    Quesnell, Dr Doug G.
I enter office, sign in and pay my copay. It takes about five minutes. And I am called back for pressures checks. Then u see the doctor and discuss how eyes are behaving and he checks my eyes. We discuss treatment and make a follow up appointment and off I go.

He offered a brief prayer before surgery, which I appreciated and helped me a lot!  My insurance, Premera (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) pays 100% for this (after I pay my deductible)which is why I put N/A in the Price rating.

Examination went well. Their billing department practices are miserable. Billed for procedures not done. Took 2 years to get it corrected. Was threatened repeatedly with collections agency threats for a erroneously billed procedure.

He is very good. He knows what he is doing. He cares about his patient. He does not communicate. The shunt in my eye that was both so numb, he was the only one who got it done. He is very thorough. I like him. His staffs were not very personable.

The lady that checked us in for our appointment is obviously very bored and not friendly at all. The lady that scheduled our next appointment was very nice and professional. Too bad the other lady doesn't value her job. If they lose customers because of her, she probably won't need her job.

I had my annual eye exam done by Dr. Quesnell. The exam met my expectations but I feel as though I was overcharged because my wife and daughter received the same services but their visit was covered by insurance and I had to pay an additional $200 eventhough we are covered by the same insurance. My daughter ordered glasses in May and it took 4 weeks to receive them and they were supposed to be temporary because the frames she ordered were on back order. She was supposed to receive a call when the correct frames arrived. We have yet to receive a call and it is now December.

I have had very little contact with him. Mostly, the staff took care of things there. He's being very responsive though. I have new eye condition and he called back right away and he agreed with my self-diagnosis and he is just going to confirm that today. His office is a well laid out building that you don't need a road map for and it's quiet and the acoustics are good.

They were recommended by my eye doctor when I first went to him two to three years ago. They were very professional. They explains you what is going on like pain in the operation if one had cataract surgery and it sounds like they are very good. They did their some waiting, but that happens in medical. I had no trouble with any billing, pharmacy or anything. The outcome of surgery was outstanding. I would use them again.

PCLI is incredible. I have been referred to them for consultation on cataract surgery and possible corneal grafting. I am a rather complex case with several eye issues. I had cataract surgery in both eyes now one in July and one in October. I was extremely anxious with the first surgery and they discovered an irregular heart beat in the pre-op, gave the ticker tape to take to my Dr. which led me to a cardiologist who discovered I have a blocked carotid artery. I will be having surgery on that at Sacred Heart tomorrow. I could possibly owe my life to PCLI.

I have probably lost vision in this eye. So I just want everyone to know if this happens to see a good Ophthalmologist. If you do go to Dr. Sung please get a second opinion. Hes probably a very good physician, but hes totally overworked and just doesnt have time to give proper care. It frustrates me that he didn't tell me this from the very beginning so that I could possibly salvage my vision.
