Urology reviews in Tucson

  • I was able to make an appointment within 4 days of calling to discuss my concerns about overactive bladder, as tentatively diagnosed by my GP. Wanted to get an expert opinion.
After a brief wait, met Dr. Provider name locked. , a genial yet business-like M.D. who did a urine test and asked me many questions, taking careful notes. He told me the test was fine, which was reassuring. He questioned me carefully and determined I do not have OAB. We discussed both alternative and traditional medical steps to take for the mild symptoms I have, which come with aging.
He gave sensible advice, is open to some alternative relief,  and since leaving my problem has eased considerably.I would definitely see him again if needed.

  • All of my experiences with Dr. Provider name locked. have been good and the medical outcomes of his work have been excellent.

The only unexpected incident that occurred during my years of treatment by Dr. Provider name locked. was when he suggested a screening test several years ago. It seemed like a good idea to me so I agreed and did not ask how much it cost. As it turned out, the test cost $1000 and my portion of the cost was much higher than my normal co-payment because the lab that did the test was an out-of-network supplier. The surprise was mostly my fault because I should have asked what the test cost before agreeing to take it.

  • I am happy with the postoperative results- continence is slow to return, but bladder emptying is excellent, and Mr Happy remains very happy. There is minimal blood loss with the laser technique (the old roto rooter would cost a unit or so for quite a few guys), but some minor burning is present for several months.
