Asbestos Removal reviews in Tucson

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Ken and his team were very professional, responsive, and friendly all the way from the quote process to completing the work. They were also able to give us a competitive quote, a quick timeline, and reassurance that the proper removal procedures would be followed. Really pleased with the whole experience and would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done!

  • Called to get an estimate, spoke to a scheduler and provided all the information asked. I had also called 2 other competitors and was called back within 48 hours to schedule from the competitors. I never heard anything from this company at all. I am not going to chase down people that promise to contact me within 2 days to schedule a estimate.

  • I had an asbestos situation in an older rental home that I had purchased. I had no idea what I needed to do to make this home safe and rentable. I called Ron at Artistic - he gave me a run down on my legal requirements in this situation and asked if I would like a free estimate to complete the job. Needless to say, the quote was reasonable and chose to use Artistic. The end result was terrify - they finished two days ahead of schedule and the house looked great! Thanks Artistic!

  • I had them come out and they came out 2 or 3 times, surveyed the job and then gave me an estimate and the estimate was so high, I couldn't possibly afford it. He was very nice, he also reassured me. The reason I wanted the ceiling down was because it has asbestos in it. I had it sent away and had it tested and I thought it might be causing health problems for my family and for me and I wanted to have it down and he told me it's a kind of asbestos that was in the ceiling, was not going to cause any problem, but as long as I didn't disturb it, it would not cause health problems, so he was reassuring on that fact and when the estimate came in, it was $11,000 and that is because of the state federal laws regarding asbestos, the way it has to be handled. Everybody had to be suited up, masked, gowned, gloved, goggled face mask, everything and they had to hang plastic on all of my walls, cover up all of the furniture just because of the laws about handling asbestos and that was the reason that the estimate was so very high and we decided that since he had told me and then I hunted on the internet and I found corroboration of what he had told me. If you leave it alone, it will leave you alone, so I didn't have the work done. There were quite a few other things I would rather do with the $11,000. The man that came out, I think he came out on 3 separate occasions and he gave me typewritten estimate and it was broken down into several pages, with this I know what they were going to do, so much money for rolls of plastic, so much money for the suits that all of the men had to wear, so much money for the proper disposal since it was considered hazardous waste, so the estimate was very detailed. With nothing better to do I thought I would like to have it done. Most of the time they do that on an empty house, where they don't have people to worry about or furnitures to worry about and they said also it is hardwork because it is all overhead work, so he gave me some understanding of what was involved in this. He was very thorough and explained everything to me so that I understood it. I was extremely pleased with what they did and the estimate was free, he came out 3 times and talked to me about it and surveyed the job and gave me a printed estimate and didn't cost me anything. Right then, he was knowledgeable. The price was great for an estimate, it was free. The price was way more than I could afford the cost of the work because of the nature of the work and I couldn't say what he would do with just an ordinary job, but for this particular kind of work since it was hazardous material, the estimate was really higher than I could afford, it was way too high and all of their ordinary jobs would not carry a price tag like this. I was very happy with the quality of the work that was done for the estimate that it was typed out in several pages and very detailed. He came out right away. He came when he said he was going to come. Totally professional, I can tell we understood his business. Just if I need work done, I would call them again and ask them to give me an estimate.

  • I contacted this company as they came highly recommend to me by a co-worker.  We deal with hazardous materials at my job and a co-worker had worked with employees from this company and had great reviews.
The individual came to my house and looked at the closet where a furnace was removed and asbestos was left behind.  I told him how important it was to me to get this cleaned up as soon as possible and he promised to e-mail me the estimate the following day.
I gave him a week and never heard from him.  I started called and left numerous voice mails.  I had misplaced his business card and called to ask for his e-mail address and was given the division managers e-mail.  It was all quite confusing and eventually the original person called and said he needed to come back out and look at my home to provide the estimate.  I explained my house and he vaguely remembered and said he would send the estimate the following day.  I received it a week later.
In the mean time, I contacted a different company first phone call to project finished only took 3 days.
Needless to say, I will not be contacting this company again if I happen to come across the need for hazardous material control in the future.

  • The furnace in my home was removed be an HVAC contractor and in the process asbestos was released and left behind in a small closet.  I needed the asbestos cleaned out of my house and a clear invoice in order to charge the HVAC contractor for the clean-up.
I had called a different company out for an estimate previously and it took them more than a month to respond.  This company, Environmental Strategies, was great!!!  They understood what I needed over the phone and quoted me their minimal charge for this type of clean-up.  The official estimate, clean-up, and invoice were all provided on the same day that was within days of my original phone call.  The closet was well contained during the clean up and every bit of asbestos was removed and thoroughly cleaned.
They were absolutely great!!  Very responsive, friendly and professional, quick, and thorough.  They seemed as though they truly cared about making my home safe and liveable.
I hope to never have hazardous materials in my home again, but if I do I now know who to call.
