    Cusack, Dr. Michael L.
Dr. Cusack basically prescribes the same treatment for all acne cases. In addition, he has his assistants do acne extractions and we had no idea the qualifications of these folks. We thought we were getting treatment by a doctor/dermatologist. He spends less than 10 minutes with you and has his assistant do the rest. They are not estheticians, nor are they nurses. That was the most disappointing. They were friendly, however, and she did receive some relief, but we eventually quit going and found more help from her regular physician. I wish I would have been more proactive in asking for more details on his coworkers qualifications.

There are a lot of reviews that are negative regarding the availability and the long waiting list for new patients. That was a concern, but decided to confirm the appointment and wait. I was very, very happy with this office. Very professional, very good communication, great treatment.

It went great! The staff is very nice, and greeted me warmly. Dr. Cusack is very straightforward and to the point. There wasn't a lot of hemming and hawing about how I COULD use this product or that product, but that THIS product was the best. It was right to the point of family history, an exam, and diagnosis.
I have gone back since, and will continue to use Dr. Cusack :).

I had a strange growth on my leg; wasn't sure what it was. It's so hard to get a dermatologist appt. in the Valley, as there is only one out here, so I went looking for someone in Anchorage. Picked this one from the phone book; my experience was pretty good. When I made the appointment in February, they were booked until April, but the receptionist asked if I had an active skin cancer. I said I wasn't sure, that was why I wanted the appt. She found an opening for me on March 4, which was about 2 weeks from the time I called. The appointment was very quick--a PA removed the growth and sent it for testing; it came back as a basal cell carcinoma, so I had some medication and will return for a followup. It seems fine, although the mark from where it was removed was pretty red and raw looking for quite a long time; I had a mole removed from my arm about 10 years ago, and that went much more smoothly and healed much faster and better--that doctor took care to put in a stitch under the surface so there wouldn't be any scarring--not sure what will be left from this procedure. All in all; quick and efficient service, good interaction with staff.
Fair warning, it took me a long time, even with GPS, to find the office and to park. It's part of the complex around Providence Hospital, in one of a group of towers. There's a parking garage near the building, but it's a bit of a hike from the parking into the building, and then finding the suite within the building was also a challenge. The office is very nice, and the staff were all great. I'll continue to go there to have any skin issues treated. They are not a preferred provider for my insurance; the office visit and removal cost $340, but my insurance did reimburse me $250.

    Senter, Dr. Thomas P.
I use Dr Bocochicca in the same office. I have used him for skin cancer removals and complete body scans for skin cancer and find that he is ver professional. His treatments, removal procedures and over all knowledge is excellent. I would and will recommend him and the overall office with a top notch recommendation.

I filled out my paperwork ahead of time and arrived at the office for my first visit. I had to wait for a few minutes while I was processed but was then shown back to an exam room and spoke to the doctor's assistant. The doctor came in a few minutes later and had a good understanding of my past medical history from reading my records. We discussed my prior treatments, what had worked and hadn't worked, and where I wanted to go. He explained a lot of different options and helped determine a plan for me going forward. He was incredibly informative and made me feel so much better than my previous dermatologist! He told me more about the medication I was on than the dermatologist that had described it! I look forward to returning to FCSC now that they know me and I'm working with them!
