  • My recovery has gone exceptionally well. I will always be thankful and grateful that I was sent to him. Suzanne is Dr. Shapiro's Medical Assistant, and Joleen Cox is the Nurse Practitioner who works with him. All three of them are happy to answer questions and assist you with your recovery.

  • He performed arthroscopic surgery on my right knee and trimmed a complete meniscus tear, as well as evened out the edges around a 13 mm hole in the back of my knee cap. I can walk without pain, and have already done 4 hikes since the surgery. I would highly recommend him. He is a joy!

  • Got a big run around. First doctor could no longer operate. Never was able to find out if another doctor was assigned as no one ever answers the phone or returns phone calls. Went to a different group with wonderful service and a doctor that is willing to sit down and talk to me and not trying to rush me out the door without answering my questions or concerns.

  • Dr. Tucker turned out to be an excellent choice. She explains the situation well, listens well even though it obvious she is busy as are all good doctors, and did excellent surgery on me. The recovery was very easy. I was 59 years old and in relatively good health - just was unfortunate to inherit osteoarthritis. Everyone at the hospital and physical therapy told me that Dr. Tucker's patients always do really well. TOTALLY AGREE!!! I am again hiking without pain - went 7 miles the other day with no pain or swelling. Furthermore, my back feels so much better now because Dr. Tucker lengthened my left leg so my hips were aligned. I am extremely happy.

  • I fell and broke may ankle...all of it. The surgery required 3 plates and nine screws to reconstruct. She was reassuring, patient and did a fantastic job! She runs her office in a professional manner, is always on time (and sometimes early) for appointments, and listens well. I had some difficulties during my recovery, but she stayed engaged until I was well. Can't recommend highly enough.

  • Dr.  Cohen changed my life with my left knee replacement. I have rheumatoid arthritis and osteo-arthritis caused by a car accident. This resulted in a shattered left patella and 2 broken femurs.. Consequently there was a leg length difference for which Dr. Cohen had to compensate in my surgery. It took a lot of extra operating time but he straightened my leg and made both legs the same length. He is a perfectionist. It took extra operating time but I no longer need a walker or cane. I'm even playing golf again.

  • I had an injection about 4 weeks before this follow up appointment and it did not work for me. The night before my appointment I got a phone call from billing telling me I owed money from my first treatment that the insurance did not cover and I had to make a payment before I could see Dr. Damper. I have not even received a bill in the mail yet! I cancelled my appointment as they had told me the procedure was covered by insurance to begin with.

  • He diagnosed me with something that my current doctor said doesn’t exist, and wanted to operate right away.  He didn’t recommend a good physical therapist for me.  I unfortunately cannot recommend Dr. Klein.  The office and staff are not pleasant.

  • Personable, professional. Recommendations made sense to me.described two options, ordered and evaluated Xrays. Used film Xrays; most of my doctors have digital images so this seems old-school. For second opinion, I'll need to physically pick up films. No reason to doubt competance, but I'm not an expert and routinely seek second opinion prior to surgery. Seems to have extensive experience with this condition. Got me in for consult quickly. Planning on December surgery. Selected based in part on US News Best Docs search engine, and membership is foot/ankle orthopedic association.

  • He took x-rays and let me know I had no joint damage (I have RA and it is always a concern). I had an appt with my rheumatologist soon after so we decided it was a rheumalology issue. I felt so much better knowing my knees are still ok.
Dr. Wood was teally nice, and prompt.
