AStraight Ahead Construction, llcIt went well! Mike often arrived as I was leaving for work. When I returned he had cleaned up, drop cloths still in place. The only delay was due to drying tiles. At first I thought these heavy tiles might be prone to slippage but they are intact. the result is a tasteful, professional job that has held up well.- Claudia A.

AKeesler Construction & RemodelingChad Keesler is extremely professional. His keen eye for detail and years of experience helped me to creatively solve problems during my 1940s house remodel. His work is beautiful, and I love the way the place turned out. This project offered lots of challenges, and Chad was tenacious in meeting each one skillfully. I highly recommend Keesler Construction for an project large or small.- Jody H.

AAlthough we ran into many complications ie, bees nest in the wall, electrical and plumbing issues, unsquare log walls, challenges of working in the middle of winter...Jason and his crew were able to press through completing the job with professionalism, dedication and patience. I would highly recommend Spartan Construction LLC for even the most challenging project.

AThey did a phenomenal job. A couple months later when I left Alaska, I got a call from a friend that my heating unit went out and pipes broke. Big Street Construction came out and handled things quickly and easily. They assisted me with dealing with my insurance and is the best in Alaska. They are all super friendly and so helpful! Very affordable. I'm unsure of the exazct cost as it was a few years ago but I just signed up and wanted to let everyone know how amazing this company is.

BI have used them twice. They satisfy a particular market need and they provide lower costing workers. My friend says largely because they are utilizing union workers post hours. They can bid lower because they are using guys at least some of the times, who are supplementing union work. That basically describes the niche. They definitely bid under the others. The cost of labor is certainly competitive not to my surprise. Of course the material cost are all the same. As far as the quality of work I would not describe it as high end. It is more functional and proficient. The reason I called them back was because they bid low. There was a lot of finished work that needed to happen in order to meet the original objective just to make a conversion of a single family home into two apartments which involved adding a kitchen, finishing a storage space and making improvements to the renovation throughout. They did all the big stuff but there was a lot of little stuff. They were putting in a competitive bid and I was trying to save as much as possible. I didn't bring them to come back and do some work at home. I had some challenges with the door. They installed the door frame with an unconventional wall mount and I needed them to come back and correct it and they came back corrected it. It seemed to be sufficient but it still has a couple of new . that we work around. Another contractor probably would not have touched it because it wasn't the code specific. They are willing to consider unconventional requests. They did cleanup. Shawn the communicator and then he works with one guy . available.
