  • 2. Since its a teaching hospital, had to be seen by resident first. That was OK and MD I saw did thorough intake. Then supervising Professor of Palliative Care came in. Noticing from notes I'm an attorney and live in affluent neighborhood, she said ,"you're a professional and deserve the very best care. You may want to try Northwest Clinics." I was appalled and said, "EVERYONE deserves the very best care!" She back pedaled but I left vowing never to return.

  • I arrived at the office at my scheduled appointment time.  I waited 1.5 hrs.  My prior visit I waited for over an hour as well.  The doctor did my exam and I had a few questions.  Due to her busy schedule, I felt rushed.  Overall, I feel as though she did a good job and I was pleased with my quality of care.  I work full time and don't have a schedule that enables me to wait an hour + for my appointments.  Because of the long waiting times, I have changed doctors.

  • I really like Dr. Provider name locked. . She is excellent and one of the first doctors who actually will sit and talk to you and ask questions. She explains a lot (she talks quickly and some of it goes over my head), but much of it is helpful. She is gentle and thorough and generally a great doctor. I like that she is a little older than me and understand a woman's concerns.
My only complaints are that she often runs off schedule. My last appointment I had to wait over an hour. Also, her nurse "C" isn't very friendly or helpful. If you ask her anything, she seems put-off. When I asked her about Dr. Provider name locked. 's lateness during my last appointment she told me she was too busy to deal with it or know what was going on. I make a mental note not to say much during my time with her.
Also, the front desk is sketchy. They are somewhat friendly, not very helpful and don't see it as their job to inform patients if doctors are running behind, etc. "I deal with several doctors and cannot keep track of them all," I was told. I understand, but when you see someone sitting there for an hour, you might want to find out. It is partially what you are there for, right?
All-in-all, Dr. Provider name locked. is worth it for me to deal with any other little quirks of the practice and staff.
