    My 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan stopped shifting into high gear and would not go over 45 mph. I thought I would finally have to junk it. I took it to Kevin and he diagnosed the problem immediately, and explained how to fix it. He gave me a price for parts and labor. This was at 8:30, so I left it and it was out by 5:00 PM same day all fixed. It runs fine now, no problems at all. He recommended a transmission fluid flush and replacing some old sensors (I think) for which I will take it back to him to do. I added the "Electrical - Auto" category because the fix involved a sensor pack connected to the on-board computer, which is definitely electrical.

    Not to good. After they completed the work, I went back for a inspection they found it leaking. After the 4th time returning, 2 months total, the leak was finally fixed. Each time, I had no car for 3 to 6 days. No offer for a rental car. Very frustrating for me, back and forth several times, and no transportation 4 different times. Matt, the owner, very nice, they did solve the proplem. I can't give a A, so i give Jesto a B. Also, i had the alignment done 2 times by someone else, thinking the car was fixed both times.

    My Dodge Intrepid kept going into transmission safe mode aka "limp mode". Tech said the temperature sensor showed the transmission was at 1000+ plus degrees just sitting in the parking lot.  Replacing the sensor didn't fix the problem. I took the car back the next week and he suggested I take it to another mechanic that he knew.  They never refunded my money.

    We took our 2004 Chrysler Sebring in to George Fischer at Tampa Trans when I noticed a slight feeling of gear slippage.  Due to the age of our car, we were expecting the worst, but they were able to seal the leak for less than $200.  These guys are honest and they know all about transmissions.  George is a great guy.  Give him a call if you need something checked out.  You will not find a better transmission shop in Tampa.

    As I've come to expect with Andre's, it went exactly as it should.  My 15 year old Honda Odyssey needed a lot of work, and I was aware of most of it.  Bob kept me appraised of what they found, and costs, and everything was on time.  In fact, my vehicle was ready earlier than expected.

    I had a scheduled appointment for 8:00 am.  When my husband showed up, on time, to drop off the car, the gentleman was very rude.  He had just finished yelling at one of his employees in full view of everybody waiting in the lobby.  He turned to my husband and demanded what he wanted.  My husband told him we had an appt. and the gentleman turned and walked away.  My husband did not drop off our car and came back home.  I called the gentleman and he said he didn't hear my husband the first time and that was why he kept asking him what he wanted.  He went on to tell me that my husband then looked at him with disgust, like he was an idiot, and that is why he walked off.  The gentleman told me he didn't have to take looks like that from anybody on a Saturday!  Obviously, there was some miscommunication between he and my husband, but the gentleman didn't know who we were, was not expecting us, so apparently making an appointment meant nothing.  This place likes to pick and choose its customers.  For fear of retaliation, I'm taking my car to a different shop this week.  For all I know, they do good work, but with that kind of customer service, I would not recommend them.  There are plenty of other transmission shops around.

    I was not a horrible experience but I will not use them again. Finding the mechanic was very hard and I had to wait for my car. The first time I took my car, it took them 4 hours to figure out what the problem was and I already knew it. I had to reschedule to go back and it took them over 8 hours to fix one part and after it was done, they said another side needed fixing. I told them I had already spent 2 days there. When I went on the first visit they gave me a quote and after the job was done, they were going to charge me 100$ more. I felt they were not honest.

    I have gone to Fairfix many times and I have to say they are a great place. The folks are kind and honest. They work hard to give you a good deal and only charge you for the work that needs to be done. I am handy with cars and I can tell when I am getting taken for a ride. Rick and his team are class acts!

    Service went well. They explained all the needed services after detailed diagnostic and before doing any of the work. Took a bit longer to finish than they anticipated but that was not a problem. They could not do transmission service due to an over tightened plug that to open meant replacing a lot of components. They said would be ok for another 20k miles before addressing. Joe my service advisor called 3 times to keep me updated which was appreciated.
