  • On 4/24 ChemDry came to my home to clean the upholstery on my couch and chair. Before starting the job there is an area on the invoice that states prior to cleaning do the following conditions exist(ie water stains, worn fabric, yellowed, browned, rusty stains, rip/torn areas) and none were checked as material was in perfect condition before work was begun. As rep worked on cleaning the material I noticed many areas were waterlogged and he pointed to an area that was torn apparently by him since was not their previous before work started. I paid him but was not happy and intended to call and inform ChemDry of this damage. Upon further inspection after material dried some I noticed numerous tears on both couch and chair that were not there previous to rep starting his work. Furthermore I noticed many areas not even cleaned and still Provider name locked. as not only did this service rep do damage to both items but also did not even clean what he was hired to do as different waterspots were left behind. Both my son and I called several times (813)969-0000 and my son was called back 3 times by the service rep who made all kinds of excuses with no solutions. The secretary who answered at that number hedged several times on different calls until finally promising the boss would get back with me and was on vacation with no call back ever coming. After 2 more calls with no results (a total of 8 all together of messages and speaking to secretary or service rep with promises of call back) and nothing. The bottom line is this.. I am an 84 year old senior citizen on a fixed income that had my couch and chair damaged and is now worthless due to numerous tears that were not there as witnessed by invoice showing no damage before work began. Furthermore calling this company to inspect their handywork has been fruitless with false promises and no results. How can a company get away with this as this is disgusting doing damage and then no accountability or even checking into the claims that were made by an unhappy customer. I do realize accidents do happen but there is no excuse for lack of accountability or customer service to check out a dissatisfied customers claims with fake promises of calls back or boss being on vacation excuses. Be very careful and think twice before contacting these people for any work if my experience is any indication. Buyer beware.

  • They showed up on time. She told me during the estimate, "The couch is worn in many spots. We can get it clean and remove most of the stains, but only re-upholstering will make it look new." The couch was really dirty, rough looking and stained. It is now clean, virtually unstained, and I am happy with their results. She did not over promise, and I appreciate that.

  • Besides being a bit talkative over the phone, the whole experience was good. I had a large discoloration on one section of my sofa that he was able to make look a bit better. He was extremely knowledgable and hard working. Would definitely recommend using this service.
