Provider name locked. is a very pleasant store with wonderful customer service. Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. have been in business for over 20 years and take pride in being a local company. The work they did on my necklace is perfect. They have a new, loyal customer.- Julie F.
The jewelry technicians replaced the two batteries in my watch and told me that the total cost would be $24. After closing the back of the watch, they noticed that my watch still was not running. They told me that the watch was broken, but because of the difficulty in removing the back, they did not want to take their new batteries back. So, they decided not to charge me for them. I took the watch with new batteries home, reopened the back, cleaned the contacts, put the watch back together and now it works great for $0. And, I now know that the batteries are available elsewhere for $3, and I have learned how to take the watch backing off by myself. The staff was courteous and helpful. They even gave a small stuffed bear to my little boy while we were there. They offered drinks as well. I feel badly that I wasn't charged at all for the trouble.- DENISE S.
I stopped in here on my way home from class in order to pick up a couple
of small things. I used to work here, but haven't been in the shop in
several years because I returned to college and haven't had time to
pursue my hobbies. Now I am about to graduate and planning to get back
into the things I enjoyed, such as jewelry-making. But I won't be back
here again. The first thing that happened when I walked in was a young
man vaulted out from behind the counter and took my bag away from me,
telling me "we keep all purses behind the counter." First of all, I'm
insulted because the implication is that I am there to shoplift. don't
insult my honesty. Secondly, my ID was in my bag, my credit and debit
cards, my iPad, my phone--all of which are worth far more than the
piddly fifty-two cents I spent in their store. Why should I assume that
the employees of this store are any more honest than they think I am? If
I have issues with ID theft in the coming weeks, I'll know where that
came from. If they have problems with shoplifting--which every retail
business on the planet does--then they would be far better served by
getting the employees out from behind the counter (where he is obviously
on purse-snatching duty) and working the rooms, you know, where the
customers are. Really poor customer service. I won't be back. I prefer
to shop local, and there are other bead stores in town. And failing
that, it is a lot easier to shop the internet.re
