    Byler stripped all the trees off of the lot removing any privacy to the new owner and the surrounding property owners.  Byler dropped huge trees on to my own property and trespassed on other surrounding property with downed trees and dirt work.
    The Byler crews left food trash, cigarette butts, pop cans up and down the home road.  The Byler work trucks left oil spills, dirt and rocks up and down the home road that they are required by MSB ordinance to clean up.  The Byler construction trucks and trailers busted down the home road shoulders.
    Though the home got built, the site itself is ugly.  Byler left piles of downed trees, piles of dirt and a driveway full of boulders.
    I and others contacted Byler Contracting Office regarding the trespass and construction road mess and received no response.

    I would not recommend this company to do any construction work, or damage restoration. For a company that has been operating for over 30 years I was astounded at the poor quality, lack of follow through and mistakes in billing that occurred. Although this company came highly recommended to us, we have passed on this information to that business to let them know how poorly their  recommendation worked out. 
    This was an insurance paid restoration after water damage on the second level of our home on Oct 27.2013.  The project manager, was ill equipped for the job. Took weeks before a schedule was put together and once that was finally done, they did not meet any of the deadlines. Half way through the project, we had to point out that they had over 3k in charges for work that was not performed and materials that were not purchased,. After sending the spec's on the replacement shower , getting it unpacked, and ready to install, discovered that drain and commode had to be moved, and wall extended for it to fit. Plumbing was not centered. Since we were living in the home while the work was being done, we requested and paid for them to clean up at the end of  their  work day. I would come home and find nails, screws, wood chips, plaster in my tub , unusable, nothing swept up, debris not removed from the property. Fan in one  bath installed incorrect, had to have rewired. Blood from a worker left on the wall in two area's that was not cleaned up.  Flooring installed with out prep work had to be taken out and re installed,  Found two scratches in flooring after the second time and was so disgusted just had them repair the vinyl.   Bathroom linen closet was not taped off before they textured, so had texture sprayed all over my linens and other items that were stored in it.. After I complained they came over and boxed it all up and left for me to clean. Tried unsuccessfully to reach the owner of the company and was not allowed access. Did not submit timely estimates to insurance company after additional work was needed.  Project Manager did not show up for meeting with sub-contractors.  Front screen door broken twice from leaving in the open locked position after leaving for the day.  House left unlocked and key left in the house when they left one day and we were not home from work yet. Delays in work created months worth of additional contents storage Took over 7 hours for them to paint one "small" bathroom, resulting in us having no restroom for and entire day! . Cabinets - counter top installed in kitchen, was not cleaned, full of sawdust, and debris, had to clean them myself.  Door stops not re installed in two rooms. issues with hard wood flooring had to have them come back and re-do.  Found the painter cleaning his buckets and brushes in our  sink even after I specifically asked them to be careful as our home was on a septic system and chemicals could destroy it. Had to have them come back twice to strip and wax kitchen floor initially it was just spot cleaned, and waxed over. Filthy! Shelving in bathroom closet not secured, closet doors ? had to be reset twice.   Downstairs closet doors would not open after install had to have them come back and fix. Trim work in bathroom is already starting to come off.  Items that were packed and stored by Bema were found damaged, was told to bill against our insurance. After all the work was "finished" the final bill was brought over and once again we found almost another 3k in errors.  They even tried to charge me a tax although my residence and their business in not in a taxed area. I finally refused to pay unless I spoke with the owner of the company, I met with him and went over the 6 thousand dollars in mistakes in charges, showed him photos of the work performed, the damaged items, the dirt left behind each day. When I asked him how he would like to resolve this he said he was very sorry. Took the final check and handed me a receipt. I could go on for much longer but as far as I am concerned this is :
    1. 1. Not an honest company to work with. 2. Check every item that you are being charged for, their "errors" added up to over 6K.
    2. 3. They went well over their estimated time line by months took over 6 months to have our work completed. {our house was built from the ground up in less than 3 months }4. Be prepared to have them come back time and time again for shoddy workmanship. 5. Be prepared to clean up after them.
    3. I would not recommend this company to do any construction work, or damage restoration.     We find them to be trustworthy. They repaired a leak at our house. They came in and discovered there was a thing left out. They went through and repaired the issue. Everything was done well. The owner's name is Jim. We know, like and trust him. We decided to use him and they did a very good job.

    Wolfe Homes is no longer in business because the owner has had a stroke and can no longer perform cognitive thinking. The only thing quality about the home was the excavating and foundation. We can see now that he cut costs where ever he could. We requested and paid for a trex deck but had to settle for wood railing because he didn't know how to do trex. Framer was not licensed and he did framing and siding. Paint is so thin on exterior that it will need to be repainted in 2 years. Grey shows through on the boards from base.  He used his son to lay our wood laminate flooring (instead of a professional installer) and it is an absolute
    disaster with damaged boards and separation from a month in. The concrete siding falls off with the slightest of wind and has to be
    completely replaced because they used too short of nails and nailed too high so the air gets under the board and pulls it off. They will not stand behind their work. Extremely poor communicators. Lied to us about the asphalt. We requested a certain company but told us their bid was too high and went with another, then wouldn't allow them to complete their job and we were left with a mess which we had to have redone. We were instructed that any questions we had for the owner/builder had to go through his wife first, but when anything goes wrong she's the first to say that she has nothing to do with the business. She has continued to make up things we supposedly said to make herself look good but continues to contradict herself. We have close to $60,000 in problems that arose within 1 month after moving in but they won't back the 1 year warranty. Ironic they are no longer in business. I wouldn't wish this nightmare on anyone! Joshua Wolfe is just as bad as his father and I would not recommend work done by him either. Unfortunately can't trust any of this family.

    We fell in love with the house after one walk through and placed a bid, our bid was taken before the parade of homes.  We know quality when we see it and the house nor builder has not let us down the past 3 months we have been owners.  The contractor is quick to see to any need u may have.

    When a bid was submitted by JJ's Customs General, well under my budget and with an quick emailed invoice, I was very excited to have our projects completed to our condo.  However, as the date to begin approached John June, the owner whom I had been emailing back and forth, no longer emailed back with any timeliness.  Also, when I called to set the date verbally (as I had already been in contact about the date through email), Mr. June didn't know what I was talking about.  I thought it was odd, but I was confident that the job would get done.  However, the day before the arranged start date I called to get an arrival time to my house, and was told by Mr. June that he had me scheduled for the day after and he would not be able to leave the job he was working on.  When he said he would call the next day to set an arrival time, I knew it would never come to fruition.  So no call and a no show on the day we had agreed upon to begin our door and bathroom remodel.  I am just grateful that I hadn't paid anything up front.
