    JENNIFER HUGHES PHOTOGRAPHY
Jennifer was excellent! She was patient with our toddler and caught his attention and smile throughout the sitting. We were not sure what we wanted when we walked in and she was great giving us ideas and going through different poses. (All in a very quick toddler attention span timeline) We have so many great proofs we had to narrow down our selection to fit our budget.

    Caitlin Elizabeth Photography LLC
Her skill, creative eye and patience with my four-legged friend (and me) is simply first-rate. I have used a pet photographer in the past, but have never seen photos that captured my pup with such personality as Caitlin did. Caitlin is a true professional when it comes to shooting: using the best equipment, arrives on time and delivers proofs in no time. The hardest part is deciding how many of the amazing prints you’re going to order! Schedule a session with Caitlin Elizabeth Photography and you’ll have beautiful pictures to memorialize your loved ones. Thanks Caitlin!

She is a great photographer.  She wasn't very expensive.  Her photography is absolutely beautiful because it definitely captures individual's personalities.  I can really compare her art to Dorothea Lang.  She just goes way above the normal photography.  She does really well.  The funny thing is, I'm a photographer and I go to her for pictures.

    David Jensen Photography
He specializes in pets but i used him for my wedding. He inspired me to become a photographer. He was able to get people to feel calm and happy. I think that is because of this demeanor and personality. The reason I used him was because he had the best price at the time. He has so many different prices and packages to put together for you. He will cater to what you want and customize it for you. His passion is pets but he is able to so much. He even does senior portraits.

    WAL-MART PORTRAIT STUDIO
We got the luck of the draw and our photographer was new to photography with this company - she was very unknowledgeable about small children. For example at one point she wanted him on his stomach with his head up looking at her... again he was 1 month old. I was a very agitated first time mother who went to a lot of trouble to get him in for pictures and thought I would get some great shots. Not the case after the shoot - we went to the computer to pick out the shots we liked. Let's say that my child didn't have one good picture out of approximately 25+ pictures. She couldn't capture him - it was terrible I left without purchasing any picture packages. About a year later I decided to go back and look at the poor pictures to see if there was at least one worth purchasing. We ended up getting one picture in black and white color, but due to the time frame we had to pay an additional $20 to then order for another $15. Overall that was one expensive 8x10. Will never use their services again!

    KIDDIEKANDIDS
We checked the website to see if we needed to make an appointment but it said walk ins welcome so we went. When we got there we were told they were short staffed and wouldn't be able to get us in before they had to close. They gave us a coupon for a free 8x10 for our trouble. We scheduled an appointment for our next visit. It was the last one of the day and the people before us weren't done on time. We got in for the sitting and when we were almost done were told that it was almost time to close the store. Before they had a chance to tell us we'd have to come back, I mentioned that this was already our second visit. We finished up and then rushed through selecting the pictures for our package. Then when we tried to use our coupon, we were told that it didn't apply to the package we bought. The gal who was working was trying really hard to give us the best service she could considering she was alone, but it's horrible to give parents with newborns the run around!

    JC PENNEY
I had an appointment for 12:30 and arrived 10 minutes early. It was a mad house and there were at least 30 people waiting in the wait area. I checked in and waited 40 minutes for my session, even though I had an appointment. I wasn't in the studio more than 10 minutes then I was told that I would have to wait about a half hour before I could select my pictures. I asked if there was any way I could come back later, and they said that I wouldn't be able to use my coupons if I didn't wait. I waited for an hour and still wasn't called on, so I went to ask when I could expect to make my selections. The girl told me I was next. Half an hour later when the next computer opened up, they called someone else. I checked in again and told them waiting longer wasn't an option as I had been waiting with a one year old for more than 2 hours after making an appointment. They finally relented and let me schedule a time to come back and select my pictures. Unfortunately, I had to go back the next day. And then I had to make another appointment to come and pick up my pictures. It took 3 trips and more than 6 hours to get this done. I thought JC Penney would be a nice relatively inexpensive place to get photos and it turned out to be a huge waste of time. At least I got some cute photos.

    Spark Photo
I found Gary's flyer for a "boudoir" photo shoot and thought it would be a great Valentine's day present for my deployed husband. I met with him and he seemed very professional. We set up an appointment for the photoshoot for the following week. Whe I got to the shoot, he immediately began hitting on me and making EXTREMELY vulgar comments. I expected a little bit of that, since I was doing a lingerie shoot, but he took it to the extreme. After the shoot, he promised me that the photos would be ready in time for Valentine's day. When he didn't call me as expected, I called him. He didn't answer, so I left a message. When he didn't return my call, I called again and left a message, as well as sent him an email. When he didn't respond to those, I got suspicious and did an internet search on him (I admit, I should have done that before the appointment.) I found out that he was being investigated by the Maryland attorney general for taking people's money for photography services and then not giving them the photos. The amount of money he stole from people was over $30,000. He left Maryland and moved up to Anchorage, and according to the news release I found, he said he had gotten out of the photography business. Obviously, he picked up right where he left off in Maryland. This man is a con-artist and a pervert.
