    Westcoast Brace & Limb
They were very professional and they knew what they were doing. They accepted Medicare and with no additional hidden additional fees.

They were very careful in measuring me to make sure they would add the correct height so that I could be balanced. They are fast, efficient, and you can wear the shoes immediately. I'm really happy with how it turned out and I will be going back soon for them to adjust another pair of my shoes. They did an excellent job. I had Jeannine who did a great job setting everything up for me.

The staff was helpful once I got into the orthotics professional. They are very busy which affects their customer service. I received the boot quickly and they demonstrated the product. The experience was generally positive. I have been to this provider a couple times and have not had an instance when insurance was accepted. Their retail prices are extremely high due to the nature of the products.

It was very difficult to get the office staff to help regarding communication and authorization from my insurance company.  Initially, the office staff did not even want to check my insurance to see if this was a covered expense (which I had already assured them that it was).  It took two months to get the brace because office staff did not stay on top of it, and I was not kept informed about authorization, needs of the insurance company, what had and had not been received, etc.  I finally had to make all arrangements personally, including giving the insurance company the required product codes that they required to authorize the brace.  On the other hand, West Coast Orthotists are among the best.  Every part of the bracing was explained and all of my questions were answered.  Care was taken to assure that the recipient was happy with the look and feel of the brace.  The final product fit well and was very nice looking.  We are very happy with the final product and expect to receive good service regarding any issues that may come up with the brace.

    The Good Feet Store
After 10 days of using the arch supports as prescribed my pain grew worse. So I called the store. They asked me to come in for an adjustment. This time I saw Christopher. He was equally empathetic and refitted me for new supports without charge. After some discussion Christopher was able to provide a solution with which I was completely satisfied.

    Aqua Soles
I wore the Aqua Soles in my sneekers for two weeks.  I developed terrible pains in my shins that felt like they were focused on the bone.  I removed the Aqua Soles and the pain went away after a couple of days.  I called the salesman and the corporate distribution rep and neither would give me a refund, saying they were not guarenteed.  The rep at the corporate level told me that I needed to wear them just for a little while each day in order to get used to them.  I asked him to what end.  In other words, what would be the eventual benefit be from wearing these insoles even if I got used to them?  He could not give me an answer to that question.  If they were suppose to make walking a more enjoyable or safe experience, it was just the opposite.  They just caused a lot of pain with no therapeutic value to result.  Both the local rep and the corporate rep refused to refund  my money.

At first I used their office in Palm Harbor, so when the brace didn't fit properly, I made the trip over to Tampa and met personally with the owner.  He assured me that they would make me a brace that fit perfectly.  After making 3 separate braces - none of them fit!  I finally called Medicare and asked them what I should do and was told to find a new provider - which, thank God, I did. To me, West Coast Brace & Limb is more interested in profits and marketing - not the patient!  Awful experience!
