Hospital Care reviews in Tucson

Emergency waiting room was uncomfortable & overcrowded. The only promptness involved giving billing information. We were forced to wait for 8 hours & then received mediocre care for a condition my husband had, that might very well have been life threatening.
By the time we saw a doctor, we'd been waiting for 5 hours. It took three more hours for them to decide that he could go home. If the condition had not been life threatening, I would have taken him home, rather than wait that long.
If it had been me, I would have gone home to die peacefully.
A more efficient staff could have gotten us out of there in an hour. Indifferent nurses, people screaming for water, who never got it. Doctor who could barely speak English. More uncomfortable than an airport, with less amenities.
I expect we will pay thousands for this ordeal, even with insurance.
Disgusted. If I am ever forced to go there again, I will be sure to bring an air mattress with me, and enough food to sustain myself for a week..

1. Eleven hour wait in ER for a room.
2. Upon being wheeled in a bed into the room I discovered:
a. A speciment cup of bloody urine on the sink in the bathroom.
b. Paper towels covered with diarrhea in the bathroom waste basket.
c. A filthy sink with hair in it and a comb on the side of the sink in the room itself.
d. The welcome basket for washing your face and brushing your teeth kit had a used toothbrush and used toothpaste in it.
3. There was a large bag of someone's drugs in the dresser next to the bed.
4. The floor was filthy. When my wife asked that it be mopped the woman who came spoke very little English and mopped the other side of the room and just around 1/2 of my bed area and not where my wife was sitting as well as the area where the meals were delivered. We couldn't get her to understand we wanted both sides of my bed mopped.
5. There was used medical supplies waste in the waste basket next to the sink in the room itself.
It was a horrific experience. I would never want to go to such a poorly run and filthy hospital again. When I sent a letter outlining my terrible experience to the hospital president instead of a personal response of apology and such it was passed on to an underling who basically sent me a form letter stating they will pass it along to the appropriate person. Talk about their blowing off the whole experience--wow.
My wife and I are disgusted with Provider name locked. and anyone with whom we have shared our experience has been appalled.

Extremely busy practice. Took me outside of regular scheduling to help me sooner.
I arrived on time. I was seen 5mn late (so, on time).
.Things happened as they always should with an extra pinch of friendliness.
