Recent Review: I can't say enough good things about Kitchen and Bath Solutions! The customer service I received right from the very first phone call was incredible. I worked with Ajara, one of their designers, and she responded to every question, and every email immediately. I was so impressed with how quickly she got back to me with every single question I had, and I had a lot. Also, she was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable when it came to helping me design our new shower. Ajara suggested tiles, colors, shower door closures, etc., but she really listened to what I wanted, she didn't push her ideas on me. I liked how she was there to give her professional opinion. I really leaned on her design eye and her experience. She's seen hundreds of remodels, so there were times when I went with her experience. That being said, when it came to colors or tile styles, I never felt pressured to pick what she liked best. I appreciated that Ajara listened to what I liked, but was there to steer me back if my ideas got a little off course. The other thing that I was most impressed with was the impeccable work of the crew. The men who came out to work on our shower were truly masters at their craft. I am a perfectionist to a fault, but I can honestly say, that the work these men did is 10-star! I would come home, and be amazed every time. The tile and grout work, the seat and shelves, the placement of the grab bars, installation of the shower system, and gorgeous glass shower doors, really are a work of art! Lastly, I'd like to comment on the professionalism of everyone who works for Alberto at Kitchen and Bath Solutions. They gave me a timeline, and they stuck to it. Alberto, the owner, was so good at contacting me about what day they'd be out, and what they were going to accomplish that day. The crew was respectful of my woodwork and my floors throughout our house as they demolished the 32yr. old bathtub enclosure, and as they spent the next eight days or so in and out of the house. I always prefer to work with a local, small business whenever I'm doing any kind of work on our home, and boy am I glad I found Kitchen and Bath Solutions to create the shower of my dreams!

Recent Review: We had some work done on our bathrooms by Time 2 Remodel approximately 1.5 years ago and over time noticed that in one of the bathrooms the shower was slowly leaking into the drywall next to it each time we showered. When I contacted Curt about it he didn't hesitate to make it right. After a few unsuccessful attempts to repair it, he replaced the shower at no cost to us. (The only cost for us was the addition of a nice new shower door which was not part of the original work). If you are looking for a company that will stand 100% behind their work and be responsive to your concerns Time 2 Remodel is a great choice!

Recent Review: We discovered a master bathroom shower leak shortly after moving to Madison and moving into the house. We visited Allen's showroom and were impressed by the displays and found a shower tile that we liked a lot, and we met Julia who helped work up a bid for the work. We liked the idea that it was a one-stop-shop...they contracted out everything for us. And they also had a price guarantee. We agreed to the work, and they began a few weeks later. Installation took only about a week or so. Contractor was easy to deal with. Cleaned up after each day and didn't make too much of a mess (however, did manage to track in some grout on the bottom of his shoe, and got it on a few things). Only snafu was that the hot/cold got switched, and the plumber came out promptly to fix once we notified Allen. In hindsight, I realize that I've probably overpaid for such a small job. However there is a price to pay for the convenience aspect that Allen has...

This company was a bit sad. They were responsive to come over, review my shower remodel. I was told I would get a quote back in around a week. That was a bit over a month ago and after multiple emails asking about the quote I get the standard response it will be there shortly. At this point I would not hire them regardless of their quote. No faith in their committment to their clients.

AQuality Maintenance & Remodeling
Randy was referred by a friend who needed handiwork done to get her house up and ready for sale. I called to get an estimate for the external painting and a few odds and ends. Randy was great! He showed up on time for every meeting and kept me apprised of his arduous hunt for matching vinyl siding (which was a tough job that he did complete). He has a great demeanor, likes pets and works quietly (when possible!). My husband works 3rd shift and never heard a thing. Highly recommend him, great value and workmanship.

AWebster Bath Remodeling
Outstanding performance and excellent results. Webster provides a written estimate not only of cost but of time to complete the job, and he fulfills this commitment. Jobs are completed quickly (a week or so for each of our bathrooms). The care and quality of work are excellent; tile work is superb. Webster and his subcontractors are thoughtful, polite, and as unintrusive as possible, cleaning up daily and avoiding tracking dirt around.

DALLEN KITCHEN AND BATH
This was an extremely negative and frustrating experience for us.  We were fooled by the beautiful showroom, smooth product selection process, and detailed timeline and contract that outlined for us when we could expect our job to start and finish as well as when payments would be due.  Start time was to be the end of October 2011 and both bathrooms were to be done mid November noting that it could be as long as the first week of December (allowing for unforseen delays).  Long story short, the project began late and is still not completely finished as of March 2012.  The company seemed unable to cover an unexpected absence of one of their employees.  Their staffing problem became our problem.  No one person seemed to be in charge of our job.  Coordination and communication seemed poor between workers.  There were many "no-show" days with no explanation.  There were days when workers showed up only to find they were unable to work because products were not delivered and unavailable for pick-up.  There were times that workers showed up but could not work because other work needed to be done before they could do their piece.  Wrong products were delivered and installed.   After mid-November we had to start being specific about when the house was available because of our personal schedules.  Clearing a month to allow as much access to the house during the expected timeline was an effort the company did not seem to value.  The company tried to satisfy us by giving us anticipated dates that were continually pushed back.  It was obviously more than a staffing issue as they struggled getting the products ordered to the house.   Despite the fact that the timeline was far exceeded, no effort was made to help speed up the process in any way.   All we ever heard was "we're doing the best we can" and "the part is not here or the supplies are not here". Note that all the above occurred during the remodel of the first bathroom only.  Two bathrooms were to be done by mid November.  Because of the lack of progress, lack of response from the company, and no end in site for completion of the first bathroom we decided we did not want them to work on the second bathroom and were able to cancel that job from the contract after paying a restocking fee.    During the last 2 years we have had our roof, siding, gutters and floors replaced or updated by various companies.  The work was completed on time and problems were dealt with quickly, often on the same or next day.  This is in stark contrast to our experience with Allen Kitchen and Bath. As of today, the bathroom although functional, is not completed.   We are still waiting for touch up work to be done as well as "delivery" of a missing part to our shower door that once again did not arrive .

AHappy To Help Home Improvement
Patrick is the BEST! When he came over for the initial estimate for our bathroom redo he was prompt and courteous, and he was supportive of us helping throughout the project. He was also sensitive to the fact that this is our only bathroom, and had solutions right away to deal with this throughout construction. (He set up a temporary shower over the drain in our basement, and replaced the toilet every evening when he was done working.) His price was reasonable, and I was very impressed with how willing he was to guide us through the process. We had a lot of questions on what types of products we needed and where we could get them, but Patrick responded quickly every time and helped us make sure we bought the correct things. We did demo on the bathroom, and then worked alongside him when possible. He taught us more than I can type here! How to cut tiles, how inserts are installed, how to level a floor... Overall his communication was great. He got back to us right away, every single time. At the end of the day he usually left us a note about how the work was going and any questions he had. He explained things thoroughly and always answered our questions (and I'm sure some of them were silly ones). His follow-through is excellent as well! We had an issue with a faulty tub faucet that leaked pretty badly, and Patrick made an extra trip over to investigate. He couldn't fix it, but he left us a temporary solution so we could bathe and wouldn't have to worry about leaks. Turns out it was a faulty tub faucet, so after the company sent us a new one Patrick came over and installed it. He was also here late another day helping us install a tricky frameless shower door- a VERY HEAVY frameless shower door.  As a person, Patrick is incredibly patient, funny, and kind. He didn't mind working with our puppy watching him from the kitchen and he didn't mind working with us on our first remodeling job. His background is really interesting too, how he became a handyman.  In the end, our bathroom turned out spectacular! It is so much better than the out-of-date 50's bathroom we had before. His work is so neat and clean- after enjoying it for months now I have yet to find a detail missed. It just has that solid, well-crafted feeling to it.  I would hire Patrick again for any job, he is the greatest.
