Recent Review: Kelli was SUPER helpful in explaining their process.  They have NO contract, just a monthly fee that you pay, like your car insurance bill.  You HOPE you never need to use it, but IF you do.....then it is sure nice to have that coverage.  Also, there is NOT a $75.00 service call fee every time you need to have a repair person visit your home.  Just the usual monthly fee, which is based upon your choice of available plans and options that you select when you sign up.  Basically, you only pay for what you need and you are not double, or triple billed for services from an UNknowledgeable or UNskilled service technician at a time you can least afford it.  Their service plans are clearly explained on their web site ((( https://www.completeprotection.net/ ))), and they also CLEARLY explain their limits on replacements on their web site as well.  Keep in mind, they seem to be more REPAIR ORIENTED rather than for REPLACEMENTS and if your item is too old or unworthy of repair, they will pay only a small portion towards a replacement item.  The small amount they do pay towards the replacement if you need it, is listed on the web site.  This helps to keep their fees down as well ! ! !  Another nice feature is that they have a list of repair companies that they will give you, so you can call and schedule your own repair, once you have a Repair Authorization Number from CAP.  The repair companies they suggest are familiar with the CAP process, and will bill CAP directly for the work.  Now if you have a favorite service provider that you prefer to use, that is no problem.  If that provider is unfamiliar with billing CAP, you can pay the provider yourself and CAP reimburses you within 10 to 14 days from the time they receive your bill.  (((Just remember to get the Repair Authorization Number from CAP BEFORE having your work done.)))  Also nice, is if you have an older home, they don't seem to have all the exclusions we read about from the other companies.       We have a home in Henderson, Nevada that we plan to rent out this fall.  We want the tenants to have reliable and trustworthy service folks available to them if they need someone.  We have read the horror stories on Angie's List, for some of the other Home Warranty options out there and some of the service providers as well.  (((You know the ones......service provider is called and MAYBE shows up when expected, or maybe not.  MAYBE they fix the problem for the $75.00 service call fee, maybe not.  MAYBE the problem is fixed this week, next week, or maybe not at all.))) Also, even though our home is new, we want to limit our financial exposure for any HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Appliance problems.  We live out of state, but still want our tenants to get quality service when necessary.  For us anyway, the choice is clear.  Complete Appliance Repair.   Oh yeah, and Angie's List of course !! his violation in 5 years. He insists he's right yet we are willing to compromise but he won't budge. We still don't have 2 ground rod protection for our house.  If anything happens we will probably be suing for more than he wants to contemplate. BUYER BEWARE now direct electric is dunning us to pay to fix his code violations and for installing a ground rod that never got finished. HAD TO SPEND $468 TO FIX DIRECT ELECTRICS SCREW UP IN OUR MUDROOM.  HIS EMPLOYEES COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO WIRE THE MUDROOM THE WAY IS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WIRED BEFORE ONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES SCREWED IT UP ROYALLY. WE FOUND SOMEONE TO DO THE WIRING THE WAY IT WAS ORIGINALLY SUPPOSED TO BE AND FINISH INSTALLING THE CODE REQUIRED SECOND GROUND ROD. SINCE MR OLSEN WILL NOT COMPROMISE WE WILL PROBABLY BE LETTING THE COURTS DECIDE

FFIRESIDE Total Indoor Comfort
Buyer Beware!! If you are looking to purchase a new heating and cooling system, we would advise you DO NOT buy from Fireside Total Indoor Comfort. This company does not honor their warranties or guarantees, lies, does not return phone calls and does not hire qualified technicians. We have had nothing but trouble with them since they first stepped foot into our home. We have had many issues, but the most recent and main complaint is the brand new thermostat that came with our system has gone out THREE times since we purchased it. Every time it has gone out, we have had to make many phone calls and messages to Fireside. No one ever returns your calls. We were told when we made our purchase that they had 24/7 emergency service. On two of these occasions, the thermostat/furnace went out in the middle of the night. No one answered their "emergency number," even after we left several messages. The most recent episode was December 2016. This was the THIRD time the thermostat/furnace quit working! We had been away all day and came home to a house with no heat. It was very cold and stormy out that night and we were freezing. We tried calling their "emergency number" and their office several times and left several messages to call us back ASAP. It was obvious no one was going to us back and we were freezing, so we contacted another company to see if they could come take a look. They answered their phone immediately and were at our home within 30 minutes. They immediately noticed the problem. They said whoever (Fireside) installed this thermostat had wired it wrong and it was extremely hot! He said he was surprised we did not come home to a fire! Luckily, we still had the thermostat from our old furnace so they hooked that up for us to get us by until Fireside contacted us. This happened in December 2016 and it is now May 25, 2017 and Fireside has made no effort to contact us to resolve this issue. Take note, we also found out the technician from Fireside that wired it wrong was also a new employee and had not yet completed his training. He did not act like he knew what he was doing and he had no one supervising him. Since Fireside would not return our calls, we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in January 2017. Fireside rejected the complaint and made no offer to settle this. It even went as far as taking them to arbitration and they refused arbitration! You would think they would to something about it to help protect their business rating but apparently they do not care about it or their customers! Fireside refuses to replace this thermostat that we have a ten year warranty on because they said we had someone else work on it. The other company did not do any work on it. All they did was hook our old thermostat back up so we could have some heat. We would not have called the other company if Fireside would have returned our many phone calls! What are we supposed to do? Sit in our house and freeze along with our pipes? We even have phone records showing we placed these calls and left messages. We are supposed to be covered for 10 years on parts and labor. All we were asking for was a replacement thermostat. We can't even fully use our full system because the humidifier that came with it will not work with our old thermostat. Our home almost burnt down from this careless mistake and Fireside won't even do anything to rectify this! We are easy going people and usually never complain, but after this nightmare, feel we need to warn others. We will NEVER deal with Fireside again and will make sure to tell all we know to do the same. We would not wish dealing with this company even to our worst enemy. Also, one more note. The other company that came to help us, found out how much we had paid for our system and said we were way overcharged. He said we should not have paid more than 10,000.00 and we paid 20,000.
