Great. I am a tough fit for contacts. I require Multifocal toric lenses. My Rx is on the borderline of being unable to wear them. The contact dept was great at trying everything possible so I can golf and ski. Dr Lane is wonderful! She is super professional and knowledgeable all while being down to earth.

I am a very tough fit for contacts. They have been really diligent in fitting me with a great lens option.  It is the best office/providers that I have visited in my 35 years of wearing corrective lenses, both contacts and regular glasses.  My family been a patient since Dr Tony and Becky were practicing with her father, Dr. Jan Nyborer.   My husband and I currently see Dr. Lane and could not be happier with her exceptional level of professional and knowledgeable care.

Excellent! Professional and courteous staff.  Best of all, some innovative approaches to eye problems.  Staff in the optical department are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond.  Highly recommend!

They took real good care of me. They've got a real good reputation for taking care of folks. They are wonderful people. They take Medicare. They are really good and surgically wonderful. They'll work with one's Medicare and they are just great.

    Alaska EyeCare Centers
I have been using Alaska Eye Care Centers for about 10 years now. First the one in Anchorage and for the past five years, the Wasilla office. The Doctors and Techs are all very professional and also very nice. I feel that I get excellent care and will continue using them for all my eye care needs.

This place is quick. So quick sometimes that it leaves your head spinning. My pre-screening was almost comical in its efficiency. No more than 2 minutes after I sat down in the waiting room, the pre-screener lead me into a room where she administered 4-5 tests: Look in here, tell me what that says, now i'm going to blow air in your eyes. What I really like about this place is there are usually two or three people who can help you with any one thing you want to do. And everyone is friendly and interested in getting you through the process with the least amount of hassle. Great selection of frames. Very professional staff.

It went very well. I got to a very comfortable waiting room, with very friendly reception staff, I saw Dr. Liz Lane and she was very personable and knowledgeable. Afterwards, I picked out glasses and was helped to figure out what add on's I wanted - polarized, no glare etc. They called me 2 weeks later to let me know my glasses were ready for pick up.

I was very happy with the results of my surgery. The day of the surgery went very smoothly. However, their business model is almost industrial. The Dr. is in town from Seattle for only a couple days a month and during those days they do about one procedure every 5-10 minutes. It is effective and efficient, but a very strange process to go through. An assembly line for fixing eyeballs. I was not impressed with the pre-surgical appointment. I was left waiting in the exam room for between an hour and and hour and a half without being checked on or given any updates. I understand that doctors offices can run behind, but the staff that day was completely unapologetic. The rest of the staff I dealt with for scheduling, billing, and day-of care were all nice and competent.

My kid is super excited to go to new places and meet doctors and have them check her out. So her first visit to the eye doctor was a big deal for her. She is 3, and very well behaved. Nonetheless they were very patient with her, the doctor took time to examine her properly and the entire environment seemed very child friendly. They were very thorough. The lady at the sales and repair fixed my glasses for free. My insurance is supposed to cover everything, but their billing office made a mistake, so I was billed for everything. I called the practice they apologized and called me back and resolved the issue. Definitely going back there again.
