    BRIAN J. LEVINE, M.D., P.C.
Dr. Levine was wonderful. Clearly discussed the results of my tests, my symptoms, the surgery procedures and answered any and all questions I had. Surgery was excellent, no side effects and minimal down time. Totally healed and feeling wonderful! If I ever need surgery again, I'd look to Dr Levine !

Fine, She knows what she is doing. From other people (doctors) if they heard of her name they knew she was a good doctor.

    Lee, Dr. Sarah J.
She is wonderful. My oncologist recommended several to me and he put her down as an afterthought. There was something that made him do that and that's what I paid attention to. When my regular doctor went over the list, he paused for a moment to talk about her. It was real interesting. It was almost like little messages from heaven. Something was inspiring them so I paid close attention. I interviewed two doctors and she was the second one. By the time I left her office I had my surgery date. I absolutely love her. She took real good care of me because I had some special medical needs and she addressed them. She is a general surgery with a specialty is bariatric. I would absolutely use her again. I believe in alternative medicine and for me to embrace a traditional medicine doctor is a big deal. She was fabulous.

    Agave Surgical Associates
Since 2007 I have suffered from numerous small bowel obstructions to the point where, on average, I was being admitted to the hospital with small bowel obstructions every four to five months over a twelve month period. The hospital stay would always involve a nasal gastric tube over a three day period while the obstruction relieved itself. Surgery, while an option, was couched in terms of the last alternative if the SBO did not relieve itself. Finally, Dr. Charles Atkinson of Agave Surgical Associates after examining me during my last SBO outlined a surgical alternative that he thought would alleviate future blockages. His knowledge, confidence and professionalism gave me the confidence to proceed with the surgical procedure as proposed when no other physician seemed to have an alternative except to continue with the "quarterly blockages". The procedure went off without any problem. And while its too early to know if the procedure has been successful in alleviating future blockages Dr. Atkinson's confidence, professionalism, bedside manner and knowledge was the determining factor in opting for the surgery. While only time will tell, I am confident that Dr. Atkinson's surgical procedure has eliminated what was becoming a negative life changing condition. Left unaddressed I am sure future blockages would have occurred and would ultimately result in a very serious condition and possibly life threatening event.  Dr. Atkinson and Agave Surgical Associates have my highest recommendation. I could not have asked for better medical care - something that is becoming increasingly difficult to say in today's environment. My sincere and heart felt "Thank you" to Dr. Atkinson, his staff and the staff of Tucson Medical Hospital where the procedure was performed.

    Stefanie Schluender MD
She performed a colon resection on me, taking around ten to twelve inches of my intestine out, laparoscopically. Yes, I had pain, but she was very cooperative with the nursing staff (a BIG plus for patients, trust me, folks!) On her daily rounds, she set her bag down, and sat down in a chair, allowing time for questions, but also allowing me TIME to formulate my questions. Now, She has other patients to see, and surgery to do, so the time was not infinite, but I NEVER felt like she was in a dashing hurry (which, as a surgical floor RN I see ALL too often!). She was very collaborative with the nursing staff, and when I had a minor issue with pain meds, and asked my nurse to call her, I asked "will she be upset about you calling her?". The response was an immediate "Of course not". And being a post surgical nurse myself, I KNOW there are Doctors who do NOT like to be bothered, and can become snappish and slightly dictatorial. But she NEVER was that way, granted the request which I had asked for, and I did MUCH better after that! On my follow up appointment (2 weeks out from my surgery), she was again kind and compassionate, showing me courtesy I hadn't expected. Despite my request for different/ slightly increased pain meds while in the hospital, she told me she found me a reasonable, cooperative patient. MY bottom line is this! Any hospital floor staff will tell you that Nurses and Doctors are the MOST difficult patients. I tried very hard NOT to be, but the last bit, about me being a reasonable, educated human, just floored me!! Doctors so rarely say such things as "you were a reasonable patient". AND, My surgical areas have healed quickly, and cleanly, the PREMIERE mark of a good (dare I say superb) surgeon? All I can say is I was well cared for, treated with respect, and VERY happy with the outcome! If you need a good colo-rectal surgeon, use this GREAT woman!! Can't say enough good about her!!!

The staff was courteous, prompt, there was little wait for my son to see Dr. Olson. As always Dr. Olson was professional and prepared. She made my son comfortable for the procedure and completed the task in a timely fashion. My son had a follow-up visit with no problems.

    Marshall, Dr. Timothy M.
He made the original diagnosis for my rare heart condition. He figured out my heart was misshapen, but he couldn't figure out how much. He referred me to the doctors in LA. I'll be under treatment and observation for this for the next four or five years.
