  • I had been seeing this provider routinely; multiple times each week for months.   Each month the provider talked me into purchasing larger quantity packages.  I was purchasing packages even before I used up the previous 2 packages (a package of 30; a package of 10 one-hour tickets).   The provider's rent was due (April 1) and wanted me to purchase another package of 30.   I said I would consider it once the ones I had were used up.   The provider (Provider name locked. ) would not honor the 1-hour tickets in the packages that I had previously purchased unless I purchased another package of 30.  I explained how this was not a good thing to do (extortion).  I offered to help her out by using multiple tickets each day (2 to 4 tickets) to help speed up so as to reach completion of all tickets.  The provider refused and blamed me for her not having rent money.

  • The staff throughout the entire process were all very courteous.  The therapist was very helpful in talking about my needs and what she would do.  She always assessed my comfort level throughout the session and I can certainly say the therapist did her job exactly.  She worked on all my troublesome spots and I walked out feeling tons better than when I walked in.  The services were definitely very well done!
The downside came when it came time to pay.  When I went to the website I was under the impression that as a first time customer I would be offered and would pay the $79.99 fee for a 90-minute massage.  After the massage was over, I was told that there is a membership that is offered that is $59.99 per month and that gives you a 60-minute massage each month.  However, as she continued to explain I realized that it was $59.99 per month PLUS the actual cost of any massage over the standard 60 minutes.  There was also a $40 enrollment fee that would be waived if I signed up that very instant.  When I asked whether the membership was a contract -- the girl said, "Yes!"  In other words, I'd be locked in for $59.99 per month for 12 months.  That's what turned me off and I decided I'd pay the fee for the 90-minute massage for that day.  However, the $79.99 for the 90-minute massage was the introductory price if you became a member and therefore the $40 enrollment fee was waived off of the $119.99 non member rate! This means that when I didn't agree to enroll as a member the $40 was charged and I paid the "normal" non-member rate of $119.99 -- plus the tip.  After I paid up, the girl did tell me that they offer 3-month or 6-month pre-paid plans too, but there's a $40 enrollment on those.  The other FYI was that my membership could be frozen for up to 6 months or that if I didn't take advantage of the 1-hour massage that came w/ my monthly membership fee that I wouldn't Provider name locked. it.
It was really bothersome to find out that after getting great service I was being sold a spa membership.  That the fee for a 90-minute massage was at least 25% over what could otherwise be paid from other local massage locations or from private massage therapists.  There was never pressure to buy, but it was certainly a turnoff that the whole "truth in advertising" came out to be with "somewhat truth in advertising."
    I probably won't be returning.

  • I have been to Provider name locked. for several years. The atmosphere of her office is very peaceful and she always greets me with a smile. I went in complaining of neck and shoulder pain. During the consultation, she took her time listening to my needs and came up with an amazing plan for my treatment. She addressed  all of my painful areas-neck and shoulders-while also getting the spots I didn't know i had! She used a biomat on her table which i felt helped me relax and prepare me for the massage. I have received many massages in the past and I feel that having a massage by Provider name locked. took care of all my needs. My favorite thing was I felt she was very three dimensional with her work. I found her to be thorough and extremely professional and with my regular treatments she keeps me out of pain!
