Dawn and her staff did an outstanding job in prepping, creating, serving, and cleaning up for our Wedding Reception at the Beach house we rented in Corolla, NC.  They arrived on-time, were professionally dressed, moved swiftly and with expertise in prepping the food, cooking the food, and serving the meal.
Despite challenges posed by weather (wedding ceremony moved indoors at last minute to the area adjacent to the kitchen), Dawn and her team were adaptable and kept the reception on time.
The food was fabulous!  Our guests raved about the Pork Loin and the Crab Cakes.  The side dishes of rice, potatoes, and asparagus were outstanding.  The topper was the wedding cake..... a delicious Chocolate cake with Raspberry filling.  Truly delectable.
Clean up was handled efficiently and the kitchen area was left in better condition than when they had arrived.
We will be going back to the Outer Banks in the future and while we may not have a wedding reception to plan, we will happily secure Dawn's service for future catering needs.

I have enjoyed this restaurant  when
I lived near by, before being transferred out of state.  So when I was
in the area last week, I called and made reservations for my group, no
problem.  However, when we arrived, they said a reservation did not
exist and refused to try to accommodate us.  The jerk we talked to was
VERY rude and refused to call the Manager.  He said WE could call, but
he just brushed us off as he was busy.

My daughter arranged a retirement party for me and selected Cafe 54 for the catering. We had about 60 guests who were served pulled pork sliders on fresh house-made rolls, jerk chicken skewers, stuffed mushrooms, penne pasta salad, and summer salad. I ALWAYS worry that we will run out of food, but I didn't even need to think about it. All of the food was delicious and there is still conversation about the exceptional stuffed mushrooms!
Autumn Bree worked with my daughter to choose a menu that would be light, easy to serve and still tasty. She made special accommodations for the sliders so that they would not become soggy and made suggestions about other foods that would complement one another. The delivery staff was friendly and extremelly professional. One of the men was being trained by the other--as a retiring teacher, I was very impressed with his explanations and the obvious pride they both took in their work.
I specifically did NOT want a to have a cake for dessert, so Cafe 54 provided the best dessert table I have ever seen. There were cake pops, miniature red velvet cupcakes, very chocolate brownies and chocolate mousse cups. All were decadent and beautifully presented. I can't make any criticism of any of the food or service.
Cafe 54 is a non-profit organization that trains people who are recovering from mental illness and helps them find work in the food service industry. Make no mistake, Cafe 54 is a high class, professional and reputable caterer that also does a profound service for our community. Next year when we celebrate our anniversary, I will definitely call them again.

We were very impressed by Mary Ann's professionalism! She is fun, creative, collaborative.  We worked on a menu together.  We then met prior to the party so that I could meet her Waitstaff coordinator...Vicky Randall ( who was wonderful too).  This meeting helped us prepare for the party..what colors we would use for decorations, How to prepare my kitchen for the day of the event etc.
Everything was reviewed and in writing so we clearly understood the process.
On the day of the event, Mary Ann came early and was very organized and turned our kitchen into one of the busiest machines I have ever seen.  I was able to shower and get ready and relax....I have never been able to enjoy a party at our home if I was a much as I did at this party. She is extremely professional.  The food was delicious!  I recommend her highly!

Our event was exceptionally well done. They actually have too many choices on their menu, like 20 pages long. You can specify exactly what you want. They can do just about anything. They are always very pleasant to work with and punctual. Everything you would expect from truly professional people. Their price is a little more expensive.

We needed a caterer for a quickly thrown together party for 80-100 people. Our timing wasn't great -- we had decided to cater the party right around the same time that school lets out, meaning that every catering company in Tucson was hoppin' busy with graduation parties. El Molinito was no exception, though we wanted to give them a try after hearing several friends rave about their food and service. Their manager took our name and phone number and promptly called us back with a way that he could wedge our delivery in between two existing orders. Big points from us for stretching an already busy day to try and accommodate us. The food was delivered right on time and was set up for us on tables and serving dishes provided by the restaurant. It was an impressive looking spread -- beef, chicken and vegetarian dishes, a great Mexican fruit desert and more nacho chips and salsa than we knew what to do with. Barely a nacho chip remained by the end of the night. Our guests loved the food and El Molinito came by the next day and picked up all the dirty dishes off our front porch. Gotta love that! Also loved, loved, loved the price -- a few hundred dollars cheaper than what I was quoted elsewhere for similar food. El Molinito came through for us and we'll definitely use them for our next casual event!

I placed the order several days in advance, and everything was ready when it was supposed to be. I picked it up right before the party and brought it back to my house. Everything was delicious, and I got many compliments and people asking me where I had gotten the food.

El Molinito has the best prices in town. I have used them for five years and the food is always excellent. I have never had a late delivery and they always arrive a half hour early to set up. They also upon request will do table decor and clean up.

You Name It Events was awesome. They came out to the house twice before the event to help map out where the tables, chairs and buffet would be. The food was great and very reasonable. They picked up the cake for me at no extra charge. The staff was wonderful and professional the entire time.

Blue House Catering really blew our socks off and impressed our guests. We always felt that things would be taken care of exactly as expected and that turns out to be the case. Ron and his staff were friendly, professional and extremely responsive. The food was fabulous and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. Some of our guests had used them in the past and reported the same experience. We will use them again in a heartbeat!
