjusted the pressure on the up motion and checked both remote operation. Our door now works great the first time and the company didn't charge me for the second trip. Very nice and responsive people.- Barbara A.

AFrom the moment of setting up an appointment to having the work done, all was accomplished in a professional, knowledgeable and friendly way. I had four windows (big) and outside door done the first round starting with Jesse and Bobby, and two windows the second round, Brian, Jacob and Tyrone. Everyone from start to finish, including the ones in office setting up the appointments and job times, were excellent. They answered any questions I had and made sure everything met with my approval. And they do an excellent job of clean-up! I will definitely recommend this company and have more windows for them to work on in the future. I must add that this is a '60s log house and they made sure that the outside integrity of the home was not compromised by putting in the windows; they worked within the existing frames on the outside (other than the two egress windows I had to have, but they are on the backside of the house).
